With a good night’s rest, arises a body refreshed. The sun hadn’t risen just yet, but she knew that dawn was just moments away. The sky would begin to shift in color, as she dressed and got herself ready. There had been moments in the past where she had arisen before others and had a chance to observe the breaking of dawn. It was a wonderful and beautiful sight. If you ever get the chance to experience it. And she did. Moving to the window, throwing open the drapes, she would gaze into the sky. The distance where the sun was just peeking over the horizon. Dawn was here, which meant it was time to meet the others. Today was the day they set sail upon their new vessel. A new adventure would await. As well as a new location to explore. Excitement filling her core as she made her way out her room. Though towards another. A gentle knock, to arose attention towards her comrade who had as well took refuge within the Inn that night. “Good Morning Nefertari. Are you ready to go?” A thought towards heading back together, despite his notions on doing things himself. But given the small time spent together chatting, Tahira felt the two were making progress in getting along. So maybe it will continue. “If so I’ll wait for you outside”

Together or apart, Tahira would soon make it to her destination. The docks would be in her line of sight and their vessel seemingly ready for departure. With a smile on her face, she would approach. Though her ears would catch the chatter that had been going around during these early mornings. An eye would shift, sighting the townies who were gossiping. “Pirates at the dock. I hope they don’t start any trouble. Perhaps we should call the Marines” Oh boy. emotion_sweatdrop A silent sigh would escape before shaking off the discontent and slight worry. Of course they were talking about their ship. The Jolly Roger swaying in the morning breeze. “You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover” words spoken out loud and in a calm nonthreatening tone. Not intentionally, though she cared not for the retribution. Only confused looks would bare upon her as she continued further. It still amazed her. No matter where she went. Of how people could be fearful of what they didn’t even know.

“Ahoy!” she would shout. Her hands around her mouth in hopes of sending her voice further out. A bright smile on her lips as she felt a tad bit embarrassed. Never had she done such a thing, though it was evident that she was excited. Leaving it be, she would make her way aboard. “Good morning you two. Did you sleep alright?” A gentle greeting to start the day.

First light. Sunbeams would meet bronze skin and awaken the beautiful Nefertari from his slumber. He didn't remember going to the room to sleep but apparently he had. The assassin's morning ritual would begin and finish within the passing hour. Greeting Tahira, fixing himself up, and packing his things to be placed on the ship. Sandals would hit the dirt as Nefertari made his way to the ship with bags in tow and Tahira following hopefully. As he would approach the ship, he would avoid directly speaking to anyone as he was in one of his moods. It was possible that he just needed to talk to someone but who could say.
He would immediately make his way to one of the rooms in the ship to place his things. Maybe more shopping was necessary in order to make him feel better. Thoughts would circle as he would return outside and stand on the deck looking at Kaito. "So are we leaving or what?" A flip of white hair and a turn of his head would signify his readiness for departure. Hopefully this new adventure would yield more excitement! Something that would distract Nefertari, if only for a single moment.

                                                  Round three!

Hitting the sea once more the destructive duo would arrive at their next stop in their round trip tour of South Blue. With their conjoined collections they would definitely need a bigger ship to hold it all. If either of them went under then it would spell the end for them. Flowing locks were swept along the brisk breeze of the sea air. Goldy was feeling rather gleeful today. After some time spent recovering from her wounds and gearing up to take on the world she was taking the first step in conquering mankind; today was going to be a great day!

It seems that luck was on their side as well.

As she slowly came to shore, looking up from her stop watch, her eye caught the sight of a large cargo ship; large in comparison to her own boat anyway. Burly men were busy at work loading the ship full of goods that had been collected from the island to distribute to the rest of the world for a profit. The load didn't look very large but it was something worth taking a closer look at. Goldy, however, cared more about the ship than its cargo, it was average in size so along with whatever they were taking it appeared as though there had been enough room to board at least five people.

A slick smirk spread across her lips as she surfed her boat onto shore and then springing from it. Her boots dug into sand as she looked over her shoulder to Galand.
"I'll get the ship. You get the island." She called out, clicking the start button on her stop watch.

