@ferret: Lawl at denominational jokes. I wish I knew more Methodist jokes... I love being a Methodist, but we're so ridiculous sometimes, it's fun to mock ourselves. Mainly our love of casserole.

@Fushigi: I think Firefly would be right up your ally. It's only like... 15 episodes since Fox sent it to the time slot where TV shows go to die. I've heard Dollhouse is good though, my boyfriend really likes the few episodes he's seen of it.

@Priestly: Space western though it may be, it has very witty dialogue. You know you can't resist it!

pentecostals are known for always throwing up their hands in worship. from the way it was explained to me, it's like, "Hey, let's worship, guys." And all the hands go up automatically.

And the Baptists...Watch footloose or dirty dancing. I can't remember which one it was, but the grandparets were Baptist and they were appalled at the dancing their granddaughter was doing.

And for the record, Baptists love fried chicken and deviled eggs. (And sandwiches when the youth group goes to Show Low lol)
