(Not so much a fight as a scramble to survive. Jagamon tend to accidentally trample digimon to death.)
Justin ducks his head a bit as Gigimon leaps over him. "That was a strong jump." he says laughing, but suddenly stops. A lone pebble had just fallen off a bigger rock behind Rei. It wouldn't have interested him normally, but what had enraptured his attention was that the pebble was still vibrating on the rocky path when it should have stopped moving already.
Justin points at the strange phenomenon. "Hey guys you see that?" He cannot yet feel the growing vibrations of the path, and the dust cloud straight down the path completely escapes his notice.
Justin is about to turn his head and ask Kudamon when a crimson light flashes behind him and something strikes Kudamon from the side.
"Dahh!!" The shot knocks him out cold as he strikes the ground and he lays unmoving.
Justin's eyes widen in shock. "Kudamon!" He kneels by the fallen digimon's side and picks him up in his arms. His head flashes from left to right; trying to identify their assailant. "Who? Who did that!? Kudamon! Are you okay!?"
On his knees Justin can feel the rumbling of the ground now. He slowly turns his head back at Rei, but his eyes focus on the huge dust cloud not even a mile away in front of them.
Ghoulmon chuckles evilly at the scene. It was all working perfectly. The fox was now out the game, and that left the humans without a protector. All that was left was to get the jagamon to spread out a little and get really riled up.
He points his right hand at the herd of Jagamon, and releases a single, crimson beam from the eye on his hand. "death arrow!" The beam strikes the middle of the Jagamon's herd and the single-minded digimon panic in fear. Now their tight bundle spreads into a wave sweeping over the entire rise, and their speed increases while they are not looking where they are going.

Kazu nodded at Jai's description and watched as he began yelling at the mountainside. He sighed and patted Jai's shoulder.
"Randomly yelling isn't going to find your friend. We need to be more structured then that. Come one, we'll hike up this way first and see if..."
There was a rumbling. Hardly recognisable to begin with, just some vibrations that rattled a few small stones. Kazu looked around, nothing seemed to be causing the vibrations but they weren't stopping.
"Something bad is about to happen..."
Kazu took off at a sprint, Veemon close behind. He motioned for Jai and Toru to follow him. He rounded a bend in th mountainside and the whole front of the File Mountains opened up to him, he could see the place he had trained, craters still present, the watrfall, the pond... A dust cloud...
"That... It can't be..."
The dust cloud was rolling down the mountainside, a red blast seemed to fl into the centre of it, Kazu wheeled around but couldn't see the source of the shot. His eyes flicked back to the dust cloud, it was spreading out wider as it moved. A flicker caught Kazu's eye.
"Oh sh*t..."
Two humans. One young with a red Digimon and one older with a pink one were standing in the direct path of the dust cloud. Kazu was too far away for them to hear him. But he could make out what the cloud was. Jagamon... Infamous for their stampeding, with that many so spread out there was no way they could move effectivly out of the way.
"Guys! We gotta move!"
Veemon leaped into the air and shone brightly as Kazu's Digivice did the same. Data swirled around Veemon as he Digivolved. Paildramon stood floated down and offered an arm for Kazu to leap onto and climb onto his shoulder.
"Guys! Keep up yeah?"
Paildramon took off at speed towards the two Tamers in trouble, they were still to far away to be heard, and too far for effective action.
"Come on Paildramon... We can't have any more deaths!"

Some could say its magic  Toru slowly followed behind when he felt the shift in the earth. He looked up and took in his surroundings thats is when he heard Kazu scream out. Running down to see what every one was looking at he saw what the rest were seeing. A giant dust cloud with one of the largest digimon stampeding its way through towards the two tamers below. They had to get them out of the way. Toru looked over at Kazu for advice and was soonly answered when he took flight with his digimon. Toru sat there and thought of how he could get there in time when he didnt have the digimon to power his way through. Then he thought of it. Bringing his body low he activated his digisoul and wrapped its untapped power around his feet. He would use this ability to boost his personal speed. When it fully took affect Toru got into the runners stance and then leaped. He started out slow but the the digisoul took over and he reached the speed to keep up with Kazu and his Palidramon. It was only a matter of time and this was a fight for time.

Lucemon heard Kazu yell, and took flight stance. Veemon hopped on his back and Jai was held in his arms. Lucemon's wings faltered but soon took balance and began to catch up with the others.
"Hey, that cloud is heading for... REI!"
Lucemon swept down beside Kazu and picked up the running pace.
"We need to stop that cloud!

