‘Five total, huh?’ Hisa counted, feeling not so out of place now, ‘I guess I’m not the only one who’s new to all this,’ she almost smiled. Hearing Rauko’s next question, Hisa felt excitement begin to bubble up inside her. She wouldn’t volunteer for something she didn’t fully understand, but the prospect of watching any type of fight was almost as energizing as participating in one. Eager to see who would step up, Hisa was finally able to focus all of her mind on the class. —Relentless— "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect— Relentless in life."

Strangely... Yuujinchou fell silent after his Sacrifice's comments. He knew what he had wanted to forget... Because he could never forget it... Or the betrayal and fear he had felt. Shaking his head and trying to clear away his memories of the past, Jin smiled softly and... yet... there was a hint of sadness to that smile. "I think I feel well enough to brave the storm, depending on where you had wanted to go." he replied, trying to steer the conversation away from any split in his personality. 'Who wouldn't want to split their mind in two after that?' he thought angrily to himself, before refocusing his full attention on Azreal. "I promise... I'm feeling much better."
Who would like to begin... What sort of question was that?! Ryoji's hand went up, mainly because he knew what he was doing as opposed, he thought, to the other rabble in the room. Of course he highly doubted his Fighter could do anything close to a note-worthy performance... and thus Ryoji simply wanted to volunteer his own personal knowledge. And if Rauko-sensei demanded to know where he had learned this... Kamiya was prepared to lie through his teeth. After all... he wasn't about to betray Him to anyone...
Laughing softly, Ginyuushijin nodded. "My pawn is ready and awaiting instructions, though... I must warn you, Verin-san... he has a tendency to act on his own. If he learns that Jin is the younger brother's Fighter... well... he may strike before the week is up." smirking, the silver-haired man looked like he was positively enjoying the idea. "Though, I assure you... your targets will never know that he has done a thing. You have my word."

Shun "We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit."
Shun nodded as he smiled. "I will certainly do my best." he said as he sighed then looked around the room hwen she answered his second question. He then saw the girl Fuki was pointing at and tilted his head. "So non-named teams don't have someone next to them like the others." He said mostly to himself as he looked aroudn the room. Mostly everyone was in a pair or group but he didn't see that girl in a group or anything. Was that how he was when he was little and didn't knwo anything about this? Is that how Kiki feels?
Shun looked at his little sister and Kiki looked back and waved; giving him a small smile. Shun smiled back then looked straight ahead when Ruako asked a question about experience. He kept his hand down since he didn't know anything at all. Kino Ketsuna "We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights"
Kino shrugged as he thought about it for a moment then shrugged again. "Either way she would be scary." He stated as he leaned back into his chair. He looked at Maki from the corner of his eye then back to Aya. This would be an interesting experiece that was for sure. He looked at Rauko when he asked for experience and raised his hand. Though he hasn't actually been in an actual battle, he still had at least the basic knowledge of teams and what not. He then looked back out the window when he put his hand down and lost himself in his own thoughts.

Ruthless This is a ruthless world and one must be ruthless to cope with it. Shuichi had stopped copying Ryouji's notes and was simply staring at his desk as if he'd forgotten what he'd been doing. He had been trying to figure out what exactly the teacher and his sacrifice were talking about, then simply lost his train of thought. His gaze drifted to his hand and soon he was staring at the bandages like he'd forgotten that he'd broken it. "Huh. . ." Was all he said and even that wasn't very loud. The pink haired student shrugged with one shoulder and let his gaze drift aimlessly over the classroom, his attention clearly not on anything. Partly because he had only the tiniest idea of what was going on and partly because copying notes was boring and he'd temporarily lost his fight with his medicine's influence. The inane grin was even back on his face.

Youko Shikara was just waking up. As she turned off her alarm, she noticed she was already late to first hour. Killing the noise, Youko climbed out of bed and took a long shower. She stared at the glass tiles that refracted her body's image. Her name was written on her thigh as well as her left palm where she had Seven Moons Artistry tattoo it there. Devoted. After her shower, she made breakfast out of leftovers. She'd have to go shopping before she came home.
Once she finished breakfast, she packed a large bento box in her bag with her books and walked over to the university. It would be almost second hour when she arrived. Since there was five minutes left of class, she decided to ditch the last five minutes and make it up later. Instead she headed to the lunchroom and pulled out a snack. "I've really got to reset that clock of mine." she muttered as she ate her apple

—Devoted— “Devoted unto death and beyond” As Japanese Lit. had dragged on, Emi had given up on concentrating on her class and now, doodled in her notebook, still worrying about Hisa. ‘Today is so not my day,’ she internally sighed, gazing out the classroom window. Watching the wind blow through the trees, Emi froze, catching a glimpse of a black haired girl who had to be a new student, enter the building. Something felt a little bit off as Emi studied her. It almost felt like she knew her, but Emi knew they had never met before. Feeling slightly edgy, she shifted her attention back to the professor giving the lecture. She didn’t even notice that Hisa’s predicament no longer preoccupied her mind.
~
‘No, six,’ Hisa corrected herself as Kino raised his hand. When Ryoji’s hand shot up in response to Rauko’s call for a volunteer, Hisa wasn’t too surprised, he seemed to be a bit cocky and overconfident in his abilities. She wondered how he’d hold up in the fight and whether he was any good. But then she remembered how Shuichi had returned injured from their escapade to the bathroom, and thought better of him. Ryoji might appear like a stuck up geek, but he obviously packed some weight to back up his airs. —Relentless— "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect— Relentless in life."

Devoted "Devoted: Until death and beyond." Youko noticed the pain in her thigh. Pain wasn't anything new to her, but this one was a bit bothersome. To distract her mind from it, she pulls out one of her advanced books and started to reread it from the beginning as she waits for the class to end, but the pain doesn't seem to edge out of her mind like normal. How was today much different from any other day? Youko couldn't place her finger on it as she flipped another page in her quantum mechanics book. "Maybe my old teacher would know something about this." she muttered to herself.

—Devoted— “Devoted unto death and beyond”
Emi could feel fear spread throughout her body as the dull ache in her thigh intensified. She knew what it meant and it made her heart feel sick. 'Please,' Emi silently implored, 'please don't let us meet.' She was sure that the black haired girl was the one who called to her name, sure that the girl was her sacrifice. And Emi desperately wished she was not her other half, just as she had always desperately wished that Hisa was her other half. Torn, she crumpled up the sheet of notes she had been attempting to take and stared out the window, wishing she had not woken up this morning.

Devoted "Until death and beyond." Youko sighed as she finished reading the first chapter in record time. She'd already read the book fifteen times already. As she finished the chapter, she set the book back into her bag as she waited for the bell. One more minute and three seconds until the bell would ring. Those sixty-three seconds seemed to drag on as the pain intensified. She couldn't understand what was causing the pain to happen now. Was her old teacher correct in saying, "It'll hurt when you're close to another half." What did that even mean...another half? How is anybody only half of themselves? She let out a sigh.
