Alex thought for a second then nodded. "Yeah that sounds good. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you're ok too." He smiled and got up.

They walked outside but Eva stopped. "So.......who's driving......in which car?" She asked.

"Mind if I try and drive yours?" He asked. "I've never driven a mustang, and I've heard there nice cars." He smiled.

She hesitated and folded her arms. Eva looked at the car and then back at Alex. She walked up to him and sighed. "Ok but if you put one scratch on my baby I will kill..........despite the fact that I love. I worked really hard to pay for her." Again she hesitated but reluctantly handed him the keys.

He kissed her and got into the driver's seat. "Honey, I've worked with my cars most of my life. No way I would scratch a ride like this."

Eva got in the car and just looked at him. She was used to boys driving really crazy in a car like this. Her brothers were known to actually crash their cars. That's why they had never driven her car. No one had ever driven her car but her. Not even her own parent. She quickly clicked the seat belt and watched the road. The car's life began to flash before her eyes. Eva had worked three jobs every summer just to get the car of her dreams. Her body tensed as he began to drive.

Alex glanced at her. "Hey, don't worry. Nothing will happen to your car. I promise." He smiled and drove a little slower than normal as he headed towards the shop.

Eva folded her arms and looked at him. "Easy for you to say." She told him. Every time a car got near hers she freaked and winced. She sighed and covered her eyes. "These people are going to give me a heart attack."

Alex shook his head and sighed. "I'm not that bad of a driver am I?" He asked her as he stopped outside the shop.

She turned to him and smiled. "No, you're not a bad driver. It's just Kenny got his driver's license today. Remember? His mom's been talking about it to everyone. And he was the car back there that almost hit us." She had met Kenny in the store with his mother along with the rest of the town. He couldn't keep his eyes off of Eva.

Alex nodded. "Yeah, I know. But he didn't hit us. So there's a plus." He smiled and stepped out of the car. "Either way, we're here."

She stepped out of the car and sighed. "Yeah, finally." Eva said. They walked inside and the sound of machinery and drills was music to her ears. "Just like home." She said.

Alex smiled and started to walk around the back. "Come on, I'll show you the back side. Gotta go that way to get to the office anyways." He said waiting for her.

Eva caught up to him and laced hands with him. Everything seemed all too familiar to her. It was just like her uncle's shop where she learned how to fix up bikes. "You know, I was think." She said as they continued to walk. "Maybe you can teach me how to fix cars and I'll teach you how to fix bikes."

Alex looked at her and nodded. "That sounds like a great idea. Maybe we could start our own shop someday." He smied at her.