Rei gaped in awe at the cloud moving towards him. He turned around to run then, he saw Kazu and froze.
"Gigimon it's him!"
Gigimon followed Rei's gaze and growled.
"The guy who destroyed network city..."
Rei glared at Kazu, then saw Jai, the digisoul aura began to surround him.
"Jai and that guy. I'm gonna beat both of them!
"Ummm Rei I'm not sure you noticed, but there is a stampede heading for us. I'd priorities if I were you!"
The aura burned brightly for a moment then vanished.
"Yeah, I suppose you're right. Justin we need to move, grab Kudamon and move out of here."
Rei started running towards the two people he hated most right now.

Justin staggers up, cradling Kudamon against his chest. "Yeah." he notes the anger he could feel rolling off Rei. Kazu? That name sounds familiar... At the same time he hopes that this Kazu wasn't one of Alex's enemies, and he curses their identical features. He joins Rei in a frantic gallop to escape the wave of digimon who are only half a mile away now. If they could reach the two in the sky, and the one he could see moving across the mountains at amazing speed, they would be safe.
Ghoulmon, lazily sitting on a steppe enjoying the show suddenly sees an all too familiar face, and an unwelcome one at that. Situated in the arms of a Paildramon was the damned fool who kept the light in Alex. In theory, Kazu had single-handedly demolished his older plans of making Alex into a dark lord by being the boy's friend. Ghoulmon's hatred for him boils over into a fit."K-Kazu!? He's here too?! No! He will not ruin my plans again. Not ever!" Even enraged Ghoulmon is still clever enough to conceal himself thoroughly before aiming his right hand at Paildramon. "May the Jagamon take you." A beam of crimson red shoots out of the eye on his palm toward Paildramon's wings.
Justin becomes aware of a line of crimson slicing the sky in two. ahead of them. A dragon-like digimon was directly in it's path. he wants to cry out, but it would happen too fast.

As Kazu approached the two Tamers he grinned. They'd started to run.
"Thank Yggdrasil, if they'd stayed ther---"
Kazu was cut off as Paildramon grabbed him tightly and rolled in th air.
"Hold on!!!"
Rolling mid-air a bolt of brightest red punched a hole straight through Paildramon's shoulder. The dragonic Digimon yellout out in pain before throwing Kazu across the ground. Paildramon slammed into the ground hard, Kazu skittered across the ground coming to a rest just infront of the two fleeing Tamers. He staggered to his feet covered in dirt, gripping his head.
"Bugger... Owch."
His already tattered clothing was now covering in even more tears and gashed holes.
"May as well go around naked at this rate..."
A stomping behind him alerted him to Paildramons return.
"That bloody hurt!"
The Digimon was gripping his shoulder and rolling it. Kazu ran over to check up on him.
"Ok, so a hole right? Nothing we can't sort out right? Digi-Modify! Recovery Floppy Activate!"
Kazu whipped a card from his pocket and slashed it through the card reader on the side of his Digivice. A flood of green 1's and 0's swarmed around the hole in Paildramon's shoulder, filling it in and leaving the blue skin exposed under the broken shoulder pauldron.
"That should hold, for now at least, strain too much and it'll break so easy ok? Now then... Let's help out!"
Kazu turned to face the two running Tamers and lifted an arm. He slowly pointed dead between them, shut one eye as if he were aiming. His eyes seemed to burn with a blue flame, Paildramon's eyes did the same, the guns on his hips swinging around into position. In perfect harmony the two said:
"Fire Desperado Blaster!!!"
Paildramon's guns erupted with bullets as he loosed round after round against the stampede, bullets would whizz past the two Tamer's and their Digimon as they ran, close but not hitting them. Kazu hoped that the bullets would panic the Jagamon and cause them to split down the middle.
Kazu put a hand to his eyes and let out a breath as the Digi-Soul fire around his eyes vanished, ending the dual vision between himself and Paildramon.
"Toru! Jai! Follow my lead!"

Jai felt a rush of adrenilline and nodded to Kazu.
"Come on guys!"
Lucemon jumped up and held out his hands, while Veemon took a brave stance infront of him.
"Veemon, digivolve to Ulforceveedramon!"
As the huge dragon knight emerged from the ball of light, he activated two giants energy swords from his gauntlets. Lucemon created beams of light that crashed near the Jagamon, and Ulforceveedramon waved his huge blades in a frantic light show attempting to scare the Digimon away.
"Veemon! How did you?! So early on?!"
"No time to explain, we must stop these Digimon with all haste!"
Ulforceveedramon began cutting huge groves in the ground to serve as some kind of cattle grid.
"Too much power, what gave this to me?"

