Why do asians dye(highlight) their hair so much?

My hair is all natural, but it's got like blonde/orange/red in it because the sun bleached it. =p

And everyone wants my hair, because it's straight. D:

I don't do anything special to my hair, I don't put anything in it, 'cept shampoo. I either have my hair down or tied back, it's pretty much been like that since I was born.

I honestly don't knoe. : Just like every other person, why do they dye their hair? Its not just asians to be questioned that. But I agree with other people that sometimes its just to stand out.

I don't personally dye my hair anymore. I used to dye my hair like crazy when i was younger but as i got older i became really proud of my black hair. Although i think colored hair is cool in a sense that people get really into it and lol it's bright pink. I guess it's fun to express yourself.

I think that other people do it because, your hair is kinda like the way you represent your personality (at least in my school), not just colouring it, but the way you style it too.
