granted the day turn horrid and pours down rain drenching you before you can get inside.
Wet fro the rest of the day and you catch a cold from it... twisted
I wish that I would get the new job I applied for.

Granted they chain you to your desk and give you your 3 servings of water, stale bread, and gruel a day and you never see the outside of the building again.
I wish my assistant store director would freaking transfer already

Granted. Unfortunately the transfer involves him being promoted to director of a new bigger store and he is allowed to take 5 members of staff from your branch with him.... Guess who's in the list of five!!
I wish I was truly self employed and independent.

Granted you now have your own business. It is doing very well but you are a hard boss. Your employees don't like you and you are having trouble keeping workers. Your wife leaves you, cuz you're never home, and takes the kids.
You're self employed and independent.
I wish there were more hours in a day.

Granted: Now you have more time to be spent at work-at a job you absolutely loathe, more time to be stuck in traffic, more time to be spent hearing your crying infant kids who don't stop and are seemingly up at all hours of the night, and absolutely no personal time for yourself.
I wish I didn't have to wish bad wishes.

Granted you make good wishes for a lot of people who twist their wishes into bad ones. Continuing a never ending cycle of good wishing turning into bad wishing

Granted, now everything is in permanent slow mo. Almost like living in The Matrix, but it makes waiting in line for the bathroom a whole lot more hellish.
