Anish chose to overlook this. Right now his freedom mattered more than the book, though it frustrated him to have to leave it behind. Making sure to stay inside the crowd of people the boy brought out his own wings. They flapped in agitation, unable to lift their owner from the ground as they had been clipped.

He would not touch the other but the collar. A single finger grazed it. Just like that the whole thing froze solid. With another flicker it shattered from around the others neck. Pulling his hand back a moment he placed it close to his other. The nearby shadows seemed to tuga nd pull at what he was doing. Centered between them a dark ball started to form which he then started to meld into a shape.
After a few moments the shape became clear, a collar. With a grin the not completely solid object was pressed to Drakes neck. Much like everything else it felt like ice but soon all that was left was a cool feeling. The collar melded to the dragons skin and became solid yet not chokeing. Instead it fit like a second layer of skin. "There. Now we are going to remind you of what you really are.."

Drake looked at him. "I don't like collars...I hope you don't need this to control me." he said growling a little.

He dove after the boy, his wings skilled when it came to air. His eyes narrowed as he noted the boy, his arms streching to lift him off the ground, the book wraped around in his long black tail, his eyes as bright as ever, his breath heavy and his toung running over his teeth. "I have half a mind to make you into a late night snack." He snapped at the boy as his wings moved to let him land safely on the city street but not without moving twords where the other few of his kind had been fighting. Almost losing his footing he had to arch his back to keep from falling over on the smaller boy that he claimed as his slave.

Anish drew back hurridly from the larger dragon. "I don't belong to you!" he growled, golden eyes flashing from Nefrous to the book he was holding. "Leave me alone!"

"You must think me a fool boy." He said as he looked down at him, his lips curling into a smile. "You'r not going to get away, not ever." He let a small laugh pass his lips as he took hold of one of his wings and laughed at him, his sharp teeth glinting in the light.

His eyes widened in horrified shock at this statement and tried desparately to jerk his handicapped wing away from the treasure keeper. Why was he so adament on chasing him anyway? He didn't know anything about him. In attempt to look more threatening the boy bared his teeth and snarled, flapping his free wing at Nefreous.

He snapped at him and nipped at his ear, teeth drawing small ammounts of blood as he did so, his hands now bouth firmly on bouth wings. "Don't fight me little one."

Anish looked frantically around for someone who might help him. When the teeth skimmed his ear he yelped and brought his hands up to push the older man away. "Let go!"

His eyes locked onto the other as he snarled at him, his scales pealing from skin as he let fire curl around his laws. "Do not disobey me, or I will hurt you." He snapped as he held him tighter.

"But I'm not your slave", Anish whimpered angry, but scared at the same time. "Why should I obey you?"

"Because I saved you life, you don't think I did that out of kindness do you? I needed a new helping hand around my den. There is too much gold to be counted by the few that I have." He said softly as he smirked at him.

The child scowled furiously. He shoud have known. Everything had a price. Why should this man have been any different from the others. "Then why not choose someone from the market?" he spat. Anish had always hated the markets, despising the idea that people could be bought and sold, but at the minute he didn't know what else to say. The people around them seemed not to notice his plight, being more interested in the other goings on.

"Get use to it less you would rather have someone else. I will remove it and let you be?" H elooked at the guard and thats just about all he needed to do to have Drake set free from his cage. "And no. I do not require it to control you. I can do that without such a device. Now...lets see..what should I have you do first.." Eyes danced around a moment then he spotted the guard that triggeredthe previous collar. With a kind of flick of his wrist he motioned to the guard. "Kill him."

Drake smirked. "With pleasure...and its ok to have the collar as long as you are strong enough to control me with out..weaklings are what I despise." With ease he broke free of his cage the man of course had promptly turned to run. He didn't make it very far as a shadowed appeared beneath him and sucked him down into it with a scream. "Done..he wasn't worth much energy..anything else?"