Boarding the cargo ship she'd interrupt the men presently aboard. Galand had his consulting or his bribing in covert operations, Goldy had her stealth, but when faced with a group of men armed with swords and firearms, she preferred the use of her fists.
"Alright loves, this vessel is mine now. So either walk the plank or get thrown off. Choice is yers~" As a display of power, Goldilocks's gaze sauntered over to the closest man at her side. He was a lean thing, shorter than her by at least a foot. She'd hoist him up from his collar, causing him to drop the crate he'd been carrying. Such a cute thing he was, but not very much her type; he'd been lacking in the muscle department. So with her superior strength and a little bit of wind pressure, she'd stomp down a single time and rocket him off of the ship. He'd sail through the sky until he'd become a twinkle their eyes.

The men froze in place, some of them were shaking in their boots. Bewildered by her power Goldy wasn't sure whether it'd been out of pure fear for their lives or if they had suddenly grown balls of steel, but all at once they'd taken out their firearms and their blade and with a war cry they all charged at her.

This was good. She always loved a good brawl, these men had some fight in them!

As they charged, she simply stood there, bracing herself for when they got close. This time, the rambunctious one-eyed bombshell chose not to strike with the power of her darkness. She could still remember Akura's scolding about it being just another tool at her disposal and not something for her to rely on. Which was fine, given she wanted to play around with a few new tricks she had hidden up her sleeve. As guns fired, Goldy steeled herself. She sucked in a bit of air and calmly released it as an airy mist. An onyx darkness layered her face as her torso hardened. The bullets pinging and ricocheting off of her. Blades broke against her body as she'd even caught one in between her teeth before snapping it in half with her mighty jaws.

Then there came that wicked smirk followed by wails of torment that shook the ocean and the deep plopping of heavy objects constantly hitting the surface of the water.

Once all was said and done and Galand had finished his raiding, he'd be met with a large ship. Their cargo already aboard along with what was there before she'd stolen it. Bubbles rose to the surface of the ocean in various locations around the ship as only she was left aboard.
"Yah ready tah go?" She called out, the pair would then set sail for the next island.

                                                  {Exit.}

[ After that last excursion with the previous island, Galand had actually started to feel...good! He feels a sense of accomplishment rushing through his veins. The same rush he’d normally only get from a good brawl. “We’re makin’ good progress, partner. If we keep goin’ like this, we’ll be stocked for the year and more! Gruhuhuhu! This rush ain’t so bad!” he says aloud, clearly enjoying this expedition. He sits on his vessel, crossing his arms and legs in patience as the next island comes into view. The wind sifts through, lifting all of his loose articles in a dance with the breezes. To this, Galand lifts his head and exhales. “Gotta make goooood use of this. Play it smart, and win big.” Those words echo through him as he recalls events from his past. Words provided by his old teacher. How right he was.

The memories fuel the brutish looking man even further, giving him more than enough confidence to tackle this next island as well. And with good timing to, as the boats reach the docks. Showtime. Before he can even set foot on the island this time, Goldi calls out to him, giving him the gameplan for this island. “Leavin’ the island to me, eh?” he quests before looking over to the ship in question. A thought hits him, giving him the point of them splitting up this time. “Ahh, I got ya, lass. Fine, then we’ll meet back here!” he says before leaping off of his boat, securing it, and making his way to the town. All around him are completely white buildings and structures with colored tops, giving them a fairly clean and exotic look. The designs interest him enough for the man to pause and take a gander at it all. “Not bad.” he comments before quickly losing interest and heading further in still. After a few minutes of looking around, he gets the gist of the area’s craftsmanship.

He can see which buildings hold the most importance, and which are merely used for housing or shopping. “So the store houses would be around here then…” he guesses, uses a sly passing glance-like maneuver to look into one of the large square buildings as a carriage passes before it, opening the doors to load in more materials. With a smug grin, he slowly walks off, looking for good timing. Without needing to waste much time, the answer to his trouble comes rushing by. A boy running away from some would be thugs. Galand snatches the boy into an alleyway while the men dash past, having had their sight screwed by the plentiful passing crowds of the streets. The boy screams and struggles while Galand keeps his mouth muffled with one hand. “Oi, relax, lad! I ain’t gonna bite! I’m here to help ye, so stop fidgeting and quiet down, else you draw those goons back to us!” Hearing that semi threat, he immediately shuts down, no longer struggling, to which Galand replies by releasing him.

