Why are emo's hated?

mostly because they have never really talked to emo people and there definition of one is the stereo types they heard from their friends... and because emo's guys are the shmexyest thing on earth

Simple overview:

Preps: Don't like anybody, and why should they like emo kids?
Goths: Only like gothic culture
Metalheads: Think that it is cool to be Dark and unsensitive, so why not.
Gangsters: Well they think sex is to be performed as in porn-movies, and only like people with less brains than themselves and more muscles, so they can "protect" eachother (They got to have a real hard time getting trough the day... shame shame)
Hardcore kids: Think emo kids are a bunch of cheerleaders that needto stop crying and get a life
Punk kids: Much the same.
Emotive Hardcore kids: hate this culture SO badly because they stole their term of music.

So yeah, i can see why they act all pissed off...

were generally hated because they think we cut for attention. they can never understand us, and want to be unique. the way we say things is different our look on life is different and they want it to be them. but they dont wanna be emo all they want if all the fuking attention.

listening to bright eyes and reading this made me cry crying . I'm pretty much the only emo (and gay) person in my school so all the preppy girls like me. and that makes all the preppy guys have to like me cause then the girls get pissed at them. But that doesnt mean i have to like them right?

i think some people dont like emo people because they dontlike anything that ist what they are... but most people i know will accepct almost anyone...

Emo's are hated for one reason and one only..at least in my opinion. I think emos are hated because like always people fear what they do not understand. If they can't analyze something to fit into their world.. they fear it. When they fear it, they hate it, shun it, mock, you name it. If people people would even bother to understand the Emo lifestyle, culture, whatever it may be.. then they wouldn't be afraid and Emo's wouldn't be hated. emo It's the truth really. Like I said in the end people fear what they do not know.. and they hate what they fear.
