Well, all of my friends know I love yaoi. And most of them love it as much as I do. 2 of them I know are now (because of me & my friend Hagane_No_Tenshi06) they have became yaoi observers. sweatdrop
My parents? My mom knows I like it (& I think she may like yuri more. xd ) And my dad says it's all right, although he doesn't say much about it. Me & him hardly talk anyways.

My one friend Kelsey loves looking at pictures of hot gay guys that are real (You should see her collection), but she thinks that manga and anime are stupid. One of my friends, though, loves shounen ai as much as I do. It's great, since we can talk about all of our favourite pairings and share our shounen ai manga (Her parents won't let her buy it). Also, in our anime club, I'm pretty sure all of the girls like shounen ai. I know quite a few of them are totally into it in art club, too.

Rio Ri What the deal with your friends and yaoi? Is it bad or good, do they even know? Do tell. ^_^
My three best friends, straight male friends spazzed out bad, as in ran out my room laughing their asses off yelling they had blackmail, when they came across my rather hardcore FF7 CidxVincent doujinshi. (Cid was hot in it, judge me not. XD) I like using mine to torture my straight guy friends. Sadly, they've grown an immunity... sad And by thhe way, Cid is always more haot for some reason in Doujinshi so I support your statement.

Hehe. I have a whole bunch of shonen-ai pics, and under one of them is a really hot yaoi pic. It fell and all my friends were like. HOLY CRAP THATS SO HOT! And they were guys...well, 2 of them were. It was because they were bi. It was really funny.

My one friend is like that is just gross. My other one doen't know, becasue we had a falling out, and I am not going to tell her. My sister and I love at least Harry/Draco. I don't think she was read anything outside of the Harry Potter stuff, but she doesn't care. My girlfriend and I love it a lot. She was some that I don't have, but that's okay. She has been into more than me. And as for my mom, she would kill over if she knew. And my dad, if alive, would't give a damn, just becasue I was reading, and that is inportant to him. He was cool like that. The others, well let's put it this way...I would be made fun of so much, it would hurt...literally(spelling).

Actually, my friends just found out.

friend: Hey, can I see your sketchbook?
Me: *gasp* No! It contains PERSONAL stuff!
friend#2: ninja *steals sketchbook* Aw, look, two people making out!
Me: gonk Give that back! Curse you and your abnormally long arms!
friend: Um... aren't those two guys?
Me:.... whee Yeah.
friend#3: YES! Someone person to draw me hot boy-on-boy action!

Suprislingly, all of them are fine with it. Some enjoy it with me, a few ask me to draw/write it, and some of my friends are disturbed by it.(they just say I have 'issues' xd )

OKay so all my friends are like either bi or lesbians so they're cool with it.Actually they introduced me to it.I ran with it and became addicted but they love it almost as much as I do.My boyfriend I don't even think he knows what Yaoi and shounen ai are.He isn't exactly anime literate so he has no clue what he should think about shounen ai and yaoi. sweatdrop

My three best friends are the reason I like it so much. My straight guy friend is fine with it (he made a male FFVII family on sims and paired them up ^.^) and my other friends are just amused by it,

most of my real life friends hate anime and say all of it's pereverted so i don't really mention it to them.
i have 2 real life anime fans. one's a fan too and the other likes it but isn't obsessed.
though there was this one friend i had and i satrted likeing shonei-ai lol so she called me a pervert so i delibretely went on about ryouxbakura to annoy her and also because it rules and teh she set her fake friends on me (ie. herself on different MSN accounts) and she made up this one guy who claimed he was gay and he started having a go at me and going 'your a pervert' and 'thanks for making me feel alienated'.
it was so funny. i keep meaning to email and get her to be my friend again just because she's so funny to wind up.
