you can cut TOO deep, any cut is too deep, you can even bleed from a scratch.

i used to cut myself but i quit (sounds like smoking biggrin )
i always find some reason in the day to start but i dont really want people to notice the cuts (i feel embarrassed about it)... afraid that my friends wont accept me

Well, I used to cut, then I stopped for like..5 months.
Just today I started up again.
I cut myself because of stress and sadness.

i do that twice a month

still make me depressed,

Cutting should be your last resort. I find it's just a horrible cooping technique that gives kids these days a sense of self-indulgence. Yes, I have cut, not proud of what I did but I'm not a hypocrite.

But Not anymore.
The scars really help me not to do it. Kind of a past that I never want to go back to. but There still is that urge ya know?
