Maria smiled bright at the fact that they liked the same color. It was at least one thing they had in common. She was happy to tell Marco how she liked gymnastics particularly the balance beam, that she liked orange sherbet, and that if she had to pick a favourite type of music it was anything with a mellow soothing tone, though she definitely liked upbeat and happy too.

When the topic of snow came up Maria couldn’t say she’d seen it. Apparently neither had Marco. Yet another thing they had in common. “Same, I’ve never seen it either since I live in Olivine City. There isn’t anywhere near where I live that has it; just a lot of beach, water, and some open fields.” She replied honestly. Not that she minded the lack of cold weather.

Maria had to admit that having Charmander around sure came in handy. “Thanks for the heat Charmander.” She thanked the fire type with a smile. Lillipup was super happy with it as she stayed near the lizard Pokémon. Her warm fur coat kept her warm enough along with Charmander’s heat. “Here Espurr,” Maria said taking him from her shoulder and sticking him within her coat. Espurr’s head stuck out of the coat to continue seeing the world as they went along.

The brunette was happy to hear that Marco wanted to continuing hanging around her. As they wandered the two came across a lottery booth. It was like the lotto that a lot of the other students played, at the previous festival in the Lamia district. “I can’t say I’ve ever done this before.” She admitted as she wandered over. Maria noted seeing a familiar purple haired boy that she knew but tried to ignore it. “Shall we give it a go?” She asked Marco wondering how lucky she would actually be.
