Well, it would be a problem with dogs since you have to get up to let them "head the call of nature".

lurichan Well, it would be a problem with dogs since you have to get up to let them "head the call of nature". Ooh, good idea. Lately, we've been bribing them with biscuits, and that's been working well too...

My dogs get biscuits after they do it.
See, one of them is neurotic. He has to find the absolute perfect place, and he has to be sure strangers won't see him, and he'll walk back and forth six times.
Drives us nuts.

*lol* Sounds like a pain. My cats don't really care if I see them potty. They usually make a point of doing it in front of me right after the box is cleaned out. xd

Yeah, it can be messy, but I'm not woken up at all hours by the "whimper whimper, whine whine, I"VE GOTTA PEE YOU SILLY HUMAN!!!!" of a dog.

Good point. But they get three walks, so the rest of the time, they can hold it.

I suppose that is true... I don't really like walking around in the middle of winter personally, so... that would be me shivering and wondering what is taking them so long if it were me.

I like cold, so it's not a problem.
Cats are nice, though. Cats you don't have to put on a leash and take out at six am.

I still put my cats on a leash and take them out on occasion, just not at 6am and not to potty. rofl I like to let them explore the outdoors a little, but not enough to let them be outdoor cats.

That's good. All the perks, but you can still keep them safe.

Exactly my thoughts on the matter, though I do get clawed on occasion when they get spooked by something. ^^*
