Well, atleast when you tell them what you are, they know what it is. Not alot of people know Cambodia exists.

Most people mistaken me for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, basically any other Asian nationality than Vietnamese. sweatdrop

so sometimes people get it right
and sometimes theyre way off

Yeah, it's very annoying when people see you have black hair and dark eyes and automatically think, "Oh, you're Chinese."
Hello, you closed-minded people! There are more Asian races than Chinese alone!

when me and another azn friend speak hmong some of our other friends go "will u guys talk in engilsh cause we dont understand chinese xp " i get annoyed cause i've told them like a gazillion times we're hmong mad mad mad mad

I got mistaken for Japanese a few times. But I attribute that of the person's stupidity, not becaue of appearances.

I kno pplz usually mistake me for being japanese or korean when im actually chinese! It gets kinda annoying sometimes but most of the time i let it go stare stare
