No he's not... he's just has intentions that are good for digimon, but bad for humans. That's all and he's only been in one season -.-

Crimson: *blocks attack with the shield* WTF. well if a fight you want it is a fight you get "lightning Jaust(dunno how to spell it)" *lightning fires from lance straight at Shadow*
after an hour of battle with no winner Chaos and demi got annoyed
Chaos: yo i don't want to do this but you annoyed me too much
Demi:Agreed
Chaos:*fires attack at shadow*
Demi:*Blast Crimson Away*
after another whole hour of pointless fighting Vayne got back from the shop
Me: o_O wht happened here..... ok i am totally anoyed by the mess here."Envy and Grey Realize" now "Dusk and Damon Realize"
Envy:you want this to stop right
Me:yeah
Grey:kay
Dusk: lets use our combo
Damon: you guys ready
Envy:*envy created a large whirlpool which sucks in Shadow, Crimson, Chaos, Demi*
Me:now grey, dusk and damon
Grey:*Fires large blast from giga gun*
Dusk & Damon: *fires full blast and combines power with the giga gun's blast*
after tht.....all the digimons turn back to their lower forms
so the lesson here is teamwork can get you anywhere you want
