Wow... I didn't read all the pages of this topic, but I was surprised to see some people from VIRGINIA on the first page...
I was born in NORFOLK, VIRGINIA... but grew up in HAMPTON, VIRGINIA...

from NC mostly, am now in tucson, AZ which my roommate likes to refer to as either dune or arakis... spent 4 years of my childhood in Guantanamo bay cuba (military brat)...
(would expand more but my kitty is trying valiantly to lay on the key board right. now........)

I'm sure that's a familiar scenario to lots of us cat-lovers here... lol Mine sometimes drapes herself over my right arm while I'm typing - make that trying to type... wink I've been working on getting her to lie at the side of the keyboard instead, which is mostly fine, except when she wakes up and decides to chew on a cable or two... xp

Hard to scorn her when she mews, blinks those big green eyes, and purrs like a motorboat. Yes, I'm a sucker when it comes to critters. smile
