Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Riley ate her food and decided to go take a nap. The car ride had made her dizzy and tired. She walked into Eva's room and lied down on the bed. Eva finished bought what she needed and began to head to the car.

After about 15 minutes of talking to the resturant owner he managed to get a reservation for Eva and him. He had also managed to get another little surprise she might like.

Eva almost ran through the door and sat everything on the counter. She walked back to Alex. "Is she ok? Did they have to put her down? I hope you said 'no' to that part. And why didn't you call me? You were supposed to call when when you found something out!" She said really fast.

Alex blinked and looked at her. "Sorry, my phone died. Riley's fine, it was nothing serious. They gave her a shot and she's already looking better." He smiled. He was glad that he had put the phone away before she had gotten back.

Eva sighed. "What a perfect time for your phone to die." She said sarcastically. She kissed him. "Thanks, babe." She smiled and walked back in the kitchen to put some of the stuff away.

Alex nodded and let out sigh of relief. He leaned back into the couch and just let it absorb him. "So, how'd the shopping go?"

"Great." She smiled. "I met half the town. I'm sure I'll meet the rest later." She placed the orange juice and the apple juice in the fridge. "Speaking of meeting people, I met your old biology teacher. How did you end up blowing up your frog?" She laughed as she asked.

Alex laughed and scratched his neck. "Actually that was my lab partner. We finished the project early. And he decided that it would be fun to make the frog fly. So he filled it up with helium. But he couldn't turn it off and it went boom."

Eva laughed from the kitchen. "Either way you went along with it. But I got to talking to her and she said that, if I was going to fit in this town, I should get what this town seems to be obsessed over." She walked in the the living room and leaned again the door frame. Eva held up a packet of seeds and smiled. "So, I'm going to plant a garden." She chuckled. "Hey, maybe I'll win the best flowers next year at the festival that this town apparently has."

Alex nodded. "It's always possible. And it is a great way to fit in. Everyone that lives here as some kind of garden."

Eva nodded. "I was planning on planting them this weekend. I bought, roses, magnolias and daisies." She smiled at the last flower since they were her favorite.

"I'll be happy to help if you need any." Alex smiled.

She nodded. "I'm sure I'll need the help." She walked back into the kitchen and placed the seeds into the drawer. Eva walked back in the living room, done with the grocery's, and sat next to Alex. She wrapped her arms around him and took in his scent. "So what shall we do today?" She asked.

Alex smiled and kissed her lightly. He wrapped an arm around her and shrugged. "I don't know. We got a few hours to kill before I take you out though."

She thought for a moment. "We could go see a movie?" She suggested. "Or we could go visit your parents at the shop. And maybe we could tell them about me fixing up the motor cycles. I need a shop if I'm going to continue working on fixing them." She shrugged. "Maybe I could combine with them or something. It would save me time on building a shop."