Christian had been carried nearly half way up the stupid mountain, but he immediately stopped, when a huge chunk of the mountain decided to fall directly on the group. One of his Digimon released a vast amount of negative energy, which shattered the massive piece of mountain. On the way up the heard screaming, and several sounds of Digivolution occur, which seemed a bit suspicious. Maybe Digimon are mugging some people, which would have to be dealt with. "Take me around back, and drop me off." He ordered his Digimon, whom had to obey. He was set down around the back, and crawled behind the group of people he had heard. Though what he saw was a little of track, which seemed to mean his judgment was off. It was Jagamon stampeding around, which must have made the massive sized rock fall on him. "Hey whats wrong with you guys?" He yelled towards the group as the Jagamon continued its rampage.

Some could say its magic Toru followed with ease keeping in pace with the other tamers. He had no clue what was going down at the moment but he decided that it would be best to follow in the end. He watched intently as what was Kazu doing and since everyone else was doing the such he brought out his digivice. "Come!" he raised it above his head and then brought it in front of him "Flare!" He aclled out and let the Flawizarmon come forth and run along side of him in speedy pace. He looked over at Flare and they both gave a nod. Bringing his hands in front of him Toru called on his digi soul and brought out the flames he had used earlier. Next Flawizardmon used his Ignite ability and let out a whole bunch of explosive candles. The two combined created a fire show that would surely scare off some of the Jagamon. "Fireworks!!!" They both called out together. The flames lept across the planes and made a line across from the rampage of the Jagamon. Toru hoped that this would work. ((Sorry for being short I wanted to move this along))

The Jagamon are thoroughly frightened by the display of the other digimon and quickly swerve to the right trying to avoid the UlforceAVeedramon, bullets, and "fireworks". They successfully turn their rampage around and head in the opposing direction. Though they are too terrified to stop running, they eventually will when they become tired. For now it seems the tamers are safe.
The quick actions by the other tamers knock Justin out of his stupor. He staggers to his feet, and takes in the three sets of tamer and digimon. These were his saviors, and he is very grateful. "I don't know who you guys are, but thanks so much for that!" He looks back down at Kudamon's unconscious form in his arms. What in the world did that? He suddenly remembers Ghoulmon. At the moment, there is no sign of him, and he definitely had to have met up with the Jagamon. Justin fervently hopes he is alright.
Ghoulmon glides quickly to Justin's position, feigning urgency while actually grumbling to himself in discontent. Not a single casualty, because of those darn children. Humans seem to be everywhere these days. Life is hard for an evil digimon. As he slows down above Justin, he readies his act, and descends. "Are you okay? I couldn't get back in time, because of an ill-timed rock slide."
As Ghoulmon descends in front of him, Justin notes the bruises and scratches on his body, and when it came to Jagamon, rock slides were common, but Justin knows what a death arrow looks like. Ghoulmon had tipped his hand when he shot the Paildramon, and gave him a good view of the attack. The story may be believable, but Ghoulmon definitely is not. At first he is angry at the digimon's hubris, but hides it. This is made sense. Ghoulmon told him that a demon lord removes all obstacles from his path. Kudamon and Paildramon had just been in his way of teaching Alex a lesson. A lesson he has learned all too well. The powerlessness of humans in the digital world. "I'm just glad you're alright. Jagamon can easily trample even a mega digimon to death." Justin raises his digivice and transports Kudamon into it. He would need rest after that surprise attack. He wonders why Ghoulmon didn't just kill him, but then again, a full power death arrow would probably have killed both of them, and Ghoulmon must have been forced to hold back. "Well, let's go meet our rescuers."
Justin walks ahead to where the three mystery tamers are. "Like I said, thanks again. We would have died if it weren't for you guys."
Ghoulmon burns with rage as he watches Justin converse the human, Kazu. He would definitely destroy the accursed brat, and to do that he'd have to keep him close.

Kazu let out a long sigh of releif as the Jagamon turned tail and rampaged in the opposite direction. Looked like the two Tamers would be safe after all.
"Kazu..."
Paildramon stumbled forwards and shone, falling out of the air as Veemon, in a flash Kazu was there to catch him.
"Woah! Buddy are you allright?"
His friend gave a deft wave and rubbed his shoulder.
"Please. That was nothing... Bit sore though."
Veemon scrunched up his eyes as Kazu set him down, the bolt had torn clean through Paildramon's shoulder, Kazu was lucky to have used the recovery floppy when he did, otherwise there might not be an arm left to heal.
"That attack... I've seen it somewhere before."
Kazu trailed off as one of the Tamers approached, a Ghoulmon in tow.
"Ahh it's no problem, just glad to be of service to a fellow Tamer."
Kazu smiled and extended a hand in greeting.
"The name's Kazu. Kazu Matsumoto, ignore the clothing-"
Kazu gave a sweeping gesture towards his bloodied, tattered and torn clothing,
"-I'm not actually hurt. Anyways pleased to meet you!"
He laughed lightly. Looking at the Ghoulmon a feeling of familiarity ebbed in his mind, he couldn't quite place it though.
At the back of his mind Kazu was horribly relieved. He'd managed to prevent the deaths of these two Tamers, but was that enough? Surely no price could be placed on any one life. His heart sank, memories of Lief's death pushing their way to the fore-front of his mind. All light-heartedness he had been showing now vanished as a solem expression overcame him. Kazu's eyes seemed to glase over as he stared off into the distance. Little attention being paid to anything else...