The boy takes a few steps forward before turning to look up at his supposed savior. He takes a gander at all the scars littered across the man’s body, but shakes his head to regain his composure, thinking his staring is rude. “Th-Thank you for saving me!” he calls out with a boy. Galand holds out both hands and motions for the boy to relax. “No need for all that, boy. Now listen up, we gotta move fast. But, I gotta way to make sure those punks never both you again. You in? Otherwise, they’ll just find ye again. This ain’t the biggest island in the world, you know.” The boy stares for quite a bit before confidence covers his face, and he nods in agreement. It doesn’t take long for their plan to go into effect. Galand merely had to draw the men’s attention, leading them to a storehouse nearly opposite side of the town, pointing in at a would be boy huddled in the corner hiding patiently.

The men all laugh heartily as they rush in, with Galand heading off through the crowds back to the other storehouse, moving as though a normal traveler looking at the wares and goods. Once again, he pays a tent attendant for a large fruit. By the time he gets far enough, the storehouse behind him explodes, forcing all of the townsfolk to go handle and spectate the situation. Everyone’s goods and money could be in jeopardy after all. Galand uses this chance to grab any and everything he can possibly manage before taking a round-a-bout way back to the ship where he hears Goldi call out to him.

“Nooo problems here. Looks like you’re good to go as well!" he says, which a large mountain of crates and bags set on his shoulders. He toss up everything before leaping on himself, and sailing off once more. Yeah, this spacey ship is gonna do wonders. ]

Margo

Arriving back home to South blue Felipe knew he had to fix his home before venturing out into the world again. Trying to spread good across the row Margo would nearly complete his journey. Still there was much to do now, His boat coming to shore in Bastillera Margo would recieve a warm welcome from the people. They had already heard about all the good he'd done in the south already so they felt inclined to treat him like a hero. And margo could very much be on his way to becoming one. Unlike before he felt a strong sense of duty to the south, the way he and other southern natives told it, it seemed like the world abandoned south blue. Left it to die as pirates from all over laid waste to the entire row. And what did the world have to say about all this? Nothing. Being a fishman Margo's people were oppressed for years bound and tortured as slaves under the rule of the "Fair" and "Just" world government. But for those who didn't know better South blue was just a wake up call for everyone who wasn't on board from day one. And slowly ever so slowly Margo would make sure south blue seceded from the rest of the world. But for now They would have to rebuild the row, the Frenchmen would arrive in the run down city. And to think, just years before this Baterilla was thriving with life and energy. They were proud to have one of the best Rookie's coming up from their blue. To see Flamefist Ace's home town now, well it was in shambles. As Margo's party would arrive they would come bringing smuggled food, and water. They had to ration everything they had. Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor Margo felt like a young robin hood in the streets. A crowd of children coming to embrace him, Margo was like some sort of up incoming saint, as soon as he was done reimbursing this place he was going to spread out across the rest of the row, until he'd unified all of south blue. Handing out food and water Margo would make a speech calling out for all Young Men to join the fight, and fight back against the oppression. And every time he was beginning to pull more and more men. His movement was beginning to gain traction and his good deeds where giving him all the clout he needed. Just a little more effort just a little more energy and he could bust out 750 words. While here Margo would share supplies with the city folk, whose jobs were ruined who's lives were ruined after that scum Dekura sacked South Blue. What made everyone so mad was why them, out of all the places to attack why South blue, it wasn't as poor as East blue but still wasn't as rich as North blue. Why did these people, Margo's people deserve to have their lives shattered when The Mad Cat pirates and all of their might could have used it to change this god forsaken world. And what's worse to declare war on the World Government and attack it's most vulnerable people. The coward. Dekura made an enemy of South Blue and he was sure going to know it, and South Blue had a bone to pick with the World Government too. All in due time though, For now Margo would master his kenpo and make sure that his beard was nice and trimmed he wouldn't rush it, for he knew The revolution was inevitable just to think it would be born where Roger's son was born. Recruiting more men to his cause Margo would begin to plot, he wanted to assault The marine HQ first, but he didn't have enough men, so for the mean time, he would let the heart of the revolution heat up, once he knew he catch the flame, There'd be no going back. He knew there would be no stopping it once South Blue showed the world what could happen when you stand up for yourself and strike back against oppression. South blue was going to show the world that the World Government didn't control all, and that Pirates weren't going to get away with doing whatever they wanted willy-nilly. Taking out a cuban cigar Margo would spark it, commanding his men to start rebuilding the town he would remain in Baterilla from some weeks until the project was completed, then he would head out to the next south blue town that needed his help. and then from there he would unify it.

