Second question is about Vigil Games and the Dark Millenium;
no one has bought the company sooooo...... neutral

Chances are that project is too toxic to handle and it is perhaps for the best to just let it die.

That seems to be the case so far.
Shame, would have loved to see what they would have come up with
using their comic-bookish style like they did with Darksiders.
........oh yeah...... that means no sequals too. gonk

Was Darksiders any good? I see that review sites gave it favourable reviews, mostly 80+ on the scoring.

Also, Platinum Games, a Japanese company has expressed interest in buying Vigil Games, so there may be salvation yet! wink

Haven´t played the second one,
but the 1st one was pretty good. biggrin
Story was good and the art-style is something close to Marvel comics,
then again the company is run by 2 comic artists. ^^"

I think we may see a new darksiders, we still have two horsemen to go and it was quite the money maker. May need to wait for a while to see it though.

On the note of sequals we may just get an SM sequal!

The part that might cause some distress: "A representative from Crytek got back to me to say the new studio will not make another Darksiders game. "Crytek USA won't work on a new Darksiders game. At this point in time it is too early to share any future plans," said Jens Schafer from Crytek. It doesn't look like Crytek has any interest in acquiring the IP from THQ. He also confirmed the 35-member team led by Adams consisted entirely of former Vigil Games employees."

He was a good, strong choice for playing captain Titus. wink

I liked him a lot, I also hope that lieutenant Mira makes a return, hopefully with a few extra levels in badass and kickass. blaugh

That would be a good awesome game... though slightly hard to do. I think though, they will have to make it more like the original Dawn of Wars, but at a more massive scale. More of a Apocalypse scale. However, they should allow to you fight at Smaller scale.

it may not work too well for Space marines on that scale, but guardsmen would be good. Possibly Space marines in conjunction with PDF or guardsmen. Just for numbers.

You can actually do Space Marines at a large scale. You have to think, when they commit a Company or two, that is over 300 Emperor's finest. Not including the support they get. Hell, there could be an entire Chapter committed to a fight. Though the Ratio of Space Marines vs like Guardsman is quite big, but still, it is plausible.

Rumour has it that dawn of war 3 will be on a bigger scale, with more units and bigger battles. ninja