Rei turned to see that the rampage of Jagamon had stopped. He was momentarily relived then he remembered the boy in the tattered clothing.
"You! You destroyed Network City!"
Digisoul wrapped firmly around Rei's fist. He began running towards The Boy. Rei could rember that day clearly.
He had been coming home when all of a suddden a flash of lightning had transported him to the Digital world. He was in the middle of a city, with monsters attacking humans and other monsters aike. Then Gigimon brought him to safety. There he watched an imperialdraman FM destroy the square.
Rei's digisoul erupted like a volcanothen shrank around his fist. He leaped into the air and brought his fist down onto the boy's face...

Kazu was broken from his stupor by a yelling from one of the Tamers.
"Network... City?"
A sudden flashback of memories, that was the day he had first met Lief. They had worked together to save civillians and fight off the Dark Tamers.
"Destroy... What do you..."
Kazu's eyes shrank back in surprise as the boy's fist slammed into the side of is face, it was like being his by a truck, the kids raw Digi-Soul packed one hell of a punch, so much so that Kazu was lifted off his feet and hurled backwards, bouncing off the ground until he hit a rock, coming to a standstill.
"Kazu!"
Veemon looked between Rei and his motionless Tamer before sprinting to his friends side.
"Hey! Snap outta it Kazu! Wake up damn it!"
Kazu stirred, a small trickle of blood ran down hs forehead. He got shakily up, his hair covering his eyes. Kazu spat at the ground and looked up, his eyes burning with a blue fire instead of pupils.
"You punk a** kid! You think that was me that destroyed the city!?"
Anger was begining to well up inside him, blue sparks began to fill the air as he clenched his fists.
"I was the one protecting the city! How dare you accuse me of otherwise!!!"
Kazu pulled out his Digivice and pointed it at Veemon.
"Digivolve!"
A beam of light shot at the hesitant Digimon, enveloping him and shining brightly.
"Veemon, Double Warp, Mode Change to:""Imperialdramon Fighter Mode!"
The dragoninc warrior rose up off the ground, Kazu on his shoulder, arms folded.
"Look kid! I just saved your bloody life! The least you could do is say thank you!"
Kazu's rage had filled his mind, even though Justin, Toru and Jai were still present he couldn't focus on them, he was so angry at the accusation made against him. Just who the hell did this kid think he was anyway?
"Sorry about this Imperialdramon... I know you've just been hurt, but we need to make our point very clear."
Kazu cleared his throat and yelled down at Rei.
"Hey! Kid! As a Tamer yourself you shouldn't be so quick to judge! What you se here is one of the people who fought to save Network City. So unless you want to start trouble by frikkin' punching people, I'd suggest you back off!"
Kazu wasn't expecting a fight, this Digivolution was aimed mostly to scare the kid into apologising, or at least backing off and stop punching people.

Rei's right arm was limp, probebly broken, but that didn't matter.
He couldn't care less about what the Tamer Kazu was saying, probebly all lies anyway. Then his digimon transformed into the very same form it took when it was destroying the square.
"That supposed to be some kinda threat. Cause I'll tell you now, you'll pay for what you did!"
His digisoul erupted again.
"I remeber that day, my arrival in the digital world, one of the first sights I saw was that digimon wrecking the square!"
"Yeah I saw it too!"
Gigimon then leaped at Rei, and they fused together.
"Cause if the threats arn't delt with now they'll just get stronger!"
They then fused completly and grew in to Gallantmon Crimson Mode.
Vos mos non exsisto left cretum validus. lux lucis mos Debello vestri malum animus!(You will not be left to grow stronger. The light will Vanquish your evil soul)
Gallantmon CM held his sword next to his waist.
"Que vadis!"
He disapeared and re-apeared behind Imperialdramon, sword out strenched. He waited for the slashes.
((Imagine this attack as sepheroth uses at the start of th fight in KH 2))