Luka ffelt a tap, turning behind as she was flicked on the forehead, making her flinch on reflex as she furrowed her brow. "H-Hey!" She rubbed her forehead briefly before sighing as they headed out. "Yes I know, but that doesn't mean you can flick me." She replied, sounding more annoyed than angry as most other superior officers would likely have reacted to such behavior from their subordinates.

Carrying on from there, Luka would go along with the suggestion of their next destination, letting the winds carry them onward as she would ride her ship, practicing her sword forms whilst Lily simply swam alongside the ship. She went over basic forms and routines, keeping up her daily practice during long trips as her vessel finally arrived to their next locale. She heard a few shouts and looked up over the rail as her she came into port, hastily dropping anchor and leaping over the rail onto the docks. She gripped her blade's handle firmly as she rushed into town, hearing gunshots as she runs around a building corner to see a single man with a gun, having grabbed a civilian in one arm as she came out to face him. "Unhand the civilian and come quietly! Resisting arrest shall only result in making your punishment harsher than it already will be!" She glared at him, taking up her pseudo fencing stance, right foot forwards, pointed at her foe as her right arm held her blade outwards, pointed at him as well. Her torso faced slightly to the left as did her left foot, grip firmly on her blade as the man just sort of laughed at her and pointed the gun at his hostage's head with a smirk. "Or you can drop your weapon and surrender peacefully! Unless of course you don't care about what happens to this person here~" She snickered as his hostage screamed, begging for their life.

Luka sighed softly, remaining surprisingly calm despite the situation at hand as she stared at him. "Very well...I shall drop my weapon..." She said to him, standing maybe thirty or so feet away from him as her wrist tilted forwards slightly before releasing her sword as the small crowd watched her seemingly give in with no resistance. In that moment, he let his guard slightly down, having assumed he had won as Luka narrowed her eyes suddenly. Shigure Soen Ryu...Yarazu no Ame. As her blade nearly landed upon the ground, her left foot snapped forwards suddenly, kicking the pommel of her blade as hard as she could. The blade would be launched towards the scumbag with a gun quickly, the sheer ridiculousness of the surprise attack having him completely thrown off, as expected. "Wait a minute that's ********' cheating!!" He shouted just before the blade stabbed into his gun shoulder, the sheer force pushing him back as his hostage was released. In the same time, Luka herself had dashed forwards towards him, closing the distance almost instantly as her left hand reached out, snatching the gun from his right hand with ease and tossing it to her left hand as he fell to his back. She then placed her right boot upon his chest, grabbing the handle of her sword with her left hand while it stayed embedded in his right shoulder.

"I accept your surrender." She said, looking down at him as she ripped her blade up from his shoulder, ignoring his cry of pain as he started to bleed and she used her handkerchief to wipe her sword clean before it was returned to the sheath on her left hip. The air went from tense, to much more relieved as people cheered her on. She waved them off as she asked for some bandages for his shoulder so they he didn't bleed out while she placed a pair of handcuffs around his wrists. She would then take the man, and escort him back towards her vessel at the docks, making sure to check him for any additional sort of weapons before placing him into the holding cell on her ship. Once finished there, she would make a quick mental note to take him back to the confinement cell at headquarters once they were finished here so that he could be dealt his punishment properly. She then returned back towards the town as some people thanked her for stopping the hostage situation as she questioned people on exactly what he had done. Officially, the notes she wrote down for her report later was that it was an armed robbery and hostage situation. Fortunately only warning shots had been fired and nobody had been endangered which was good.

Once her minor investigation was completed, she would ask to speak with the local mayor of the town so that she could add Baterilla to the list. Considering her success in the minor situation that had occurred, getting some regularly stationed Marines and protection was immediately agreed to with a smile, a few dozen thank yous, and a couple extra rough handshakes by the somewhat skittish mayor. Luka herself smiled a bit nervously and nodded, doing her best to finish and finally get out of his office. Once outside, she would check off the name of the island on her list of South Blue locations and nodded to herself. Just two more were left and they'd be finished. Afterwards, they would finally be permitted at least a little bit of time to relax before returning to the line of duty. Pirates were on the move again, other Blues were being raided and attacked and right now Luka could only hope the other Marines in those areas were able to help mitigate the impact for now. Until her assignment here was done, she couldn't just go out all willy nilly and chase down random pirates all over the place. However, all bets would be off after the last two islands were placed under watchful care thankfully. Luka would have to make sure Lily was prepared for combat as well as gain a better understanding of exactly how experienced and capable her subordinate was to avoid letting her be placed into situations too dangerous for her.

