This was Tamiya's last hurrah. She felt cold, and somehow that she had failed.

There wasn't much of a point to all of this, she thought, suffering for the art of competition. It was silly. So silly, in fact, that she couldn't quite get it to loop back around into mirth. Capriciousness should be done without question, without expectations of a prize. Or, in fact, any expectations at all. To be honest, Tamiya should have been hit by an avalanche for no reason. That would be what the Mirthful Messiahs wanted.

Though, possibly not for her to die so frivolously. Tamiya decided that she was too confident and unmoved to die here. The children would be here soon to remove her from this frozen tomb, and she would celebrate the very essence of the sport with Sinter over whipped cream and cocoa. He would bake gingerbread cookies and a large carrot cake, and they would take about the Festivities and indeed, how much success they were having. The thought of baked goods warmed her cheeks, and she smiled a weak smile.

Tamiya was resolute. With the last of her strength, she sent out a blast of chucklevoodoos to everyone in the vicinity - as far as she could reach with her mental intensity. The unpleasant nightmares would sting for a while, but her survival would be worth it. A radar of terror, sending children to save her from her delightful folly.

'Why am I torturing myself like this?' The redblood sighed. Shaking it off, she avoiding thinking any longer on those trolls. She needed to stop worrying and just do what needed to be done.

"Don't let them in, don't let them see-" This was starting to get a little too personal. It was somewhat alarming how much Cerpin felt he related to a song from a wiggler's movie. Was he really doing this? Maybe the cold was getting to his thinkpan.
