Kyo smiled, closing his eyes for sleep, slowly giving in to the warmth and sleepiness. He wasn't really that excited about school, for some reason. It's weird. Usually he couldn't wait to go back to school.

Gikishou woke up to the alarm clock and yawned as he sat up, waking up Kyo gently and went to do his morning ritual, going down to make breakfast. Some nice pancakes should be fine.

Kyo got up, though reluctantly, from the wamrth of the bed and went on with the morning routine. There was a feeling in him that something was going to happen at school, but what could it be?

Gikishou smiled when he came down and kissed him lightly. "I made pancakes. Do you want me to make some scrambled eggs and bacon with yours?" He asked. He wanted to make sure that the feeling that seemed to be making Kyo worry was completely forgotten or ignored.

"Yes, please," Kyo said still a bit drowsy. Taking a seat, he rested his head on the table. Of course he wasn't going to actually fall asleep. It was a school day today, so there was no reason to fall asleep unless he wanted to skip school, which was something he would never even dream of doing.

Gikishou ruffled his hair. "If you're sleepy, I can make you some coffee. We have french vanilla." He told him, wanting to help.

"I don't really drink coffee, though," Kyo said before he yawned a little. "I'm usually always awake. Maybe my mind just didn't get enough rest from last night or something."

Gikishou nodded. "I certainly hope it's just a one time thing." He said, ruffling his hair lightly. "Eat up, you'll need the glucose." He said, hardly even noticing that he was speaking better with a larger vocabulary. He dug into his own breakfast happily.

"Don't worry, Giki-san. It's very rare," Kyo replied. "I believe it's just because my brain hasn't rested enough or something." Lifting his head from the table, Kyo immediately began eating his breakfast. Strangely, he was in a hurry to finish, probably because he didn't want to waste anymore time before school started.

GIkishou smiled some and nodded, also noticing that he was eating faster than usual. He couldn't tell if this was a form of worry or just hunger, so he didn't point it out, though he swore it only took ten seconds to finish the eggs he'd made for kyo.

After Kyo finished his breakfast, he immediately stood and hurried to the door, getting his backpack in the process. Something was definitely wrong, though it wasn't the anxiousness to get to school. It seemed that something was going to happen today.

Gikishou was surprised by his edgy-ness, but followed and helped him into the truck and kissing his chest. "Today will be okay." He told him, nuzzling him lightly and getting in on the drivers side, heading to school and escorting him to class where the usual friends and protectors in Kyo's class were.

All through school, Kyo forgot about the problem. Nothing terrible happened, and somewhere around break he heard the good news that Giki-san wouldn't have to be going to anymore tutorial lessons. In that case, maybe today would actually be a good day after all.

Gikishou smiled and waited at the front of the school while Kyo tutored someone else. While he waited, he spotted somebody."Yo,fairy." He said, smirking. Gikishou scowled and ignored him. "Oh, strong silent type? Guys must really like that." Gikishou fought to keep still. He wasn't going to lose his cool over a few gay comments. "I wonder how many times you've had sex with the little fairy though. He looks pretty eas-" Gikishou kicked him in the stomach harshly and then punched his nose when he recoiled, effectively breaking it as the man staggered back. "NEVER insult Kyo again, or I will kill you." he threatened coldly, all trace of kindness gone.

No one seemed to be in need of his assistance for the tutoring session, so Kyo walked to the front of the school to meet up with Giki-san. For some reason, there were shouts outside. Probably something exciting, but it was nothing of the sort when he exited the building. He stood, frozen, as Giki-san threw punches and kicks at a fellow student. All positive feelings were replaced by fear and confusion, and Kyo fled. He didn't bother to watch where he was going. His mind only told him to run away, far away, from the monster he called friend.