Lily decided to sit out the island visit this time and instead choosing to take care of the ship, well more like take a nap. Letting out a soft sigh she would take a seat on the lower bunk and clear everything off, removing the sheets from her bed and tossing them off, she would organize the shelf that remained pinned to the wall by screws. After awhile her vision would fade into darkness and she would find herself in another one of her dreams. She was walking again, through the bleak darkness, having fallen from before, she knew she had, but she didn't know why, her mind just told her she did. The darkness would slowly break though, a bright pink coming through as soft pink blossoms brushed by her, she would glance around confused, the dream quite vivid. She could see the giant pink skies above, they all looked like cherry blossoms up high in the sky rather then just the sky itself, a path way wasn't seen through the petals so she would walk through them instead, the hills before her wavering lightly, she was climbing up one now, as the petals curled under her feet and the pink petals stuck to her clothing painting it in a soft pink. Her nose tickled softly as the petals passed and slowly she would feel like she was about to sneeze, though after a moment she would see a figure dancing in the distance coming towards her at a fast rate. She would stare on with a look of questioning on her features, as the figure got closer she would slowly pin it as a young twelve year old, with bright pink hair and mismatched eyes. A smile placed on her pale skinned face, "Hehe. Bai bai lady." she said happily leaving Lily bewildered, she would suddenly find herself dropping fast through darkness head first she would look towards where ever she was falling. A green screen with leaves that seemed to be reflected with water, she would stare at it, and as she dropped through it she would find herself in a vibrant green place, still dropping fast, she would suddenly see red eyes reflecting her as a male made of leaves it seemed would grasp her arms and spin her around in a fast flurry of leaves, she grimaced as she would get dizzy, she remained spiraling through green ti'll it faded into black. She would soon see yellow coming at her though she was still spinning, she would slam into a pile of bright sunflowers cushioning her fall greatly, she would land with a soft "oof" before sitting up and looking around.

Light dawned on her from above causing her to squint, annoyance came clear across her face as she would stand on rather wobbly legs, looking at the coat she bore it had been scattered with prints of leaves and sakura petals and now the sunflower petals. She would stare at it in question as the heat of the sun bared down on her form, she would look up at it with questioning as she would start to move carefully, no figures were in the distance which made this place rather odd. Tilting her head, this place would make someone smile if they were surrounded by all the flowers around here, suddenly feeling a soft breeze blow it carried the scent of something strange even though sun flowers had no scent of their own. A grimace curled onto her features as she would turn to stare at a boy with a large smile on his face, "You should smile more. It's not good to waste such a pretty face with a frown." the person stated, she looked shocked at the sudden mention, but before she could respond the person suddenly grew taller then her and waved, she was falling again plummeting straight down, she didn't see the next color she was thrown into until purple shrouded her vision, the smell of lavender enveloped her and she felt like she had a headache. She couldn't see anything as she continued to fall, a soft mist swirled around her, obscuring her vision as she felt fingers trail along her face, she was staring into a woman's face, a bright pleasing smile on her face as she stroked her cheeks with soft fingers. The touch was nice, even if Lily was against something like that it felt so nice she couldn't move away, suddenly the mist would vanish as she stared up at the misty woman's bright eyes through the haze. Her sleeve had hues of purple dancing along the coat coloring it a bit vibrantly, she would stare up as she would suddenly find herself passing through orange, her skin burned as flames licked at her skin, but it wasn't painful. The burn felt good, much like the one you got after a good work out, it was nice, she found herself blushing for some odd reason, she would stare up as nothing appeared before her like she expected, these last two had no substance to them, it was strange to fall through them. Travelling through another black area she would suddenly feel her body slow and then see a beautiful blue surround her, eyes looking about as air bubbles suddenly moved from her, she would look up at the glorious change of blue, bright and light until it got into a deeper and pretty blue. She stared in awe at this place as her jacket became completely colored, the purple misty mountains with a sunflower field, the blazing orange sun over the horizon with a lake and the sky tainted blue, the green of a tree losing its leave and the pink hues of a distant grove of sakura. It was a wonderous picture placed across her jacket as she looked down at it, but it would suddenly turn all black and the feeling of something choking her caused her to writhe soundlessly.

