She slowly let the snow stop part way through the fight. Though since she was outside bare foot and almost topless she was starting to shiver harder. Everything started to blend in together. The fairy trying to talk to her, the crunch of bones, the chattering of her teeth as she was cold. When Viktor started to walk towards her, she fell onto her knees. Clearly she had not moved a muscle in her legs for a good few minutes; only to stiffen up to much. Her arms barely managed to hug herself as her body shivered more.


Anya stayed inside with the guys still and waited on the news. Of course Ryan stayed at the door and watched. He had been told by Zina about a guy who was some what of a strong shapeshifter; who protected her. He watched curiously though he wanted to get her out of the cold elements before it got to bad for her health. Yet he also did not want to piss off this creature.

When he got to her he started to sniff around at her with his nose was right in her face as he checked up on her. When he was sure that she wasn't injured he looked towards her friend seeing the male that was looking at them from the door. "Come and get her inside now. And in some decent clothes that actually cover her. I know that she is a Siren but this cold can't be good for her health." After he said that he stayed near her and waited for them to come and get her. Though once they had brought her inside he followed them in not caring if he was invited or not. Looking around he eventually found a large enough space in this place to go and lay down.

She stiffened up with Viktor sniffing her face. Only to let Ryan pick her up after he said something. Once she was inside Anya ran over to her and hugged her. Zina was emotionally shocked again but also freezing. Soon enough they got her in three layers of tops and put her in a pair of socks. Anya had started to rub Zina's cold feet through the socks. Anya asked the guys to go get hot water going for some tea. Ryan gone and did that as Simon kept an eye on the door.


Anya watched as Ryan started to slowly crack the door open. Once Ryan got Zina in she hugged her friend. Before piling clothes on her. Now she took care of her friends feet. As Ryan made the tea she would glance at Viktor but said nothing else. Of course Zina happily took the tea and just held the cup close. It was lavender tea and had a hint of honey. Slowly heat spread through Zina before suggesting she took a warm shower in one of the changing rooms.

As he was sitting there he never said anything only watching them go about their business. Eventually he laid his head down and closed his eyes but wasn't going to sleep. After awhile he spoke up to them from his spot in a tired voice. "There is no need to keep your eyes on the door. I do not sense any other danger in the area and with me here you are all safe. No harm will come to you as long as I'm here and I will be here for as long as she Zina is here." As he told them that he kept his eyes closed choosing to get as much rest as he could right now and let them try to calm down after everything that happened to them right now.

Eventually she gone a head and took a warm shower with a chair. After a good twenty minutes or so. She came out in another change of clean clothes. Now she cuddled up to Anya in a sisterly manner. Before she dozed off in her hold. Of course Anya was humming and rubbing Zina's hair.


Anya glanced at Viktor and nodded. But Simon was still unsure though he did turn his attention back to his friends. Of course he watched Zina cuddle up to Anya. He grabbed a blanket and draped it over them. Before he sat down and did not know what to do now. Though after a short while Zina stirred and woke up. Anya was barely awake at that point.

He was glad that it all seemed to have calmed down now and they had gotten a little better. Though he eventually got board and found himself staring at Simon after he had draped the blanket over the girls. With a confused tilt of his head he asked, "Are you by chance mates with one of them?" As he asked him that there was no change in his voice whatsoever. Sniffing the air in the direction of the women he was trying to find out if Simon's scent was strongly on one for them.

She was waking up and rubbing her eyes hearing this question. Only to listen to the guys reactions. Ryan shook his head and glanced at Zina,"No, she's a bit picky of her guys. Not to mention, I don't think we'd really work out." he said. Only for Simon to see Anya finally pass out. Now Simon looked at Viktor,"No, Anya and I are just friends. The three of us have known each other from like childhood. Zina came into our lives when we were in high school.", Simon said. Before he noticed Zina shifted and noticed she was awake.

Ryan did not react to Zina getting up and head to the only bathroom. He just sat by the pool at this point. Though Zina did make sure to cover Anya back up with the blanket.

Hearing their response he became more confused. Looking back over to the girls then back at them. "If you are not mates why are you so close and caring of one another? It does not make much sense to be that kind to something that isn't your mate." He meant no disrespect as he said this but he was not sure how other interacted and wanted to figure this out. Though as he spoke his voice never changed from that of a tried person needing sleep.

She took her time in the bathroom and started to brush her hair a bit. Only to come out still brushing her hair. Now she listened to Simon explain their group. "We care about each other cause there's not many others around in our age group. I'll just say this, Zina can't stand her cousins. Ryan and I are third cousins, but raised as brothers. And Anya, well she had the more stable life out of all of us." he said. Only for Zina to sit down and keep brushing her hair. Finally she started to braid it into an over the shoulder braid.

Ryan nodded at the cousin bit, since both of their parents were crappy. So they were raised by their Gran'parents.

As they were talking he was making sure to remember information about Zina. Thinking that it would be best to know as much about her so he can better protect her. Once they had finished talking though he laid his head back down and closed his eyes to relax a bit more but now falling asleep. Not thinking that there was really anything else that he needed to know for right now and believing that it would be best not to dig deeper since he just meet these people.

Soon enough Zina started to thaw some steaks that had been in an deep freeze in a small side room. Of course she was getting tired and hungry. But the guys knew not to take over until she said to. In her mind she started to see Viktor as a warden or sorts.

Ryan talked with Simon about video games as Zina did her thing.

As he laid there he was still listening to everything around himself and them. He didn't think that they were going to get attacked again since it took awhile for the Malk to show up after the first incident. But he knew how tricky Winter Court Fey could be so he chose to be absolutely sure about what was in the area. Though he was mostly paying attention for an aura that he knew shouldn't be there so he wasn't listening all that much to everyone's conversations.

Finally she put headphones on as it was attached to an MP3 player. After about twenty minutes she finally relaxed enough to even just hum. Now as she cooked the meat, she seasoned them with salt and pepper.

The guys kept talking as Anyw slept.

While he was listening for anything weird he heard her start to hum. Slowly getting up he moved into the kitchen. Though he did soon notice that he took up a lot of room and would probably make a mess if he moved around to much. So in order to move but not knock anything over he turned into a Tibetan Mastiff. When he got into the kitchen he just sat down and watched her work and listen to her humming.

She soon enough felt a gaze on her and glanced at Viktor. Only to roll her eyes at him. As the meat kept grilling she added corn on the cob. Of course she made enough for all of them; including her new shadow. A thought suddenly hit her and she could not help but start giggling for a few minutes.

The guys noticed Viktor move to the kitchen. But said nothing much as they just kept talking.
