Nora took one final reach and then suddenly her hand closed around the golden ball. Nora just about threw both her hands in the air in excitement but stopped herself before she fell off her broom. With a huge beaming smile, she made her way toward the ground, snitch held high in the air in triumph. Once she landed she let herself fall on the ground to catch her breath, never losing her smile. What could she say? She liked winning.

Milan walked out onto the pitch, ready to begin his final game... probably ever. His ribs were secured under his shirt, carefully bound to prevent another painful dislocation. He needed to bring his A-Game today to make sure they'd emerge victorious. Summoning all his team over to their side, he prepared his final pep-talk. "Okay guys. We have a really, really good chance of victory here. Syd is going to go nuts to get the snitch. We don't need any quaffle points to win, but we desperately need the snitch. Linsey and Yarrick, defense is key. Gryffindor's beaters are not afraid of a showdown. You both have the skills, and I know you can rock this. Don't be afraid to fire off at them, but be careful to not hit yourselves. You can do it.

Uriel, you've been practicing your butt off. Nothing's getting past you, okay? Keep your eye and be ready for feints and miss-tosses. Cassidy, Lewis, and I are going to make as many runs for the goals as we can, just to try to tally up the points. We've all been working so crazy hard this year, and I know we're going to make our final game an epic one. Besides, our bet is still on the table. We can do this if we work together and focus on our training." He nodded, drawing in a deep breath. It was going to be wild, but he knew his team was up for the task.

As everyone split off, Milan awkwardly tapped Syd on the shoulder. "Hey, Bar... Syd. You've got this, okay? Last game before you take over. Good luck up there." There. he was trying to keep his head clear of any negativity, especially since he was fairly certain the intrusive thoughts would be on attack today. But if anyone could catch the snitch... well, it was Syd. Don't forget, you chose him as your Vice Captain for a reason. Milan let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding, then moved to work on some stretches before the game would begin.

Sky was so ready for this game. It was going to be insane, but her main goal was to wait on catching so her team's chasers could get 4 goals. Against Milan, who had proven himself quite the thief. Unfortunately, that meant she had to try and pay attention to the chasers (or the announcer with the gawdawful accent) to try and time her catching right. And that's assuming Syd Barrett didn't just... swoop in for the score. So somehow, Sky had to pay attention to the full game, while also not letting the Ravenclaw Seeker get in close. It was going to be a long, long day... but hopefully one that resulted in a grand victory for the Lions.
