"Alright," Kane said as he helped Lan with his belt. Taking off his pants, Kane hesitated. Then he kissed Lan on the forhead and touched his leg gently. "O-okay Lan. J-just remeber to relax..." Although Lan could not see it, there was a small tear in the corner of Kane's eye.

((The Next Morning))
Lan awoke and felt Kane's arms around him. Then the events of last night returned to memory and he blushed. He tilted his head and looked at Kane. His hair, like Lan's, was still matted with sweat. "Good morning Kane"

Kane blinked awake, and noticed that he was still holding Lan. "Oh. Good morning," he said a little uncomfortably. Getting up, he got dressed and brushed out his hair. "Umm...did you sleep well?" Kane was not looking at Lan, but had his back tunred aas he sat at the edge of the bed combing the knots out of his hair.

Lan sat up. "Yeah I did" then he crawled over and put his arms around Kane. "What's wrong? You seem bothered" he asked as he gently kissed Kane's neck.

Kane turned his head away, not wanting to look at Lan. "It's nothing. I'm glad that you slept well. I did too." Putting his brush down, Kane touched Lan's wrist lightly, distracted by his own thoughts.

Gently, Lan put a finger under Kane's chin and tilted his face towards him. "Please Kane" he said sadly. "Tell me. I need to know if something went wrong" he was worried about Kane.

Kane pulled away from Lan's touch. He didn't want him to see the tears in his eyes. "If I told you, you would think I didn't love you. But I do." Kane let the tears run down his cheeks silently, keeping his face turned away.

Lan was worried again. "Kane. There is nothing that would make me stop loving you" he sad with complete sincerity. "Tell me" he said as he kissed Kane gently.

"I..." a sob escaped his lips and he hiccuped before he could continue. "What happened last nigh...I don't knwo. It's just that, I guess I've been doing it for less than chivalrous reasons for such a while that I've come to be ashamed of it. I just feel filthy, and I feel as if I've blemished you as well." Kane started sobbing into his hands as he feared Lan's response.

Lan picked up Kane's chin yet again and kissed him deeply. "What we did was because we love each other. You have not blemished me at all. If anything you have blessed me." Lan smiled and held Kane in his arms.

Kane hugged Lan so feircely that he knocked him onto his back on the bed. Still crying a little, he said, "Oh, thank you Lan. I'm so happy that you understand!" Sitting back up, Kane smiled through his tears. "I'm sorry for being such a downer." Looking at Lan with starry eyes, he said sweetly, "I love you," and puckered his lips for a kiss.

Lan smiled at Kane's response and leaned in and met Kane's lips. He softly kissed Kane. No tongue, no biting, just love. He closed his eyes during the entirity of the kiss and once he broke it he looked up and giggled. "You look a lot like a fishy when you do those lips^^" he said with a little meow.

Kane stuck his tongue out at Lan's comment. "Do not," he playfully. "So, what are our plans for today? I hope they don't involve going tinto the future or dying or anything like that." Kane laughed as he was glad that they had a chance at having a normal day for once.

Lan again giggled and poked Kane's nose "You're cute" he said smiling. He leaned his head on kane's shoulder, moving Kane's arms so that Kane was holding Lan. "Y-you could show me some dance moves?" giggles in emberassment.

"Ah, no not today," Kane said as he hugged Lan. "If I tried to dance with you I would probably go crazy trying to restrain myself." Giggling, Kane said, "but I could show you some other cool places around town. And they wouldn't all have to be bars and clubs; I could show you some of the commmunity centers and gyms and things like this. I think it's time for us to tour a brighter side of this city. WHat do you say?" Kane asked, kissing Lan on the forhead.
