As the fight between the two brutes continued the air subtly began to shift into an ominous breeze. As if there was some great beast who had been dreaming but whose soft screams brought corruption to the very surroundings themselves. To any who took the time to look, would notice that these poisonous premonitions were echoing form Cassandra, whose eyes had long since fell into the back of her head as the ritual took her over body and spirit. Like a nightmare voodoo doll her body convulsed and twisted itself into a number of contorted positions that would break a normal human’s bones, while in front of he stood an ebony portal slowly tearing itself into existence. It’s glossy surface shimmered in the same way a lake did on a cold summer night.
When it was clear how close she was to getting the portal under control the snake goliath abandoned both his attack and clones to die in Zahra explosion. In a step so quick that it left an afterimage the snake man reappeared behind the woman with a mighty roar. Body still consumed by her casting she had no chance to defend herself as in a single move, the man gripped her head in a single massive hand and torn it right from her body. Blood and torn skin hung loosely all around her neck, her eyes staring dead at the ground showed that for at least a few seconds she hadn’t had the comfort of the ritual to block out the pain.
Before her body had even hit the ground however, a moment of eerie silence overtook the clearing where not even the animals dared to break. Like the clam heralding the storm, the portal that now no longer had the sorceress attending it grew wildly out of control. Growing to the size of an elephant, a pulse of gravitational chakra washed over the surrounding zone to devour all into it’s maw.

A puppet’s rattling was probably just the thing to give away Sadayo’s presence in this case and a good idea on her part, perhaps. As for the puppeteer herself, she often wondered if being a noise maker was far from being her strong suit. ”I had a feeling there was something on your mind. I did have the chance to review a couple things in the meantime. Think nothing of any delay.” Truthfully just “a couple things” was an understatement and Sadayo was far from sharing the nature of the understatement and let someone else hear just how potentially under-trained an Ex-Sand elite was and has been for the past five years. About everything Lahlil had to say was news to Sadayo. With mention of the rogue Sadayo sighs and shifts her stare to the ground before bringing her gaze back to meet Lahlil’s sights. ” Hmm. Then we gathered up some nasty tag-along’s. I’ll bear that in mind. With mention of the phrase professional touch then Sadayo’s cold sober expression began to waver slightly into something away from any serious frowns. She was fighting the makings of a smile. Flattery, which oddly has this “magic touch” about Sadayo, didn’t come often and this curling smile on her face was prime with gratitude toward Lahlil’s comment. ”I like to think professional goes in hand with being responsible.” The help Sadayo had hoped for was answered
As Lahlil did Sadayo follows and together close in on the gap between them. She leans inward too with a good tilt of her head enough to sweep her puffy ponytail trio forward and on her shoulders. Gishin's rattle had diminished to an infrequent trickle of ticks and tocks throughout its body just soft enough to deter and tease the most nosy of eavesdroppers.
Sadayo shortly learns Lahlil has been spreading herself, through the course of the conversation, and this plum tuckered clone was enough to suggest she may have been carrying a good deal of tasks on her shoulders. As a person who values the handiness of hollow helpers the thought of carrying near, every task on one single entity and dividing herself as temporary clones was one to stir a squirming frown. The words on her tongue behind a veil of one obvious, concerned emotion. Nonetheless, there was work to be done and the Clone Lahlil can forge on until her last ounce of energy and, with good timing, someone or something else step in.
”The east?” Sadayo says with a rise of her head. Ponytails bounce back into place. ”I understand. I'll do what I can and give you the extra pair of hands you need to take care of this." Some perks came in handy with vagueness and Sadayo’s secretive nature. These two traits can pair well together to if used with care and might weed out the wrong person learning the wrong thing. Sadayo couldn't say she knew who Lahlil trusts, however. At this point this task was leaning away from Lahlil’s judgement and falling into Sadayo’s hands to find the right people. By now, it wouldn’t be the most stirring of surprises if the Lahlil clone ends up puffing out into dust before whatever exit she may have made. The puppeteer even spoke up about her lingering concern for Lahlil’s workload running clones ragged: ”take care of yourself.”