She fell with a thud from her own bed and heard a commotion going about, she'd rub her eyes and soon feel the cobwebs of her dream fade away into nothingness. Lily stood with ease and followed the source of the noise to see Luka hauling away a man to the jail cell, she looked mildly curious but she'd easily follow behind her lieutenant, "Time to go?" she questioned in a soft sleepy tone.

[First Post]

It was late at night when a medium sized frigate approached the waters of Baterilla. The masts creaked, barely able to hold their own weight as the sails were pressed by the nocturnal wind. The broadside was visibly damaged and, exactly because it was night, one could see light coming from the windows of the captain's quarters on the upper deck. The glass panels on the windows were shattered and made it possible to hear groans coming from inside. As if someone had been gagged. And, as the light coming from inside the room grew stronger, the groans changed to muffled screams. It was no ordinary light but a flame that raged within the captain's quarters, while the captain himself had been tied up and left inside the room to be consumed by the flames. Before it could happen, however, the ship crashed into the docks and an explosion was heard coming from the lower deck. Successive explosions took place and before long the frigate was reduced to broken pieces of charred wood and bent metal that flew everywhere. The docks were set ablaze by the explosion, while also having part of it damaged. Other ships that were nearby shook as the explosion produced waves. It was out of luck that they were outside the flames' reach.

The crew that was on the ship would be presumed dead and the only recognizable remains that could be used to identify the tripulation was a fragment of wood with part of the ship's name written on it. One would be able to identify it as a merchant's vessel, the Golden Mermaid. It was supposed to be carrying a cargo worth millions of Beli. But the cargo would not be found if one jumped into the water to search for it. Even if the search radius was of several kilometers. That is because the cargo had been stolen by the very person behind the destruction of the ship. A pirate, not actually known by the world yet. A man whose epithet made one think of a protector rather than a destroyer. The Shield, Gran Aegis. But, of course, such a thing would not be known by simply examining the destroyed frigate. In time, however, the people who witnessed the incident at the docks would understand why that ship simply exploded and come to learn the identity of the culprit. By then, he would have already left the scene though.

In order to fully understand the plan, it would be necessary to go back in time to six days ago. In the same town, Baterilla, Gran Aegis was spending the night 'collecting' information from his 'contacts' in the red light district. Laughter and exaggerated moans could be heard coming from a certain bedroom from a certain building that was crowded with guests, like every night. "Ara... Master Gran, aren't you... fired up today?" said a woman that was only half dressed as the man in question moved underneath the sheets. "It wasn't even... hard to... get that... pig to talk." she was panting while trying to hold back her voice. "A reward is a reward. It doesn't make the information worth any less just because he was an idiot! So enjoy it Mia." another woman spoke up while grinning at her colleague being modest. The place was a high class brothel where only nobles and wealthy merchants could afford to spend the night. Gran was neither of the two but was able to get acquainted with some of the girls who worked there through other means. And this was him rewarding them for giving him detailed information about a cargo that was supposed to arrive at Baterilla within a few days. And every port it would visit before arriving. His plan was quite simple, intercept the ship and steal the cargo. But, if he had not heard said merchant boast of his competence in the port a fortnight ago, none of this would have been possible. He immediately contacted them, since they knew that such merchant was a regular of theirs, and made a deal with them, information for a part of the profits. And a good bonus, should the information come with plenty of details. Once he was told that the ship would make three stops before reaching Baterilla, and heard the name of the towns it would stop by first, he knew where and when to attack.

