The second model is a true-scale attempt and made female just for shits and giggles. I actually find the addition of a female head and not the altering of the chest armour the best course of action. Astartes Power armour is not form fitting, so making huge tits on it seems rather pointless. Sister Armour is more like form-fitting carapace with built-in servos, hence the tits.

And what do you mean by "Chaos Marines"?

Cat ears seem like a bit of a... mutation. 'tis all.

Chaos are murderous crapheads, in the current version of 40K.
My "Cat Marines" are NOT intended as Murderous Crapheads.
If possible, i'd even define them as kinder than Space Marines .... ah, look 3 pages back, and continue reading up until now, will ya!

I don't want to "double" too much info.

This is to everyone. Remember, we are here to play nice.

Tiina, don't take the criticism so close to heart.

As a side note...Chaos is not a bunch of "murderous crapheads." You will remain unenlightened until you learn the true love of Papa Nurgle. heart

Well, essentially, there is no real "Good Guys" in 40K as it is today, except possibly Tau, but i don't like their looks. wink

I was maybe a bit misunderstood:
I don't mind people that plays Chaos Troops, i was just stating facts about how Chaos Marines act within 40K. Sorry if it came off wrong.

So, ok, Caleidah, Chaos is not a bunch of "murderous crapheads." they are far worse, ok? wink
Nurgle?
Nah, I'd prefer a Daemon Prince with both Mark of Khorne and Mark of Slaanesh(used to be strict enemies, but ok in current rules, i've heard).

Daemon Princes cannot mix marks, they can only have one. Unless you are referring to two Daemon Princes, each with their own mark.

We all know that the kindest marine chapter out there has got to be the Space Wolves! They actually care about the common citizen, even Jervis said so. blaugh

Really? And you don't think he's biased? But, ok, then any "Cat Marines" could be an obscure founding based on them .......
But i do remember hearing someone saying that Mixing Marks really was ok now .... it was possibly two years ago, though ...... am i entirely wrong?

And, here comes some more conversions:

Actually, i'd go with Salamanders for that.

2nd War for Armageddon
the Salamanders took upon themselves the essential but neglected task of protecting the supply convoys, fighting rearguard actions against the Ork advances and escorting refugee columns. So unstinting were they in these arduous but unsung duties, the Salamanders were to earn the gratitude and respect of thousands of Imperial Guardsmen and civilians. The Salamanders have become renowned as sturdy and dependable allies, a reputation which is not shared by other, more unpredictable, Chapters

3rd War for Armageddon
Of the fully twenty chapters, only the Salamanders fought for the people of Armageddon. They are even today much respected for to stand up against one of the Marines Malevolent´s captains that left civil people to die because they "hadn't time" to defend them.

And to make this post relavent to the topic, have some teeny tiny Deathstrike on an ebay'd Hydra chassis.

Nah, Jervis is one of those guys that actually did a great job at what he did for the most part.

Mixing marks is not possible on single models, meaning that a Daemon Prince can only be favored by one god or by the force that is Undivided. HOWEVER, you can freely choose models of any mark for your army and put any mark on any unit (except for Cult units). For example, a Khornite Lord can lead Thousand Sons.

The genestealer/cold one(?) hybrids are pretty nice, but again comes the suggestion of putting on a light basecoat of straight black paint (if you didn't) and using very thin layers of paint to build up to the color you want.

Caleidah:
Thank you for clearing things up.
Ok, so then it would be an Undivided Daemon Prince, that for some reason only uses Khorne & Slaanesh forces. .....

Or, more seriously "alternately distorted" Space Wolves.

I only tend to use White Basecoat, but i paint it, not spraying, especially during the winter(Apartment w balcony), it feels more practical for me.

Usually, i just "want it done", but ...... when i think of it, i used several layers of paint wash(they tend to get thick wash, or thin paint) and drybrushing and/or re-painting the scales.

Really, the dark purple("Magus-like") is really not finished painted yet, and i am still unsatisfied with the one with bonesword and shield.
The other two is truly finished ..... except for base colouring, but it was quite some time since i bothered about that.

Did anyone notice the old Hard Rock Group?
I did those as well, for a fan of them......

So, does anyone else find it humorous that in my chaos army, I have plastic dinosaurs with Jump packs. I'll let you get the joke...

Very nice work on the flame modeling. The color looks pretty uniform on it, though. Is it just the photo or do you have it blended in a gradient?

i started with Enchanted Blue, and mixed it with Bleached Bone to lighen it. the extreme hightlights are about 50/50 Enchanted Blue and Bleached Bone.