Meanwhile, the Gishin puppet still rattles and flutters in an absent dance against the forest breeze. Sadayo could be seen counting on one hand. Me. Yu, Ni, Gi, and Sen. Hohemi’s still got those bugs to work out. A front runner would be good. ”None of them talk, though. I need eyes.” The reality was she needed real help and real forces to lead.
”Even one will do.” She began idly rubbing her fingers together until volcanic soot was seen falling off the hand of her glove. A look at the mindless puppet she had busy at work (entertaining her) a very important thought came to mind: If only that one I need can take an order…

The genin sighed at his sister's attempted banter and walked off into the forest after the girl he had met, but the scenery that awaited Lohner was far from expectations. His hand immediately reached for the case at his hip. He wheeled just in time to see Zahara's conflict with the snake-like man begin and watched as the fellow Uzu/Kono nin skated through the snake clone, only to be met with a multitudinous assualt. Zahara brushed it off with ease and Lohner drew one of his blades, ultimately, he was too late to this fight, as within moments of the burst, something far more wicked began.
Lohner sensed it far more so than he first felt it, a sense of hostility that gained traction in the snake, then suddenly moved away from them, the malice grew, and then a source of chakra faded in the near distance, and a far more perverse one expanded exponentially.
"What in the..." Was all that Lohner could utter before he felt the pull of the portal and his eyes wheeled to Zahara and then to it.
As the gravity of the situation began to sink in Lohner shouted to Zahara.
"Who the ******** is he, and what did you do to piss him off?"
You know, this whole crowd thing was starting to catch on. Usagi would be lying if she were to say that there wasn't any initial anxiety about what she was doing, especially given the trouble she could cause for herself should she get discovered, but the thrill of adventure would always outweigh any and all negatives that could possibly arise. Speaking of crowds, Usagi was making her way through one. She wasn't really doing anything in particular, just people watching. You know... try and see what else she could do with her time among the people. She'd make several laps around the makeshift camp site that made up the village before some new audible delight caught her attention. The soft, subtle clacking of something... wood? Clay? Maybe a mixture of the two in some fashion? Whatever it was, the clattering sent Usagi's ears into a twitching hit beneath her hood.
Ducking out from the crowd, the curious little girl would vanish behind a tent only to reemerge as the inconspicuous rabbit. With her disguise in place, Usagi made her way across the camp site in the direction of the clattering sound, taking cover behind boxes and rubble where she could to lessen the attention. After a few short minutes, she stood face to face with a grimly fascinating sight. Before her stood a woman, really no different than the others who populated the village, but it was the thing next to her that really drew the rabbit's eye. A ghastly, white specter loomed just over her shoulder, ominously floating as if standing guard. Every bit of the creature resembled a living being, but it was clearly made of artificial materials. Enthralled by the puppet, Usagi hopped out of her cover, occasionally stopping to stand upright and get a better view, before ultimately coming to a halt almost directly beneath the artificial ghost.
No... Time began to slow in his mind as realization set in as another he strived to improve himself with was lost. His mental world state began to fracture once more, the never-ending ankle-deep sea in a deep abyss rose to chest high. The lights that made up the stars, the flames that lit his path in the void receded with internalized screaming. Zahara was stunned as he came out of his spin, rotational chakra still settling around before it faded. His ivory eyes saw the scene play much faster than he could see in his physical field of view, having had to rely on his extended peripheral of his byakugan. The old woman, Kassandra, was in no good state and even worse he had no chance to react to keep up with what came to happen.
The chakra levels of the air were increasingly foul and malevolent, literal shifts of the same chakra type he had seen that night of the blood moon. Now here it infested the woman he was helping and had been helped by, all over the scroll he fetched for unknown reasons except to only learn recently of its intention as a centerpiece of a greater scheme. He ran when he saw the woman bending the fabric of space, the ground contorted along with her body from this unholy ritual. Concern was his only emotion as the abomination escaped his death yet again but Zahara seen him move and anticipated... he picked up the wiggling shark skin as it chirped, squeaked and flopped about at all the chakra swelling within its body as it ate what it could.
