[Enter from Inada]
Having left behind the desert island of Inada, Maximilian saw as the destroyed base of bandits created a large pillar of sand that was shot up as the structure crumbled. Luckily it happened in a desert that had no inhabitants. Had it been any different, he could have been confronted by the inhabitants in regards to what he did that caused such a showy thing. However, that did not matter anymore. As he made his way towards a different island, Maximilian decided to rest, leaving the navigation to the boat itself. Having inserted a fragment of a soul into it, the boat gained a life and sentience, being able to sail on its own. All that while Maximilian dove into the world of dreams for a while.
One could believe he was having a nightmare from how he behaved in his sleep, and such an assumption would be correct. He relived past incidents, where the people of his kingdom rebelled and further complicated the situation of the kingdom. Something that was not fruit of bad management or corruption, but a scheme made by despicable creatures who wished to see the ruin of a peaceful and happy country. A wish motivated by lust and whatever else the rotten heart of a Celestial Dragon could feel. The man woke up abruptly as he saw the scene of his sister being taken by a disgusting creature disguised as a disgusting pig looking sweaty human. In the nightmare he was but a child and could not do anything other than just watch as the events unfolded.
Maximilian did not notice that he had been grabbing the boat too hard until he heard a small yelp that followed a snapping sound. He almost broke part of the boat and hurt his dear and invaluable incarnation. To whom he could only apologize from the bottom of his heart. He even bowed down humbly, something he learned that he should not do except to those he held dear to him and did not mind casting away his pride for. That was how much his incarnations mattered to him. Before long, he fell into a deeper slumber, being very tired, physically and mentally, from carrying the burden of having to restore his kingdom to its former glory. Something way too heavy for a boy who just went through puberty. But it was also something no other could do. He was the king of Lorencia and, as far as his sister was concerned, he was the only legitimate heir to the throne.
The next time he opened his eyes, the sun was being blocked by Tormenta while Sol seemed to be taking a nap several meters above her. Just like he cared for them, they also cared for him. Having obtained this power during his childhood, the two first incarnations he made ended up becoming almost like parents of his. Even if they behaved like they were mere servants. With a wry smile, he greeted them awkwardly. Tying the boat to the docks, he did not remove its soul in order to allow the boat to resist in case someone tried to steal it. Maximilian walked across the port and immediately asked for directions from a kind looking flower seller. She seemed to be around the same age of his sister, so he felt a little bit anxious. Fortunately she was very kind and did not mind his awkward behavior.
The blonde haired man, who clearly had the appearance and manners befitting of royalty, proceeded to the part of Ocean's Naval where a family ran a restaurant and an inn. Feeling hungry, as it was shortly after noon, he decided to eat first and enjoy the atmosphere of the town. The customers had mostly left since lunch time was pretty much over, so Max had an easy time finding himself a seat. Taking one by the window, that allowed him to observe the people outside, he waited until a waiter brought him the menu. He was a young man, just slightly older than Maximilian. At the same time he brought the menu, he brought a small basket with a bread and a glass of water, in case the customer was hungry or thirsty and did not want to wait for too long. High class service for such a modest restaurant.
Running his finger over the menu, Maximilian decided on a fried dish, that should not take long to be prepared. However, he still ate the bread that was brought to him. Despite being a king, he has since long gotten used to a life without luxury. More often than not he ate really cheap meals in the royal palace instead of food nobles are used to eating. Bland soups, hard bread, extremely hard to chew preserved meat, etc. In fact, he was eating better now that he reported to piracy. While also developing a bit of a bottomless stomach. When the food arrived, the few customers who were still around were surprised by the ten dishes lined up on his table. He ordered two of each fried dish from the menu. And ate everything within minutes. He could have eaten more but he knew self restraint. He was there for a different reason after all. Ocean's Naval was another of his targets, for being aligned with the World Government. After eating lunch, he brought forth fire and lightning upon the entire city, while personally collecting the valuables from the houses.
The only thing left to do was hide for a while, in hopes that nobody would stop him as he went on his noble quest. He was sorry for the inhabitants of Ocean's Naval, it was not their fault. If anyone should be blamed it should be the very government that abandoned Lorencia and forced his hand. If he had to be a demon to revive his country and gain power that would allow him to rescue his sister, he would do it. Even if it costs his life.
Word Count: 1,000/1,000 (Major Raid & Destruction of Ocean's Naval)
