A Hunter's Tale [ACCEPTING! IN NEED OF DARK HAND MEMBERS!]

"Right. So are we killing them or just sending them back in the opposite direction?" Lao said as he followed behind Damien. "They sound as if they just want to...you know, get something to eat, and I don't really like killing anything that doesn't deserve it." He looked at the ground for a moment and thought back on the mysterious dragon-like being that killed the cat people and clenched his fists slowly.

"Right. So are we killing them or just sending them back in the opposite direction?" Lao said as he followed behind Damien. "They sound as if they just want to...you know, get something to eat, and I don't really like killing anything that doesn't deserve it." He looked at the ground for a moment and thought back on the mysterious dragon-like being that killed the cat people and clenched his fists slowly.

"No way man. We'll just beat the sense out of them until they retreat to the other direction. One things for sure, they cannot have a feast in our city."

Damien sprints over to a nearby building and runs over to the side to the alleyway. He looks around and finds a ladder that reaches up to the roof of the building.

"Over here! It'll be a lot faster if we hop over these buildings!"

He climbs to the top and starts running and jumping over buildings.

Lao ran over to the ladder and his eyes flickered a moment. "Commence 90% output on leg muscles." He spoke in his metalic voice and his eyes returned to normal as he practically jumped over Damien and started climbing the ladder with ease. As he got on the roof, he looked down and waved to his friend. "Hey!!" He spoke in his normal voice. "Come on! I don't want to have to leave you behind."  

[Weird Wizard]

Shade stepped silently into the bar. He examined the dimly lit room, and his eyes stopped moving as he saw his target. At one end of the smoky room, was the "Black Board" He walked over to it, quickly but unhurriedly. He studied the board carefully.

"Hmm... That looks interesting..."

Whispered Shade excitedly as he saw the mission, "Wyrms Awaken". He began to read through the description.

Lao ran over to the ladder and his eyes flickered a moment. "Commence 90% output on leg muscles." He spoke in his metalic voice and his eyes returned to normal as he practically jumped over Damien and started climbing the ladder with ease. As he got on the roof, he looked down and waved to his friend. "Hey!!" He spoke in his normal voice. "Come on! I don't want to have to leave you behind."

"Oi! No fair! I'm only human! Wait up!!"

Unfortunately for Damien, he doesn't have the ability to be the fastest person around. He sprints as fast as he could, trying to keep up with his robotic new friend. He jumps over buildings with such ease, like a graceful horse jumping over a river.

After jumping over a few buildings, he over at the horizon and sees something so intense and amazing. Just miles outside the city is a family of dragons heading their way. Damien's blood boils with excitement as he draws closer and closer to the majestic and powerful beings he admires so much. He can;t wait to take them on.

"Alright, time to show them my stuff!"

Shade stepped silently into the bar. He examined the dimly lit room, and his eyes stopped moving as he saw his target. At one end of the smoky room, was the "Black Board" He walked over to it, quickly but unhurriedly. He studied the board carefully.

"Hmm... That looks interesting..."

Whispered Shade excitedly as he saw the mission, "Wyrms Awaken". He began to read through the description.

Blade, too, is quite amazed by the sight she sees just ahead. She stands on top of a tower, looking over at the city, until she draws her attention to the dragons that are coming towards the city. She counts them and realizes that she has to deal with not just a family of dragons, but a whole herd of them.

"There are.....oh wow 30 of them. I have to admit, that's a bit overwhelming for a warrior to handle. I need back up."

She takes out her cellphone and dials the Big Boss' butler. Blade tells him of the situation and didn't take a lot of time to find what she needed.

"Hmm according to my monitor, it seems that your partner has returned from his mission. He's not too far from where you are.."

"You mean....Shade? He's back?"

"Yes Blade."

"Alright I'll call him now."

Blade hangs up and immediately dials Shade's phone number. Once he answers his phone, Blade smirks.

"Well well Shade. It has been a long time. Meet me at the abandoned factory up North and help me fight these dragons. Got it?"