"Stop! What the hell are you doing!?" Zahara yelled as an umbra mass grew out like the darkest of oils, the foul chakra a pain to even settle his eyes on even with the Byakugan. His words fell upon deaf ears as the culmination of the strange mass roared with an intensity for a moment as the chakra deepened in color as he could sense within the pool that it was... Deep. Foul. Yet strangely familiar as he ran but a pulse of chakra pushed out as the sphere grew in size, twisting the ground and pushing Zahara back as he dug the sharkinskin into the ground, anchoring himself with the blade and with chakra through his feet. She was being contorted, twisted and her chakra was fading rapidly from his sight, yet control was coming over the mass.
The abomination flicked into view, a creature that did not belong in this world, gripped the elder woman's head and pulled. The lights dimmed, world fracturing more as the inner sea rose more. The paths of flame wicked out, only one remained and flared with his emotion. The amassing portal grew as the elder woman was torn from the shoulders up, her chakra signature extinguished as a doused flame in the monochromatic view of the byakugan. Now the mass of umbral energy amassed to much larger than it had been before as a great pressure swelled in the air, the ground fracturing as rocks rolled and tumbled toward the growing mass. But Zahara was stunned as he gripped the massive sentient blade that rested on his shoulder, struggling to fight against the increasing pull and withstand the strain of the chakra blinding his byakugan sight.
'I... Failed another one.' Zahara was loss for words as he didn't see head or tail nor scale of the abomination, lost he was to his sight as the mass of dense chakra grew rapidly. Samehade chirped excitedly despite Zahara's mess of emotion swirling within him as something else appeared, or someone. The blade quivered with excitement even under a dire situation like this as it only had the animalistic desire to consume ALL the chakra.
Zahara blinked at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, his Byakugan was deactivated as he stuck the samehade into the ground again as the maw of ebony pulled... tugged... He looked back at the stranger with the identifying marks of one of the village shinobi, a headband. 'There are others after all...?' He knew the others vacated, but he didn't know how. He snapped back to reality as he couldn't answer the man's question as the only instinctual reply he could muster up was "You have to run, it is not safe!"
As Zahara said this, he would wheel back around as the massive shark skinned blade swelled to the touch, the pull of the anomaly too strong now for him to remain anchored to the ground with chakra. The only thing left to do was a careening crash course as he bellowed at the top of his lungs as he was pulled toward the swirling mass, the bystander that was the uzu shinobi potentially collateral to this thickening mess. Whatever this mass was, it now had an angry half blood screaming an obscenity with a chittering blade shivering like a school girl overcome by excitement.
Not Safe gross understatement of the year, but as Lohner saw it, now there were at least two Whirlpool shinobi to fight whatever force this was. Things were ripped and torn from the ground, trees uprooted and swallowed whole in the vicinity of the black chakra portal. The Uzumaki quickly assessed the nature of the mass, it drew things in, but it didn't pulverize them they weren't liquified or strung out. This had to be some uncontrolled rift, like the one Masato had used to transport Uzushiogakure's residents.
"Whatever or whoever's doing this, we're not stopping them by holding on from this side. I don't know who you are, but you're Uzushii, I'll see you on the other side." Lohner called over the sounds of debris and general chaos.
The Genin threw his arm back and with a gesture a three formed wooden shield began to grow from his forearm. As it broke loose he took hold of it and looked to the portal and his ally once more. His sword drawn from sheath there was only one path forward now.

As he let go of the tree he had used for anchor, Lohner threw himself headlong at the portal. He balked at the size of it as he drew near, but steeled himself for the village and his siblings. If it were a sacrifice, let it not be in vain. He began to focus chakra into his left arm, behind the shield he had formed and around it. The familiar taste of his chakra settled his mind.

As his feet touched the ground, he shuffled on the balls of his feet and kicked chakra through his frame. He coupled the draw of the void with his own anger, and made headlong at the enemy, his blade raised, pointed above the apex of his shield as he took off and kicked into the air and met the darkness ahead of both men, the blade searched out a target on the other side, and Lohner's mind rattled as he felt the wash of corrupted nature chakra.