Two islands away from Baterilla, while the frigate was there, Gran hid in a passengers' ship that was heading to the ship's last stop before Baterilla. Because it was not a military ship, it had few weapons but there were plenty of bodyguards. But that did not make it impossible for the man known as the Shield to take over the ship while it was halfway to its destination. In the middle of the night, making use of powers he acquired after consuming a very particular fruit, that had an incredibly disgusting taste, he destroyed the captain's quarters from below. Taking hiding in the lower decks, he created countless spikes made of iron that stretched upwards and skewered the upper floors. The captain's quarters being directly above him, the man was killed in his sleep by the iron spears that tore through the wooden structure of the ship. The few who were awake to notice the sound, as well as those who woke up with the noise, panicked once they saw the rear of the ship turn into a porcupine. Gran, who hid among the passengers after the attack, made sure to throw all of them off the ship with a sweep of a giant iron paddle he created from his hand. He demonstrated shamelessly the powers of his Devil Fruit, the Tetsu Tetsu no Mi, also known as the Iron Iron Fruit, a Logia type. He did not care that the ship was damaged, as long as it could still sail. Once he took control over the ship, he used it to ambush the merchant's ship, that would not suspect a mere passengers' ship. After the attack had been a success, he set the ship up to explode as it would ram into the dock's of Baterilla. While Gran himself would return to the town on a boat, in order to sell the cargo to the black market and share the profits with his contacts. If anyone came after him, they'd be able to find him enjoying himself at the brothel.

Vot'gul had been training at Marine Base when he got the orders to go after a dangerous criminal. Reports claimed that the suspect was one man known as Gran Aegis. The murderous scum had hidden on a passenger ship, before killing the captain and throwing the rest of the passenger's to the sea and hungry sharks below. He had been shameless in his display of power, having constructed weapons from iron. With the passenger ship under his control, he had set his sights on the real mark, a merchant vessel weighed low by the weight of its cargo. The ship, after being plundered of its goods, exploded into the docks. No doubt perpetrated by the nefarious maggot that had pilfered the innocent merchant's of their goods. The explosion itself had cost countless lives, something that Vot'gul intended to repay in fold. Unbeknownst to Aegis, his informants had sold him out for a reward, notifying the marines of his whereabouts and his identity. The undead marine in full-plate pushed his way through the front doors of the brothel, shoving the door clean off its hinges as he stomped his way up the pirate's room. With one swift kick, the door flew off its fastenings, smashing on the opposite wall. The two women screamed in surprise and pulled the sheets up over themselves, leaving Mr. Gran completely exposed. "Pirate scum! Prepare to pay for you crimes!" Vot'gul bellowed as he pointed an accusatory finger at the ne'er-do-well before lunging forward. He drew a two-handed sword as he moved, swinging it to the side to avoid hitting a wall or ceiling in these tight quarters. He then brought the claymore in a horizontal arc, aiming at Gran Aegis' head.

Ark had been rather close behind the other marine who was arriving with intention of arresting this criminal. Usually due to the Brutality Laws set in place there was a limit based on how many criminals were commiting a crime and how many marines were allowed to respond. Some goverment system that allowed them to make the public think they were trying to prevent overly brutal events from occuring. Two separate crimes being done by the same person at the same time seemed to be how one bypassed the brutality laws. That being said, he followed this marine all the way up to where he kicked through thedoor of the brothel and the watched as the fully armored marine aimed for the head of the pirate. Ark would remove his ridiculously large Katana from his back as well. Holding it in one hand despite it seeming very much an inefficient way to fight. Preparing himself for combat in the event the other marine needed assistance.

Gran was not even allowed to go for another round as some fully armored man walked into the room, literally stepping his way into it by kicking the door off the hinges and breaking the lock. Mia and May screamed as soon as they saw the door flying and the culprit directed words that sounded like decorated lines that every man and woman in the Marine should say when engaging a enemy. In the time the man walked in and accused him of something, Gran made sure to pull up his pants at least, before directing words at this marine. The man, however, drew a large sword and swung it, aiming at his head. Seeing that act, Gran threw himself over the bed to avoid the sword and pick up his shield after he rolled. Luckily he was much taller than the two women so their heads were safe but they ran away in fear right after as Gran would ready himself to fight this unknown foe, not noticing that the man was accompanied until another man walked through the door.

Vot'gul's swing went wide as Gran ducked beneath it, slamming into a dresser to his side. The wood splintered! CRACK! As he wrenched forth the hefty steel, Vot'gul stepped forward and kicked the bed towards Gran. The mattress would fly into the air, coming down towards Gran as the broad, armored man stabbed the point of his sword through the center where the shielded "hero" had just been. "You will not hide from JUSTICE!" The large man in plate and chain yelled, shredding the bed with the broad blade. Vot'gul, in his passion, had yet to notice his comrade behind him standing in the door. So focused on punishing the dissenter that he hardly noticed the shadow being cast from the lobby into the room.