As Galathil flies over to the northern part of the city, he smiles. He can see hunters heading over to fight the dragons. Knowing those hunters, they will not take any chances of killing them. However, he spots a shady character on top of a tower that makes his own blood boil with excitement.

He knows who she is and what she's capable of. Claire Ashcroft, a.k.a Blade from a mysterious organization of their so-called justice doers. How does he know? He met her a few time in one of her missions before, and they were very intense missions when he's around. One thing is definately sure, she despises him to the core.

Which is why he'll sit back and watch the show, as she and probably a few of her companions slay every single dragon there is. Just in case that people might see him, he flies down to the ground and quickly hid in one of the abandoned factories.  

[Nu Alter]

Kneeling down on the rooftop of a warehouse, she watched at the faint figures making their way towards what seemed to be the home of a few dragons. Her eyes glinted faintly from the light, as a faded smirk appeared on her face,'What is it with these peace-loving 'heros'...' Leaning back as she continued on with watching the show. Feeling a faint presence of another dark hand member. She looked around, staring at the city several miles away,'Well, since Galathil is around...I think its alright to give the 'good guys' a little fun.' Sion unsheathed her katana, kneeling from the rooftop as she pushed away and leaped mid-air. Landing on a tree branch as she silently followed the others several miles away.

Shade smirked amusedly. It was good to hear from Blade again.

"Just like old times, huh Blade?"

He grinned, flashing sharp teeth that he had inherited from his dark father. He laughed and said

"Sure thing Blade, be there in a bit."

He closed his phone and set off running.

Shade smirked amusedly. It was good to hear from Blade again.

Blade hangs up her phone and looks over at the horizon. It's almost sun set, which means it'll be dark in an hour or two. She jumps off the tower and heads over to the abandoned factory, not knowing that Galathil is inside, waiting for the right opportunity to use his power over the dragons.

[Weird Wizard]

Shade burst out of the bar, running with blinding speed. He leapt into the air, and soared. He gained altitude with powerful wingbeats. He hadn't fought dragons in a while, and was up for the challenge. He smiled a cold, toothy grin as he streaked through the night sky.

Using her telekinetic power, she jumps up and on top of an abandoned factory and looks over where the dragons are suppose to be. As she predicted, the dragons will be passing by this area.

She takes out her sword and takes her stance. She's going to slay every single one of them, for the sake of the city. Blade knows that if they come any closer to the city, many people will be eaten alive.

The dragons are not so far away from Blade now. They look over and sees a person standing on top of the factory. They let out a terrifying roar and flies towards her. They thought that she's challenging them to a battle. They took a deep breathe and blew a stream of fire towards her.  

[Weird Wizard]

Shade approaches the area where the dragons were supposed to be. His eyes widened when he saw them. Their leathery wings blotted out the moonlight, and the sound of their roars were deafening. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a group of dragons swooping in for the kill. Wait that's... Blade! He decided to make a distraction. He called the power of darkness around himself. His eyes began to glow dark purple. A dragon in the rear of the attacking group gave an earsplitting roar, and began attacking his bretheren. Closer examination revealed the it's eyes glowed purple. It was trapped within the illusion of Shade's design. It's sharp claws tore into the back of the dragon approaching Blade, smashing it out of the air.

"What the...?"

She raises her eyebrow when she sees a dragon attacking its own kind, trying to kill each other with their own claws. When she looks closely to the dragon, she notices that the dragon that attacked first has glowing purple eyes. Blade knew right away who's work is that.

"Took you long enough, Shade"

Now this is her chance. Blade jumps up in the air again and tries to slash one of the dragons down, which looks confused from the skirmish between his fellow dragons. But Blade's sword is only able to scratch the scales. She was afraid of that. She lands on top of another building and looks up.

"Damn those scales..."  

[Weird Wizard]

"The tissue on the underside of the throat is unprotected!"

To emphasize his point, Shade launched himself towards the dragon that she had just attacked. He raised his sword, and plunged it viciously into the creature's neck. Black blood spurted out, and the bestial side of Shade gloried in it. He shook his head to clear it and landed beside Blade.

"See what I mean?"
