The entire scene around the woman, gave Sei more than enough cause to pinch her nose in raw annoyance. She hated being in confined spaces with multiple people she didn't know. It made it hard for her to keep track of things and she truly did not trust these people. They were way too eager to accept their help. Why? Surely it couldnt be just to protect their people. Then there was the entire thing with the girl coming out of the vent and Sumire's reaction. Letting out a sigh she spoke clearly and intentionally loud enough for the Kage and Sadayo to hear,"Relax Sumire. Any assassin who is a threat wouldn't use that method." Her eyes glancing to said woman as she continued,"There is no way out that doesn't either place her directly in the kage's path, or require her to go through the building. Secondly if the kage wanted us dead she would have made her move already. Which means vent girl is not a threat just an idiot who is wasting our time." Clearly the woman was getting agitated at this point. Facing Ranmaru she returned his look with a nod,"As my friend here said. I do not mind sharing what I know and I do not mind escorting your shinobi. But knowledge and work are never free. IF hes fine with me leaving him unprotected that is."

Once she had regained her composure she made her way to what she assumed was a receptionist,"While my partners and I are state guests here we will need a place to stay. I'll also request clearance to hunt game in your territory, and to bounty hunt." Giving a glance to the hooded person next to her she did not say a word, just examined him the best she could. It was a good explanation. Seemed like the line between animals and humans were greying. Takeda was curious about what kind of structure could have given sentience to a roaming tiger but that was a question for another day. He still needed to get started on his training and get himself set up in one of the Inns around town. "Morbus? What a name. His behavior was fine." He spoke with a tone that betrayed nothing. It was almost completely nonchalant save for the barest tint of lightheartedness. "I think it's important to build a rapport with the village if I'll be working in it. My name is Takeda. I was a shinobi with Kirigakure a long, long time ago. Not anymore. The young jiongu held up the training badge to get a better look at it. Such a simple thing would allow him to have an affiliation with Konoha, even if it was hardly worth mentioning in comparison to the benefits afforded an actual shinobi.
A girl showed up then. Dark hair with an outfit that probably afforded her a lot of mobility and freedom in her actions. The ears reminded him of Shadow, but her business wasn't his own. She was in a similar situation to his own. Needed a place to stay and access to work. He'd have to make sure to jump on any bounties that popped up as soon as he could if he didn't want them snatched from right under his nose. "Well, I'm headed off. Thanks. Suppose I won't need to keep a low profile anymore." With that, he rose his hands to the hood of his travel cloak and took it off. Pale red eyes were revealed along with a long mess of black and white hair that could probably use a trim. He had strong features and a good complexion but there was something not quite right about him. There was a weakness of sort present on his features.
Waving to those in the room, he turned around and made his way towards the dojo with training badge in hand.

"Oh was he now? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. I shall have to pass on your commendations." Indeed it was a rare thing for Morbus to show any amount of kindness to the strangers, and this after Gado had worked for ages trying to teach the walking corpse some semblance of manners. With only the utmost properness the tiger man waved goodbye to the delightful company of Takeda, and coincidentally, the woman who just as soon as left as she did drop off a bag of what appeared to be ryo. All before Gado could properly greet the young mistress. After a minor huff of annoyance the tiger casually placed the bag on his person so that he might give it to Lahlil at a later date.
Which this day must have been the time for coincidences because nought because nought even before the other two had fully left out the door was there another young woman whom Gado could not for the life of him recall having slipped past him into the office. Perhaps it Is time to get my spectacles checked."Ah yes, I believed I just answered a young man who held a similar questions as yours. Whatever ryo you make while working in service to the village may be kept as part of your earning. After a few minutes of hobbling through the village and getting laughed at later, Noud came through the door to the office waiting room. From what he could see out of the corner of his eye there was a number of shadows all moving behind the glass of the door. "Damn, it looks like Lahlil is busy. Well I guess we just talk to stripes till for it then. ISN'T THAT RIGHT STRIPS?" The captain's boisterous tone was raise even higher in an obvious attempt to get a raise out of the usual prime and proper secretary. With a clear disregard for the line a head of him Noud continued. "I'm gonna need two headbands for the kids behind him. I just graduated them to genin."

