☆ ☆【Fianna chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes as Daiki suggested that it would be better if the ‘kiss of life’ didn’t happen at all, that way she wouldn’t be able to keep him out of her mind. ”Oh? Who says that I’m not doing that already?” she retorted with a sly grin, batting him lightly with her tail. In truth, it was hard for her to not think about him given how worried she was for his health and safety… She really didn’t want him to push himself so hard that he would either collapse again or it would start hurting himself and everyone else around him... The fire fox had felt that perhaps he had been improving a little over the past few fights they’d had against these guardians, but after witnessing what had happened back there… she couldn’t help but feel a bit less sure. Even after her apologized for that whole fiasco, it didn’t do much to ease her worry as he simply gave an apologetic smile in response to her light prodding.
Trying to take her mind off of the concerning thoughts whirling around in her mind, Fianna looked between Daiki and the Medicham walking a bit of a ways ahead of them. As much as she might regret asking about how they had ended up meeting each other, her nagging curiosity just wouldn’t let her simply leave it alone as she popped the question before thinking to even stop herself. Judging from the way Daiki winced the moment the words left her mouth, that already confirmed the Braixen’s suspicions that they hadn’t gotten off on the best foot. Still, he answered her question in spite of his initial hesitation, explaining that he had bumped into the Medicham and might have possibly attacked him right off the bat. Before he could continue to talk about what happened afterwards, the Fighting-type cut in and said that he had beaten the Zoroark in return. ”I see…” Fianna murmured, a troubled expression on her face as Daiki looked away, ”I suppose that explains quite a bit…” In all honesty, even if the Medicham had been hostile like the guardians of this dream world were, attacking on sight… really wasn’t the best idea. Still, what’s done was done… though that also begged the question of why the Fighting-type chose to join them in spite of what had happened. ”I assume you’re trying to get out of this place like we are too? Were you also brought in from the real world?” she asked, directing her inquiries at the Medicham to try and gauge what his deal was. It would make sense for him to join up with their group if he was trying to leave this place like they were, not to mention the whole safety in numbers principle since they’d proven capable enough to handle themselves against any threats they came across. Still, if the Medicham had been hanging around in that town before Daiki had bumped into him, she wondered if maybe he’d had to fight through the guardians of the previous floors as well by himself to get to that point…
As they climbed further and further up the stairs, Fianna chanced looking back, noticing with interest how the town they had come from looked a lot bigger than it had seemed given their short trek through it. Still, she couldn’t make out any signs of Beltigre, though she supposed at this point they had most likely left the Torracat very much behind… Still, hopefully Bel would be able to find her way, though the Braixen couldn’t help but wonder what might happen to her when they finally did manage to find and defeat Darkrai… She supposed they might have to just find out for themselves. Already she could feel the air gradually growing heavier around them as they went further and further up, as if a great, dark presence was steadily growing closer with each step they took. Upon reaching the very top, the fire fox looked up to see the great mountain path that lay before them, climbing further and further upwards until it reached the peak, which radiated an incredibly dark aura that stood out against the semi-brightness of the dusk-laden sky overhead.
”This… definitely looks like a journey’s end kind of road if ever I’ve seen one…” she murmured, her gaze fixated on the peak as she pointed towards it, ”I reckon that’s where Darkrai’s waiting for us, all the way up there…” It seemed to make the most sense to her… because this definitely felt like they were finally reaching the end after all the trials they had to endure to get to this place. And if it was indeed Darkrai himself they would be facing off against when they reached that peak… well, they’d definitely have to be prepared for what would surely be their toughest fight yet. Taking a deep breath, Fianna steeled herself for the battle to surely come, giving Daiki’s hand a couple firm squeezes before gently letting her own slip away. ”Ready?” she asked as she tilted her head slightly to look up at him, prepared to start moving again once everyone else was ready to keep going】☆ ☆

Medicham glanced over his shoulder as the braixen had addressed him. "I suppose you could say that. I had to stop and rest from my previous battles." he commented, then directed his attention forward again. "He kept going on about finding a new path or something after our run in." Daiki tacked on in a mutter seething with his dislike and disbelief. The Medicham didn't seem to pay the comment any mind though.
Daiki squinted ahead as the new scenery took shape. It seemed they were near the peak of some mountain, with the sky set to dusk. This wreaked of final fight. It got the hairs on his back to prickle a bit. "i'd be more surprised if it wasn't Darkrai at the top." he commented. He looked down as the braixen squeezed his hand a bit before releasing it. "As ready as I can be, I guess." Daiki replied, following along behind her on the path.

With both Chickpea and Natu pleased with their current positions, Natu especially considering how much higher she could now see, the two fell into a sort of content silence; though this didn't mean the two didn't remain any less vigilant. The mountain path revealed before them was a bit... exciting, at least for Chickpea, and when Sir Mogwai gave him the option of walking again he eagerly took it. "I've never been on a mountain before!" he exclaimed, scuttling over to peer at an especially large rock--which, was, technically, a boulder, right?--before he shifted his attention to the path that ascended up. What sort of wonders awaited them up there? Chickpea could only guess! But whatever, or whomever, was there, he was more than ready to take them on! Him, his lucky mushroom, and his friends of course!
As curious as he was to explore, Chickpea didn't allow it to distract him from moving on ahead, and he quickly fell into line behind the rest of the team. Natu, on the other hand, didn't share Chickpea's... excitement, and she remained atop of Mogwai's head with a wary look in her eyes. Chickpea had already explained to her that they were in a dream, trapped here by Darkrai of all pokemon, but she still couldn't get over how real this all felt. It was unnerving, unnatural, and made her unwilling to explore.
