Umm I don't really know. I guess when I first seen an yaoi manga I was shock that they made thing like that then I pushed it to the side. After that I saw it on anime and was like now that is cool.

My friend showed me Gravitation and I hid under her pool table. I freaked out when I first saw it. However, I watched more and more and found happiness.

I was slightly weird as a child and always thought 2 guys together was cute... You'll laugh but my young self didn't understand the workings of gay sex, I figured they just couldn't. (I was young!) So I always reasoned that 2 guys must really love each other to give up sex like that. By the time I was old enough to know better I guess the feeling was too ingrained. Meh.

Two men kissing never bothered me. I found it utterly fascinating when I first seen it! I can see how it would make someone uncomfortable or strange though.

Sometimes in situations I get weirded out when I see it. For the most part when I am in the mood to see it I am fine.

Mm. I can't really remember if gays in general ever really creeped me out; the actual act of being homosexual, anyway. I know that I was kinda nervous about like, FLAMING gay guys when I was younger. o_o; But that's because they were different. I got over it. xD *loves on them now*
Just considering the environment I grew up in, I was never really that uncomfortable about gays or anything. My mom was a 'f**-hag'--she had a lot of gay friends, and one of them used to even helped take care of us when my dad left. o-o; Then just growing up in a liberal household with two actors for parents... xD Yeah.
I don't think a lot of women are turned off by two men doing stuff together... I think they THINK they have to be like that. o_o In reality, we're almost the same as with guys are with lesbians. It's just us idolizing the opposite sex; some chicks dun realize that. <_<;
If anyone ever felt any weirdness at seeing two dudes kiss or something, it's just because of the whole damn american culture. Males even showing affection isn't shown to us; they need to be strong and brave, not loving and sensitive. @w@; We're not used to seeing two dudes kissing because they don't broadcast it on the TV. In a way, that's kind of why yaoi thrills me. xD They'll sooner show two women doing it, but never two men... it's okay to be gay, as long as we don't have to see you expressing your love for your partner.... x-x
Bah, I'm rambling now. xD;

When I first saw gay men kissing (eight-nine) I didn't find it creepy. I didn't really get it at the time, but I didn't find it creepy.

I've never really been creeped out by it. At first I was a bit uneasy, but it went away quicker than I thought and now I don't mind it at all. 3nodding

At first I was sorta 'eh, whatever' to it, and then I finally got up enough courage to read a Kurama/Hiei fic and it just grew from there. I think I was 12...I think, maybe...

FerretPrince Well...to be completely honest, yes, it did make me a little uneasy...
Mostly because I grew up in an area where 'gay' meant 'effeminate' and 'weak'.
Anything that was bad was deemed to be 'gay'. It was an insult. So, you could guess how...weirded out I was when these two guys were holding hands in public!
-cue gasps-
I was even more freaked out when I realized I wanted to do that one day. o_o;;
I used to live in an area where people got beat up if they were gay. I used to be a homophobe. Then I moooooved and discovered that intolerance sucks. heart