tab Lahlil's clone came running out of a different part of the office before Gado even got a chance to reply. Her apologetic hand wave was her way of saying 'I'll deal with this sorry' even as she took a step towards the children. One whom she recognized as little Mariko, her bubbly happiness seemed a bit dim but no worse for the wear. The other on the other hand was one she didn't expect at all, the young girl she had meet at the gates. Instantly a sadness overtook her expression as she was reminded of the news she would have to break. Honestly she was hoping to have more time so that she could choose the right words to say, as if there some magical response that she could come up with to completely ease the pain. "Oh, Komo.."

She nearly barreled in to the strange looking pirate man on the way down the hall, and all he got was a tongue stuck out and a 'Nyaaaahhh' like it was his fault she almost ran in to him before she disappeared around a corner.

Komoriuta's heart sank. Her dad...? No more hugs? No more laughter? No more his five o'clock shadow buried her into her neck to make her laugh because it was stupidly ticklish? Her mom? No more scolding? No more warm hugs and forehead kisses? No more grandma to sneak sweets to her when her mother wasn't looking and her uncle giving thumbs up as he ate a sweet himself? Mariko followed behind Noud and Komoruita, keeping up as much as she could despite her focus being on the massive building they walked into. For as long as she could remember, Mariko had always been curious about what this interesting structure held within it, and now she was able to see it all.
What she wasn't expecting to see, was a classy tiger outside of the office. Staring in awe at the beast, the girl could only manage a friendly wave in his direction. Tempted to run up and pet 'Stripes', as Noud called them, Komo's sudden outburst quickly tossed that thought into the background. A shoe was tossed, much quicker than Mariko could react, and regardless of its negligible damage, it was the intent behind it that caused Mariko's face to redden with anger. Komoruita's way of expressing endearment was definitely out of the ordinary, but she could tell the difference this time, which was further confirmed by Komo's following words. She didn't consider herself a Genin of the Leaf, nor did she want to. Mariko didn't understand why... the two had already been through so much together.
Had it not been for Lahlil's approach, Mariko certainly would have a few words for her new friend who needed a couple anger management classes. Immediately, her mood perked back up, happy to see Lahlil again after all of the scary things she has experienced since their genjutsu lesson. Mariko wanted to tell Lahlil about it all: the pumpkin, the swamp, the scary witch, and how the three of them stuffed her into the oven and got away. Unfortunately, such stories would have to wait. The gloom present in Lahlil's voice transformed the once happy and bubbly mood of Mariko's into confusion. Whatever news she had for Komoruita had upset her, and with another outburst, she ran out of the building. Mariko frantically looked to both Lahlil and Noud, then towards the exit where Komoruita was heading, running after her. "K-Komo! Wait!"[ Exit, if Komoruita does. ]

Secret places would pack fewer surprises. Like the toddler hopping out from under the table. Her toddler. Caught her by surprise, really. However the fleeing flight of her bouncing bundle of energy left her in a combination of surprise, disappointment (that she would run away) and feeling suddenly exhausted. Someone lost track of her. Sadayo sighed, passed a defeated look at Lahlil, and created an additional clone. The salamander was having a delightful time, all the while, and waggled its little tongue. Sadayo gave the little creature one, long look and shooed at her clone and shook off her leash. The clone wordlessly collected Makara and left. Let's go, Pinky."

