Gikishou kissed his hair. "It won't end badly." He told him, refusing to believe that the unspeakable would happen behind the door. "if you run, I will follow. You will be my only objective, not anyone hired to stall me, not anyone hired to fight me. You. I will follow you." He promised, nuzzling him.

Kyo wanted to believe Giki-san, he really did, but there was that dreaded nudge of doubt. When, or if, that time does come, he would have to cross his fingers and hope someone in the sky was on his and Giki-san's side.

He was going to protect him. HE was going to protect this small boy he adored. Even if he scared him,he would catch him.He would hug him and kiss him and make it okay. He would make sure that Kyo was no longer afraid of him.

Kyo snapped out of his thoughts, deciding that it would be a shame to waste a good night on the roof because of thoughts. "U-um... Let's just enjoy skywatching for tonight," he said a little hurriedly.

Gikishou smiled some and nodded, nuzzling him. "You're right." He said, getting the blanket and wrapping it around Kyo to keep him warm as he hugged him.

Kyo stared up at the sky, hoping to enjoy the sight of the twinkling stars, but he once again felt paranoia. There was a rustle of tree branches, but there was no wind aroun. Warily, he turned his head toward the sound. Maybe it was just a bunch of squirrels.

Gikishou tensed slightly and held him closer, knowing that the form was too big to be an animal. And as a car passed, he saw the eyes reflect red, like a humans. He bit back a growl. "Whoever's watching us is here, but I'll protect you." He whispered comfortingly. He rubbed his back and continued to hold him.

There was a flurry of buzzing as the fireflies charged at the tree. It seems that they have noticed as well and are pretty angry. After Kyo heard a few annoyed shouts or something of the sort, the fireflies returned and rested on the roof. The person was still there, but perhaps a little disoriented by the sudden attack from the little bugs.

Gikikishou let out a small chuckle at the scene,, and thanked them. "At least now he knows that nature's on our side." He muttered, attempting to lighten the mood and calm Kyo down.

Kyo calmed down a little. He might as well just forget about whoever was in the tree. It wasn't like he was going to just emerge and attack. The fireflies seemed to have everything under control, after all.

Gikishou kissed his hair, tilting his chin up so that he could look at the stars again. "They're beautiful tonight." He said, smiling.

At the sight of the stars, Kyo's fears were chased away as if they were afraid of the lights. Enchanted by the stars as he had always been, he could only reply with a nod.

He began making a list of things that calmed Kyo: Stars, and massages so far, but the list should get longer. Soon, they had to go to bed, so he put Kyo on his back, jumping off of the roof and catching the ledge. He hoisted himself and Kyo inside, setting him on the bed. "We have school tomorrow, which is why we can't stay out longer."

(The moment is almost here! >:3)
"Yeah, I know," Kyo said a bit drowsily. He yawned a little and then moved to one side of the bed so Giki-san would have room to lie down. The day had been quite tiring and the first date wasn't exactly perfect, but it was also enjoyable. Well, it could have been worse, right?

Gikishou hugged him close as he lay down beside him after setting the alarm clock. He rubbed his back lightly. "The date didn't go quite as I imagined, but I'm getting better at figuring out where to take you." He said, kissing his hair.