Were there any names Sadayo could call upon and rope in for help? Well. A few but she hadn't seen hide or tail of the select few she could ask. On the upside, there is a simple solution to not having many from her meager list of help around and it was just as easy as slapping her hand on someone's shoulder and getting their attention. How hard could it be to find someone who could work with a puppeteer? She was long range and that can work with pretty much anyone else, right? The jounin shrugs and nods as she reaches the plain conclusion that all would be well. Worst case scenario is either they all die or she gives her failing assistance a callous boot out of battle with a firm fling of her strings. Sadayo's opposite hand, the one which wasn't busy dusting soot off itself, at last came to a stop with its subtle twitches and brought Gishin's "dance" to a stop. The thought crosses her again concerning some "worst case scenario" daring to haunt her. Granted, it wasn't wrong to prepare and plan for her own failure or the blatant failure of anyone she was working with. The last time Sadayo began prepping for a group endeavor was actually many years ago and since has either been working alone, with her competant puppeteering parents for survival, and more than often with a puppet or two lingering by her own fingertips. There was really no reason for Sadayo to pit herself in an internal pickle about whether she could take others and bask in the glory of being recognized as an actual jounin or run the easy route of being a self proclaimed one-woman militia. She gave a long, fairly unamused look at her Gishin puppet and ran her sights from its head to the edge of its flowing gown. For a good solid moment, Sadayo found herself questioning a thick shadow under Gishin's attire. Did a fuzzy mushroom pop-up at her heel from standing there so long? The puppeteer cautiously arches her neck for the perfect view of whatever popped up at her feet. She beheld a gentle sight that could have been ruined in moments with the wrong gesture and one Sadayo frankly wouldn't have ever anticipated. Gishin was far from being any leafy green and looks nothing like a ripe peach on its limb but something had this rabbit all-eyes on the puppet. The last time Sadayo could recall seeing any sort of rabbit was, maybe, during her long journey through the land of fire several years ago. Rabbits with shades of browns, patches of white, blotches of greys and all very quick to flee. Well. What else could the puppeteer do except hold her breath? When was the last time she saw a furry black rabbit at this close? No idea! She caught herself staring in awe with little room for too many straying thoughts. Rabbits are less apparent in certain biomes, namely Sadayo's native wasteland, and the only rabbit sighting that was almost guaranteed was the plainly an optical illusion on the moon. An up close encounter with a rabbit was a treat. A thought wiggled its way into Sadayo's attention when she realized this was the first rabbit she's seen since arriving to the coast. The puppeteer began to speak with her head bowing forward. "Some people say you're lucky. Then some would argue that the color of your fur could be either a good or a bad omen. Then again, some would say the same thing even if you were a white rabbit." Her voice was quiet and she spoke thoughtfully as if weighing the worth of superstitions to her inanimate doll. As expected there was no response from a whole lot of anything for the moments there after she spoke her mind. Sadayo raised her head, sighed, and spoke aloud once more but sounded more unamused. "I'm talking to a rabbit."

Usagi would c**k her head inquisitively at Sadayo. Should the woman keep paying attention to the rabbit before her, she'd see the bunny briefly stand on its back feet and offer a little shrug in response to the puppeteer's comments on luck. This would immediately shift to a look of anger at the mention of her fur being an ill omen. Quickly moving on from Sadayo's comments, Usagi would turn her attention back to the puppet. In a single, impressive leap, even for a rabbit, Usagi would bound into the air, landing upon the woman's shoulder closest to the puppet to get a closer look.
Kekkai Massatsu no Jutsu [ Barrier Shatter Technique ] Rank: E Description: This technique is used to shatter visible or found barriers by borrowing chakra from allies. Guild Description: See official description. Only affects barriers made and sustained with chakra. Once used, the user's chakra passes through all nearby and willing shinobi that have trained in Korabo with the user, prior to disrupting the barrier, gathering strength. Gains an extra rank of chakra and power for every extra shinobi that it passes through before returning to the user. Shattering occurs at a higher level than the barrier's own, and also causes the source to be unable to create another for one [1] of their posts. Requires E-rank Korabo training with another shinobi to use past E rank.
