Chris saw the attack coming "Skylar watch it!" He yelled. He knew Phoenixmon didn't have much chance against a water digimon "Activate Mutant Digivolution" He said. Suddenly Phoenixmon changed form and became Seraphimon. "Skylar show them what we've got" He said. Skylar nodded and took the hit from Ranamon. "You want to play girly lets play" He said. He then held his arms out "Seventh Heaven!" He said as his attack launched at Ranamon. He was actually fairly hurt from taking all those attacks.

Skylar frowned as he saw the whirlpool form around him. He wasn't sure how he was going to get free but he remained calm. "Your water attacks don't scare me" He said.

Meanwhile Chris had walked around and found the geyser the digimon was using to get in the air. He frowned not sure if he could help.

Skylar decided to try something he held his hand in the air. "Excalibur!" he roared as he formed a sword of energy. He then swung it slicing a small hole in the whirlpool so he could get free. He quickly flew over to chris and picked him up "Glad your ok" Chris said. He then flew into the air and chris jumped from his arms and swung his fist attempting to hit the digimon meanwhile Skylar was trying to stop the whirlpool "Seventh Heaven!" he said shooting orbs into it.

(Sorry always wanted to have my character punch someone)

Chris frowned as he was held in place "Skylar no!" He yelled. He watched as the acidic water began to consume Skylar. "You witch!" he yelled. He closed his eyes "You'll pay I swear you'll pay!" He then opened his eyes and they glowed "Activate Burst Mode!" He roared. Suddenly the water formed a ball and then light burst from it until Skylar reappeared as Seraphimon BM. "Let him go or face my wrath" He said as he floated in the air. He held one hand infront of him as he made a sphere of light.

Skylar and Chris watched as Ranamon turned into her tome and the attacks vanished. Skylar then landed and reverted into Biyomon. Chris looked at Marcus weakly he was still tired from all the events earlier plus making Skylar digivolve to Burst Mode took alot out of him. "Marcus...it's good to see you again...I'm sorry.." He said weakly as he closed his eyes and collapsed. Skylar quickly ran over to him "Chris! are you alright" He said. Chris weakly looked at him "Yeah just...tired" He said. Skylar looked at Marcus "I know you" He said.

Skylar looked at him and frowned "I'm not sure you remind me of one of my tamers friends" He said. He looked at Chris "My tamer Chris left a group after feeling that he was too weak to help them he sought to become stronger" He said. He looked at Marcus "I could be wrong though but for some reason Chris believes that you are his friend Marq and his digimon Artemis told me one of your digimon believes this too" He said.

Skylar looked at him and nodded he hadn't relised how long ago it had been. He then began following him to where ever he headed.

Void rushed after Marcus in a fuming anger, "That was not cool Marcus. Not cool at all!!! He just wanted to be friends with you!" She ran in front of her tamer, stopping him from walking any further.

"Come on Void! I had to... he's the enemy at the moment!" Marcus's cold composure broke before the icy Lizard's motherly scolding. "If I didn't, he would have followed and then stopped us once we stopped him." He had a whiny tone in his voice.

"That's no excuse mister! You broke his crest!" Lillymon landed beside Snowagumon, tapping her foot and crossing her arms, "That was cruel beyond compare. You should be ashamed of yourself!!"

"I can't believe this... you two went from defending me to scolding me." Marcus dropped to sitting indian-style with Yevon's egg resting in his lap. "Sure I was a little cold, but that's just how I am!" Marcus reached inside of his shirt and pulled out his crest and tag, showing it to them. "You see this?! I don't know why I have it, but I do... the Crest of Corruption. I'm changing and I can't stop it, they say that the crest depicts the tamer's strongest traits, I guess I'm meant to be corrupt." He returns the crest to inside of his jacket and begins to pout.

"WELL CONGRATULATIONS!!! You got your flippen wish. Chris probably won't talk to you anymore now and what makes things worse... His digimon want to kill up... Oh joy." Void huffed, releasing a cold air that froze a patch of grass at her feet.

"Yeah... when this is over, you're going to apologize and you're going to mean it... OR ELSE!!"

"I know... I had already intended to do so. I just have to find the right moment because now is going to be nothing but bad moments, I can assure you of that." Marcus returned to looking at the egg in front of him. He sighed as he then looked up at File Mountain where it all broke down.

Void sighed as well and then went to sit next to Marcus, leaning against his arm, "Now what do we do?"

Jou flew in a circle around Marcus and Void before coming to land of Marcus's opposite side. "I guess we just wait around for Yevon to be reborn and then do whatever Marcus will have us to do." She rests her head on Marcus's shoulder, "Ya know it's a good thing that we're ubber loyal to you, because you do some Straaange crap here and there."

"I know, I know and I am thankful. All the time I am thankful to you guys for your friendship and your loyalty. It's been about five years since I went back to the real world and ya know... I kind of like it here."
