Duncan sat the car at the curb as they watched Luana enter the hotel, in a small state of shock as the engine idled. He looked in the rear view mirror at Methos, who sat in as relaxed a position as he'd ever seen him, a small smile on his lean face.

"Well, that settles that," the ancient said after a moment. "Don't move. I'm coming up."

MacLeod watched Methos climb out of the back and get in the front with him. As the door closed, the Scot pulled away, heading back to the dojo. "Are you worried?" he asked.

"Are you?" Methos countered. "One day at a time, Highlander."