Putting one hand against the wall of the nearest building, Saekki channeled energy through his palm. He felt like he was beginning to get the hang of this and that his powers were returning. If so, then he would definitely be able to topple this building with just the power channeled through his palm. Unfortunately, though he did create a sizable hole, that was not the case. [1/1]
Ayatsuito no Jutsu [ String Reeling Technique ] Rank: X (Learned as E) Official Description: Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing wire. This string can be used in rappelling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. The Uchiha clan also utilizes the wire in their Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi technique. The wire allows the clan member to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them. Guild Description: See official description. This technique increases the strength of a wire or rope being used, allowing it to support greater weights or keep others from escaping easily. The wire or rope is infused with chakra, and a technique of equal rank or higher must be used to break it. If the user is in contact with the wire, they can pay an upkeep cost of half the original rank, to a minimum of five [5] chakra to maintain it past the first post. Without physical contact, the technique ends after three [3] posts.
Unfortunate, Saekki felt about this whole situation. He would need more training. The hole earlier had exposed a series of electrical wiring. Saekki grabbed a hold of these frayed parts of the buildings internal structure. Then, channeling his C-rank chakra through the string-like parts to reinforce them, ensuring they would be able to hold up to the abuse Saekki was about to put them through, Saekki pulled savagely at the wires, tearing them further out the wall, and toppling the building with the force. Technique Name: Korabo Technique Rank: E (Initial rank, but can be trained up to S+ based on learning restrictions) Technique Type: Passive Technique's Description: A passive which, when trained in, allows the user to fuse two techniques together into one more powerful technique. The fusion of the two techniques does not require an activation, but both techniques do. In order to fuse two techniques, both techniques need to be performed at the same time. There are a few manners of doing this, such as making shadow clones to time the technique or simply being able to fuse two ninjutsu at the same time. Korabo is the technique which allows two shinobi to fuse their techniques together. To fuse techniques, one must train a korabo bond with the person they wish to perform a dual technique with up to the rank of the technique they wish to fuse. Guild Description: The rules for fusing techniques together are as follows. The first is that the max technique you can fuse is the maximum level of korabo trained. So if you only have korabo trained up to B-ranked, then you can only fuse two B-ranked together. The second rule is that the two techniques fused vary in the potential of its power. Two techniques of equal rank fused will become a technique of power one rank higher. So two B-ranked techniques fuse to make one A-ranked technique. Furthermore, two techniques separated by one rank in power will take the rank power of the higher rank, but will eliminate any potential weaknesses of the two techniques, and give the fusion the property of overwhelming. So if a B-ranked an a C-ranked technique were fused through the use of Korabo, then the technique would be B-ranked power with the property of overwhelming to techniques of the same rank. Finally, the rules for what techniques can be fused are as followed. The first rule is that the two techniques need to fulfill the same general purpose. For example, two projectile techniques can be fused together through the use of Korabo. However, an elemental shield and projectile technique cannot be fused together. Second of all, if two techniques of the same elemental property, or the same technique performed twice, are fused then the two techniques maintain their elemental strength and weaknesses. If two techniques with differing elements are fused, then the fusion loses all elemental strength and weaknesses. Finally, techniques can only be fused of different elements so long as they are complimentary elements, aka elements which have no elemental strength or weakness against each other. The only exception is if you fuse a technique with one of one rank higher, and the technique of one rank higher is of a weaker elemental property than the element which is stronger. An example is if you wanted to fuse a C-ranked water ninjutsu with a fire ninjutsu, then the fire ninjutsu would have to be B-ranked. In this example, the jutsu would treat the B-ranked fireball as C-ranked, and thus two fused would act as a B-ranked technique. Techniques fused either have to be of the same rank, or one rank difference. Finally, despite the leaning toward ninjutsu, this technique allows one to fuse complex and spiritual tai and bukijutsu as well. For complex techniques, treat it's fusion with ninjutsu as the example with two opposing elements fusing, (aka, if you want to fuse a B-ranked complex punch with a ninjutsu, then the ninjutsu would have to be C-ranked). Medical ninjutsu can also be korabo'd, but only with other medical techniques.
