Ahh, so you've been pretty much on your own for 3 years now. Did you get emanicpated, or did you just take off? (I've had a few friends that didn't get along well with their parents)

I kind of just quit going home. I started spending three or four days away in a row, every week. One day I went home to find out my parents had moved. I lived in that house for another month before moving out. Since then I have gone back to living with my parents for short times, but ultimately we all agree it is best if I live apart.

And apparently I'm not leaving because if I did that would leave me with no electronic human contact, in the dark of my room at 1:32 A.M. with nothing to do until about 4 A.M when I finally feel sleep tugging at me eyes due to damned partial insomnia

Oh yes I will share the details...
Luri, as you know... I am an avid writer and roleplayer... I create worlds and characters and the likes... well I have one character in specific, whom a friend stole from me behind my back, knowing full well that she was my character. Most people would tell me to get a grip, however as you more than likely know...
WRITERS DO NOT LIKE IT WHEN SOMEONE STEALS THEIR IDEAS
And that fact that it was MY FRIEND who did this to me made it even worse.
She is staring up a new gaming system of some sort, and she took Deji as her own character and is getting the gaming status of an Immortal (which means all powerful in the way the computer system of the game world works)

I feel infringed... I feel violated... and I feel like my property has been stolen from right under my nose...

And what made it worse was that she told me this at the VERY MOMENT I was rp'ng my character!
But because she is getting immortal status and I'm not SHE GETS THE FINAL SAY????

This almost seems like a therapy session. And I could never trust cats. Still, I might as well sum it up for you. It would be kind of mean not to sate your curiousity.

Short version: I was an introverted bookworm as a child. While my family loved me, they never had cause to spend much time with me. By the time I was ten my family was nothing more than the people who gave me food and shelter. I never really gained the family bond I always hear about, and this was encouraged even more by the divorce of my parents (several in fact).

Around thirteen I decided to quit being a complete introvert, and decided to actually socialize. Over the next couple years I realized much of what my parents had told me growing up was a lie, and I became practically completely detached from my family. Having been an "outcast" by both choice and medical conditions, I occupied a strange social niche. I am an object of curiousity and wonder, yet at the same time I am completely ignored. By the time I turned sixteen I had traveled extensively (I was also a Air Force brat), and knew enough to take care of myself. So, I started seeing how long I could stay away without my parents caring. In response my parents moved.

I suppose to some degree my situation is bad, but I have been quite happy since I started taking care of myself, and I get along better with my family now than ever. I will never really "love" my family as whole, but I have made sure to maintain friendly relations with them.