tab Lahlil pressed her lips together while listening to Ranmaru speak further of the Yokai. The misty hellhounds summoned from a sickly looking smoke did not miss her eye, however she refrained from commenting on it for the moment for need of the greater matter at hand. No sense in throwing out suspicions that she didn't know where true yet. Her face now fully recovered from the numerous shocks and disturbances it was good for the Hokage to see one that was at least a little welcome, Karuto. Come strolling into her office in the usual way. Throwing him a smile before being forced to return to duties, Lahlil casually preformed a small summoning. The little yelps a youngling bat squeaked from on top of her desk which earned it a few loving head scratched from the vampiric matron who perceived his screeches for what they really were. A baby-ish voice exclaiming excitedly, 'Mum! I missed you!'
Writing and then rolling up a message for the little creature to carry off, Lahlil sent her child off to flutter his way through the same way that Clem and managed to squeeze her way through. "Less of a vent and more of my way to send messages if I need." She spoke quietly and to no one in particular. "Now I can sense our time here is coming to a close, so please allow me to have temporary lodging made available to you. I should hate allow you to be sent off only to become ambushed by the threat right outside my doorstep. I'm sure you've already meet my secretary Gado, yes? I shall have him personally escort you." With a practiced care the Kage retrieved another one of her writing scrolls that she so commonly used for her funinjutsu, pretending to write in it before touching her quill to her lips in thought. "Oh! Sumire, is it? Don't worry I'm not mad or anything. Honestly I'm just I'm more curious if anything. The only thing even remotely close to that I can compare your abilities to is those of the futton release whose mist is capable of melting most anything it touches. Does yours operate on a similar basis I wonder?" Her tone was nothing was nothing but that of sweet, innocent, curiosity. A distraction from her hand under her desk which was making a signal to Karuto while he lay just a few paces away. Tyr walked through the streets of the placed that he now called home, though he wasn’t from the Land of Fire; he took a lot of pride from simply being there. As he walked through, he took in the sights and sounds of the life that he once had... just a simple civilian. Though they lived a simple life (most of them), the imminent danger that was lurking outside fo the Gates was all too real for them. There was nothing more then to serve the village that allowed his family to live here; it was the least that he could do. He loved it here, through this wasn’t the Konoha that he heard about when he was a kid... there was a magic here for him that he wouldn’t deny himself. As he walked around the village, he made sure to walk the border of the Village himself and take mental note of the streets that led to them and the people nearby. The first thing that he wanted to do was to take in the build and layout of the general village.
He knew that Hokage-same was taking care of the village and its defenses, if the time came; he wanted to do the same. There were various dents on one side of the wall, possibly from the past. He continued his walk until it led him past the Hokages Office, though he had already stopped by in the past; he wanted to make sure that she knew his name... he looked up to her and her selflessness in becoming the Hokage. Tyr assumed that it was a thankless job with not a lot of benefits besides diverting the village from a crisis; but at the end of the day... the village stood cause of her. He was always taught that the one things that you should respect over all else is power. His father though wasn’t a shinobi, respected them too. As he took his slow walk to the offices, everything was coming into perspective. The world around him was going to change the minute that he was allowed to study. Tyr was always the diligent student and couldn’t wait to learn more. Even before he reached the top of the stairs, he could hear the voices of several people. Though he wanted to chak in with her... he knew that it sounded more serious then a new guy coming to say ’Hi’. He decided that it would be best to occupy himself with other things then bothering her.
He ascended back down the stairs and out of the offices, for a moment he looked around and thought to himself ’ What could it hurt?’. He started his walk to the Academy, he wanted to take on this mantle of a shinobi and he was excited. He had some learning to do and would try to catch up with the Hokage at another time.

Ranmaru bowed his head politely as the Hokage offered them logging. "A welcomed reprieve from our travels will be appreciated." He said as he stood. A curious gaze befell Lalhil as the woman had summoned a bat out of nowhere. While sages were not common in Zaishin, it was known of a few brave warriors who traversed past the mountains toward the sage lands. As it was only expected that the strongest could make the journey and return, the power presented itself awakened to Ranmaru that the kage here had to be at least of the same power as the former ninja in charge of the Mahofu, since she too was a summoner. "Might I ask before we depart that I borrow one of your scrolls? As a scholar I should be able to utilize the message to send word back to our people." He said politely. If the message had to be monitored by her people for security reasons then it did not matter much for him. The village was going to handle the yokai with Seichiro, and with that the issue was resolved as far as his mind went.
He had known Lahlil much longer than most people. He had known Lahlil much closer than most, some would say all, people. So, when she made a slight motion under her desk, Karuto recognized it for what it was. Back when they first got together, she had used the same motion during many council meetings they both attended. It was essentially short hand for: 'lock the door after everyone leaves because this meeting has exhausted me and I need a hunk of Raiken right now.' Yet it was usually accompanied by a quick glance or a secretive smile. Neither of those things happened this time. So, he surmised, she wanted him to block the exit, presumably due to this odd dress-wearing fellow, but not go ahead and start limbering up for the usual post-meeting activity. Sad, but curious, Karuto stood up from his seat and went to lean against the only door out of the room, crossing his arms and doing his best to look casual.
If this man wanted to force his way past Karuto Raiken and into the hallway, he was welcome to try.