But wait, there's more! While his hand pulled the building with its very internal structure, Saekki collaborated with himself and drove a formless kick of equal power into the metal house. The wires pulled the building into the kick, forcing it to take everything Saekki had to offer until it couldn't take anymore. The attack not only sentenced the building's demise, but also blasted it away so that it slammed into the building behind, taking down two fro one. [1/1]

Fantabulous. A fantastic double kill. Except, in the whole epic, slow-mode scene when Saekki kicked the building away, those flashy wires that were so stylistically whishing and waving all around him ended up getting tangled around Saekki. A little bit bound now, he recalled that a certain technique could make this much better. He focused his chi, a magic circle formed in front of him, and the spell activated. Now, instead of a bound, fully clothed handsome man, he was a... bound, naked sexy woman?! Yes, while perhaps better in a certain way, this was not what Saekki wanted. [1/1]
Nawanuke no Jutsu [ Escaping Skill ] Rank: E Official Description: Nawanuke no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu technique that allows a Shinobi to escape from rope binds. Guild Description: Allows the user to escape from being tied up, or otherwise trapped, as long as doing so is possible without requiring significant altering of the human body to escape and as long as movement is still possible. Using chakra, ropes and other ties can be nudged in ways to loosen them and allow eventual escape. Takes two activations to get through one tie.
Flushing with embarrassment, Saekki ended the spell promptly. He coughed dryly as he tried to remember the correct spell this time. Yes, he actually didn't mind learning such a technique. However, now certainly wasn't the time to use it. This time getting it right, the magic circle formed and it carefully nudged at the roped binding Saekki until he wriggled free. [1/1]

Kakuremino no Jutsu [ Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique ] Rank: E Official Description: A very basic move, the user uses a camouflage cloth to cloak themselves in the background. Guild Description: See official description. Attaches any cloth seamlessly to the background at its tips, while absorbing the information necessary to visually camouflage the user.
Saekki took a short break from building to do some art. He pinned up a piece of cloth, painted it a bit, and then stood back to appreciate how well it blended into the background. Not half bad, but one could still tell it was a piece of cloth over a metal wall of the same color. Stepping up, Saekki used a little bit of chakra to perfect the illusion. Instantly, the cloth turned from looking like what it was, to all but disappearing as it perfectly matched what it was again. [1/1]
Then it was pack to punching. Saekki gave his strongest punch [C-rank hard formless] and toppled the building. His feet stomped the ground, and he spun to get momentum on a palm thrust that whipped his chi across the ground and raised the rubble at his feet into deadly projectiles [C-rank roof shuriken] that barraged down a wide expanse of wall.
Still no signs of Honey. Well, Saekki couldn't stop until he found Honey, right? He approached the next set of buildings again, kicking down the foundation to the point that the next building collapsed [C-rank hard formless]. Then, spitting out a large glob of water to topple over the last building before his body started wavering, shaking due to physical exhaustion [C-rank Fish Spit].
Oh, come on. Already? This body... was seriously... Saekki collapsed for the second time today. For all the annoyance he found his weakened body to be, it was at least tough. He collapsed on the ground without any support, but sustained no injuries, and despite driving himself to the brink of his energy pools, his sleeping face didn't look any weaker or paler than someone who was hale and healthy.
He slept deeply for a few seconds. Having had a tough childhood, he could sleep anywhere he pleased. Toss in that his body was thoroughly exhausted, and he could probably sleep in the middle of a war if he wasn't going to be killed for it. Likewise, growing up in such a tough crowd gave Saekki a knack for recovering that was no weaker than his knack for sleeping anywhere. His eyes snapped open his energy was restored and Saekki picked himself up while wiping the drool off his face.

The "unamused" look on Sadayo's face reverts back to her disinterested, blank mask of an expression within the seconds she began to wonder if the reality of talking to rabbits over puppets was really anything to be dismissive of. A sigh was on route for exhaling before the sudden plopping of something on her shoulder. Sadayo tilted her head in the opposite direction and swung her head to find the rabbit. It was genuinely hard to hold any straight face, save a twitching eyebrow, Sadayo was managing. Her ponytails seeming to rise and tremor, as if they were more than just hair, were becoming obvious giveaways that something was off about having a rabbit in her personal space bubble.
