I think it's funny in a "This is so stupid, they have to be kidding" way. Their making fun of Seinfield more than MCR. MCR just got the bad luck of rhyming with what they were looking for.
If you can't laugh at something you love... then you should loosen up. I laugh at Harry Potter Spoofs all the time, but I LOVE HP.

Beloved Aurora -] Pi with an E [- What the hell is that?! Those assholes are making a mockery of MCR! Not to mention they twisted Gerard beautiful voice! Those shitholes. I think that sums it up right there. Thank you : ) I am not being sarcastic, I ACTUALLY mean that. Wow..that does kind of sum it up. I frankly never want to see that awuful thing ever again.

Yeah..it kind of did make me mad...but come on people it's Madtv what do you expect...but it is kind of an honor...if you think about it...because you got to do something like awsome to have that happen to you..it's like a lot of parodies like epic movie...fricken hilarious btw...They take the best and make fun of it...so really it is kind of a good thing...in a crazy oh so twisted way.

What's with everyone whining about them making their Gerard fat?
I mean seriously... is this some sort of indication that if Gerard was fat that you wouldn't think he was an awesome person anymore?
I'm pretty sure that I've already said that I thought the video was in bad taste and that I didn't really like it, I was never much of a fan of the show and didn't watch it very often (if at all) so apart from being out in the cold I just felt a lil' insulted... but yeah, I'm over it now, and looking at it again I reckon the guys would probably think it was pretty funny and would just be pleased that they were recognisable enough to actually get spoofed.

SO WHAT?
I seriously don't see the guys suing and let me just tell you, MadTv and such probably asked them before doing something like this.
And I bet if Gerard and everyone else saw this while on tour, they were probably laughing at it. They know they get poked fun at all the time and everything. You just can't get mad at a certain TV station for making a spoof about the band.
I've seen ALOT of parodies about the band online, and let me tell you they're WORSE than what MadTV did.
I wish everyone here who got so "offended" by this.. Just get over it.
Getting mad with something we can't control, only shows how immature we are.

[[Shes Dressed To Kill]] I thought it was funny. yeah its a little wrong on the part of them sort of bagging Gerard's weight problem he had. but seriously, its MADTV. *nods* really.... like people have said, they make fun of EVERYONE. there's probably people who put that show together/were in that spoof that like MCR even. So...yeah. I mean...if people can be okay with skits that make fun of and/or generalize ethnic and racial groups, why should we get our lacy hot pants in a wad over a little skit spoofing a song by MCR? It wasn't even just about that...they were really bagging on kramer too... so it's not like MCR was singled out. It's like a Weird Al song...but not as well thought out...lol so yeah. Hey! *lightbulb* Let's all do some yoga!!! that's fun and calming! teehee ^_^

In most cases, I thought it was strangely funny that they used My Chemical Romance of all bands to make this episode, but it seems there are people who were quite offended by it.

GRRRRRR OH FOR GODS SAKE STOP MOANING! I'm sorry but this whole topic is sillier then that video. MCR saved my life i mean i literally had a noose round my neck and stopped because of there song that was playing.
But this is a joke, as an avid comedy fan i feel i have to defend it...no its not funny but frankly thats just because the humour sucks. They arn't nocking mcr not really, its more that man from seinfeld...even the panel (and Irish topical comedy) did jokes on it, mad tv aint funny but you seem to be over reacting a tad. I doubt the guys would be insulted by crappy impersonators and an unfunny joke...and though its cruel to mock Gerards ex weight problem i think its mildly funnier that they probably only brought it up because most of the writers partners wanna sleep with him....

What the ********? Why couldnt they have done another band, or actually none at all! Gerard isnt fat, and madTV can go to hell. They are totally screwing up the point mcr is trying to give out and it wasnt funny AT ALL! They ruined my day. >.>