Sadayo had mentioned to Sei and Ranmaru to give her a few hours and then she would be ready. Such a shame. She was ready to rest. Alas, when was the last time she rested?
Her hand flinched as she remembered a memory that came and went by just as fast. Hearing that next time they should do this in her office so there would be fewer distractions and that could help put Sumire's mind at ease but not so much. Just like the Hokage's office which could be full of traps and she wouldn't even know it, this golden-hued woman office could just be as dangerous. Then she made a clone, took the lizard and they went off somewhere. That only left few. She went back into Seiza position on the floor, by the teacart. Ranmaru, the massive guy on the couch, Lahlil, Sadayo and herself. The Hokage did a bit of summoning and she couldn't help but to melt slightly before straighten up and was tense again. Sumire adored animals and her father was brutal to her about it so she does her best to not show affection to animals anymore. Especially to horses.
Or any living beings for that matter. The Hokage had offered them temporary lodging as she was confused for a bit. Well. She suppose she could bathe and take a small nap. Or should she go explore Konoha a bit? Hmm. Gado? Was it the odd tiger stripe man? Then she jumped in surprise when her name was called out. She thought she was forgotten to the Hokage as their eye contact was met. Pink jewels right to her purple hues. With that, she fidgeted with her fingers a bit. Wondering if she should really explain her bloodline or not. Ranmaru had spoke so she waited her turn. She knew better than to overspeak a male. He requested for paper. While he was requesting for a scroll, the massive man had got up and turned to the door, assuming that he was leaving... until he blocked the door. Her nerves and muscles flared up as she was at the ball of her foot, her fingertips touching the floor and ready to move at a moment's notice.
What was going on? With aggression and calm demeanor, the purple hues of hers were met with Lahlil once again, almost as if demanding for the woman to explain herself.

Taking in a deep breathe she couldn't help but let the sensation wash over her body, her fangs usually hidden while speaking now freely on display as she roused from her seated position. Casually, Lahlil handed a scroll off to Ranmaru but made no eye contact with him. Instead her brilliant pink continued to bored a drill through Sumire's person, like they weren't looking at her but rather through her. This wasn't like her at all, to lose control in front of Karuto? After she had been so careful for so long? More and more she found herself not wanting to be careful anymore. She had been through enough of it with Ferrah and the hound was straining against it's leash. Baying violently for blood. "Oh, my dear. I hope that your body doesn't speak for your actions." Indeed acting defensive now wasn't an admission of guilt, but Lahlil was more than ready to put their 'innocence' to the test. In fact she was hoping for it. "You're probably confused. Please allow me to fill you in." She said now speaking to Ranmaru though her body did not change from it's aggressive posture. "Not long before you came here there was an attack right outside my gates. A young girl's parents were found dead, their bodies rotted away after a personal investigation by myself. Now I will admit it is possible that everything you've told me here is truth. Maybe my Juei agents were fooled into thinking these 'Yokai' were human somehow and this is the first sign of their attack. Or.." Lahlil's pleasant smile u until this moment shifted into something much more sinister. "Everything you've told me up until this point was a lie and that your group is responsible for this. To be clear this PA makes it so that as long as she has the activation and resources to do so, Lahlil can simultaneously cast another fuunin with flying thunder god or the fuunin shuushin.