Her softest of whispers hide her words from many but the surpassing ears of the black rabbit. "I don't know...what. Is this luck?" She bars her teeth and looks around. "Is this...bad luck?" Sadayo swings her attention back to the rabbit at perch on her shoulder then her sights rise, just ever so slightly, to the Gishin puppet. The act of making the puppet's head move was subtle. If memory was serving Sadayo well then her knowledge of recites that rabbits are incredibly cautious, skiddish creatures that flee at the first possible sign of danger. Gishin usually boasts quiet neck joints unless one was listening particularly extra well. On the other hand that quiet neck joints at Sadayo's level probably indicates there's still a soft gritty hum of a noise at rabbit level. "I think Nirami would be too scary for you." Her thoughts came out as more whispers. Sadayo was catching on to the rabbit's interest in puppets and that struck a special chord in Sadayo which hadn't been struck in a long time. Senzankou was too large and resembled an animal. Now, all this "what would be scary?" was all on a level of thinking Sadayo was trying very hard to wrap her head around. What would a small child find terrifing versus amazing and cool? Yūutsu's appearance sat on the border of being OK or unnerving. Hohoemi's bright appearance and smile might have been perfect. The puppeteer takes the chance and quietly works her scroll with her opposite arm, the one the rabbit hadn't so pleasantly plopped on, and brought Senzankou and Yūutsu on to the plain. Another whisper to announce them: "look, new toys. Oh, it's Girl's Day all over again." At least Sadayo would in need of her tools anyway. "I guess I have to write you off as something. Good, maybe." Sadayo did her best to remain still long enough to entertain the rabbit but still had work to do. She needed to divide her attention from the long-eared lop to finding somebody who looks able-bodied and knew a thing about energy manipulation. But the refugee collective of civilian and ninja made a mess of trying to identify who had the time and who had been buried by other tasks. She thought she spyed someone with a sword among the crowd. Hopefully he wasn't too caught up in said sword to take a hint from a nudge. Sadayo slowly raises her arm and holds her hand out in a way that she was trying to line up her sight with the lingering swordslinger. Then made a literal flicking motion and shot a string toward their direction. Nothing major. It wasn't one of the big, crazy strings that would take full blown control of another living thing. It was a lonely string enough to pull on clothes or tug on the edge of a sword.
Tug. Tug. Tug.
If she ever manages to reel in his attention with an invisible string, she would attempt to meet his sights and beckon him forward with one finger to follow the string.

A flash of light. Kagerou was the definition of luck. She had tried to 'port to somewhere a little way away from the past Leaf Village. She didn't expect "a little way away" was right smack in the middle of where the old Uzu shinobi had settled.
A flash of light, and Kagerou was standing mere inches away from a lady with dark hair and light eyes. "Oh," she smiles, eyes wide with surprise but voice talking like any other day, "Hi." She even gave a wave. Then, it was right into business, "Do you happen to know who's in charge around here? I have an urgent message from Arashigakure."
The sword slinger assumed-shinnobi hadn't apparently gotten whim of Sadayo's attempts. Yet. At least Sadayo was a determined girl and insisted to go after what she wanted. She began to tug a little harder. Maybe she suddenly was pulling too much? Next Sadayo knew she was wincing at a flash of flight near by. The thought hadn't occured to her the sword slinger could loaded with flash bombs or something. The light came, went, and revealed a lady with green hair. Or blue. The flash of light left on of those pesky off-color blots on her vision so colors were a tad skewed for a second. She asked the straightfoward question about who was in charge with equally her straightfoward reason. Sadayo could just only find this suspicious but likewise hopeful that maybe this was something good. "Lahlil." Her flat reply. "Wait. Let me grab her. She raised her hand up to her cheek and suddenly began to wiggle her left middle finger while looking around. As one who feels she is the observant type, Sadayo figured she was able to latch an innocent nuisance of a string to pull Lahlil's attention after locating her. But locating Lahlil was thorugh a sea of people of looking for the clone with hardly an ounce of energy left to spare. "Just a second..." She said, standing on her toes and dutifly looking about the scattered crowd. "There. Okay. Hold on." A seemingly meaningless curl of her middle finger had her connect to something about the clone Lahlil's person. Just tugging o n, asking for attention, to and come here. She wasn't going to let this mystery flash person out of her sight. Frankly, Sadayo wanted to know whatever it was Arashi had to say (Lahlil be willing). "Laaahlil."

