Does she know that you like her? Chocolates are nice, girls really like chocolate. I don't have a girlfriend (nor will I ever), but with five sisters, I think I know quite a bit about girls since I talk to their boyfriends (pulling what the dad should be doing)

Your best move is to be as honest as possible. How old are you both? Chocolate is a shoe in to get her in a good mood, but if your going for gold then maybe a nice necklace or something? As far as asking out tips go: I personally asked my girlfriend out after having talked with her about anything and everything for as long as I've known her and hanging around with her and enjoying her company. I'm proud to say that she was one of my best friends before she was my girlfriend. Alway strive to build on friendship first, so long as you're friends first there is always a chance at you being something more.