tabBusy helping as many as she could Lahlil was for the most part oblivious to any callings, not because she meant to ignore but rather because there really was just so many needing her help. Had it not been for the little puppeteers magic she likely never would have noticed the new stranger enter the crowd. With a tug at her collar did the Clone's light form gently tumble to the ground on her tush and gett pulled right back to Sadayo like a naughty child getting caught be her mother. Eventually would this clone come to a stop at the feet of the two individuals in quite the 'unkage-like' position along with a very confuddled expression. "...O-oh hello Sadayo and... ah I don't think I've had the pleasure. May I help you with something?"

When more than one genjutsu is on the target their ranks are shifted so that the lower ranked genjutsus get their strength bumped up to highest ranked genjutsu on the target for the rest of it's duration. This is only useable up to the users self ranked korabo level and each genjutsu is still treated as separate when interacting with kai. Any upkeeps are also increased to reflect this change.

The little finger quirks could have been any number of things, any number of things that Kagerou acknowledged as possibilities. She didn't stress over the details, however, working under the assumption that this person wouldn't try to kill her in the middle of a crowd.
Lahlil was prompty dragged to Kagerou and her new acquaintance's feet, to the surprise of the unsuspecting kunoichi. She had traced Sadayo's line of sight to this Lahlil person, noting that there were several other copies running around of said person. A pretty lady, she admitted, and one who was working herself half to death. Yes. In Kagerou's experience, this most definitely was the kage or someone of almost equal power. For simplicity's sake, she was just going to assume Lahlil was the kage. She just hadn't quite expected that the kage to be whisked to them quite like a fish caught on a line. She suspected that the finger twitching fell into the category of puppet or raiton strings, with her money more so on the former as they had been indiscernable.
Nonetheless, Kagerou smiled in greeting at the person in charge. Certainly most unkage-like to be toppled with just a bit of string. However, Jack was also of equally frail appearances, and she did not think she would ever meet anyone who would ever be as psychologically terrifying as that man. Leaning forwards, the kind-eyed kunoichi extended a hand out for the clone to accept with all due respect, fingers flexing slightly before opening completely to invite Lahlil's hand. The bells on her wrist rang out with these movements, and should the clone accept the gesture, a green glow would emanate from where the two hands touched, carrying a refreshing feeling with it. The little scrapes and cuts upon the Lahlil clone healed in front of everyone's eyes without a trace.
Once the two were both standing straight, Kagerou stepped back an appropriate distance from the two Uzu nin and gave a polite bow. With a smile that shined casually, she gave her formal introduction, "The pleasure is mine, Lady Lahlil. Please call me Kagerou. I flashed in from Arashigakure just now to deliver a message from the Arashikage."
She paused to give herself a moment to reconsider, head remaining trained on Lahlil but eyes scanning side to side. The setting may have been unfamiliar, but the scene wasn't. An entire village displaced. Kagerou had lived through that before. Basic resources were difficult to gather in suitable quantities, much less everything else. She couldn't know what kind of burden that placed on a kage, but she could imagine. Nonetheless, in many ways, this was what a kage had to do. "I understand reconstruction is your main priority," Kagerou openly expressed her thoughts, "However, the Arashikage thought you would like to know... Right now, Arashigakure is readying to defend itself from an attack from the same people who attacked Uzushiogakure." Kagerou's formal message stopped there. However, her hesitation could be seen written plainly in her smile. To continue and add more? Or not?
In the end, she chose to add more. "If this force is truly the same as the one that destroyed Uzushiogakure with an attack that could be felt halfway across the world, then this is two shinobi villages they've attacked without provocation in a very short span of time. They are not a threat that can remain unchecked. It is my deepest regrets that we in Arashigakure were unable to help Uzushio when they needed it most. However, my biggest hope in this endeavor is that, with this newest joining of our forces, we can form an alliance to make sure that, in the future, there is a reliable way to speedily send aid should either village require it." As she began speaking about the regret of being unable to aid Uzushiogakure, Kagerou's smile fell and she gave a deep half bow, only straightening after she finished speaking. She added one last thing, smile returning with these words, "I don't know when Arashi will be attacked. For that reason, I can't stay for long. However, if there is anything brief you require my aid for, then I will be happy to assist to show my sincerity."
Following that, she could only wait for a response.
