She sat there in the cabin controlling her breathing and when jumped when the cabin door flew open. Soon enough the full moon came out from behind the clouds only to shown the Adaro that was watching her. Once Marius got the odd being out of the cabin, she quickly put her pants back on and made sure her corset was not undone.

When her Captain came back in the cabin, she was shaking a bit. Her ears rung from the creatures wail still. She said nothing as she only gave him a nod. Her short blonde hair stuck to her skin as it was still damp with cold sweat. It was hard to keep herself under control now. Now she rubbed the back of her neck like crazy trying to rid of her fine hairs standing up.

Marius took a couple of deep breaths to steady his breathing. His crew was now on the deck of the ship. Marius turned to them and said."The time to rest has past. Get this bloody ship moving now."His crew immediately went to their spots and began getting the ship moving. Marius had Lefty take the helm and he continually made a sweep around the ship to try and spot other Adaro's. He hadn't heard of the travelling in groups but he wasn't going to take chances. He lost three of his crew to that creature. He hadn't realized it at the time but when the creature spit into the face of one of his crew it had spit and an acidic poison. When he was sure that there were no more Adaro's he went and said a quick prayer for them and then he himself tossed the bodies over board. He then leaned against a wall to his cabin and then slid down. One flaw with Marius is whenever he loses a crew member he blames himself for not being more aware. Marius sighed and stared into the darkness of the night sky.

She put one of her shirts back on before leaving the cabin and looked at Marius. Gently she gone over to him and shook his shoulder. When he looked at her, she gave him a tired smile only to walk into his cabin. If he was to follow her in, she would talk to him and open up with him.

Marius sighed right before Awella shook his shoulder. He looked at her and it seemed like she was trying to tell him to follow her. So before he did he stood up and walked to the railing one more time and looked out to sea and then slammed his fist down as hard as he could on to the railing. Blood slowly trickled down his arm as he inspected the damage he did to himself. Then he went back to his cabin. He closed the door behind him and then looked towards Awella.

She sat on edge of his bed,"I just wanted to thank you...", she said, as her voice was gentle as he had ever heard it. Noticing his fist was bleeding she sighed and took his hand into between hers, only to take her other shirt and wrap it around broken skin. Even her touch was gentle, but cautious.

Marius was surprised to hear the gentleness of Awella's voice. She had always spoken to him with anger or in a cold demeanor."Your welcome Awella."Marius thought that was all she wanted to say and was about to turn around when he felt her hands gently take hold of his. He could sense her caution and after she had wrapped his hand in her other shirt he said."You are still cautious. What are you cautious about?"

She looked up at him, after he pointed she was still cautious. Glancing down at her hands keeping her shirt around his hand still. "I... It's just I'm...", she said and sighed, giving up on words for the moment. After a moment or two; possibly more passed she finally looked up at him. "I don't know how well I can sleep now... And it's almost worse then not having a protection charm well a selkie is trying to charm me.", she said in a low voice.

Marius looked at Awella and then said."Do you want someone to keep you company until you fall asleep?"

Now, she shyly nodded her head,"Yes please...", she said only to slick her short hair back. Still she sat on the bed only to look at him. Despite only the light was the full moon though his windows, it was hard to tell she was blushing.

Marius smiled kindly."Alright then."Marius gently slipped his hand out of hers and got a chair from his desk and placed it beside the bed. He then sat down and said."Oh by the way I must apologize for my blood ruining your shirt."

She was basically fully clothed and shoe-less when she laid on the bed. Pulling the blanket in a messy way up to her chest, she looked at him through such lazy eyes it was hard to tell if she was awake at all. "I've had shirts in worse condition, nothing a bit of water will do.", she said after she started to relax.

Now she lazily hummed a good but honest lullaby that most British knew. Before long her humming turning into gentle breathing and light almost snores. Her sinuses still had yet to clear up from the town's pollen and all, that she left behind less then twelve hours ago. This time nothing woke her up in a harsh manner.

Golden sun raise stirred her a bit, but she pulled the blanket over her head and curled up. Her feet were cold, as her forehead felt a bit hot. Though sometime in her sleep, she shed her shirt to still be in her corset and pants. Though soon after her pants were kicked off leaving her in her corset. So if Marius stayed, or came in. He would see milky pale legs intertwined in his blanket, as one foot was hidden away. And with just a corset on, it was hard to til she was half way dressed. Moaning tiredly she shifted in the bed before burying her face into a pillow to block out the sun.

Marius had stayed with her as she fell asleep. Her humming was putting him at ease because it reminded him of when his mother would sing lullaby's to him so he could sleep. And not long after she fell asleep so did he. What woke him were the rays of the sun. He yawned tiredly then he looked to the bed and saw Awella's leg. He chuckled as he saw her bury her face into a pillow. He got up and stretched and walked out of his cabin and closed the door behind him. Not far from his door some of his crew were talking and he heard one of them say."So you think the Captain claim the girl for himself?"Then another said."You'd be a daft fool not to."Marius said to them."Will you women quit your gossiping and get back to work."Those crew men quickly went back to work and he then took up his place at the helm and continued course towards Tortuga.

She managed rest there for a little while longer, though she growled when she climbed out of the bed. But of course after making sure 'her Captain' was not in sight. He was easier to relax around then a normal Captain, which was ironic, since most of her Captains she had wanted to bed her despite having their own wives. Though most would think with her personality, she was not a virgin; they were wrong. It took a bit to make her blush, and a little less to make her swoon, at least inwardly. For her to physically swoon, a person would have to set things up for her.

Once dressed, again but with boots on this time. She started by pacing the cabin and rubbing her joints. Once part of her bones popped and aches from old injuries faded away she left the cabin. Her eyes narrowed at the raising sun then looked around the ship to see the frame work and all better then when she had when Marius brought her on.

Walking up to the helm it was easy to tell she was tall as most men; as her boots were mens' too. When she reached the top stair she ruffled her hair only to cover her mouth of a yawn. If anything she would pay for more sleep, but her body said it was time to be up and working. Now she gently touched the railing and looked at Marius with a more gentle yet kind of cold some how stern gaze. It was a look that was more of protection, but showing him she did care for him.

Marius saw that Awella woke up so when she made it to the top of the stair he said."Morning lass."Lefty gave her a nod. Marius and Lefty had been friends for more than a couple years so if he had heard Marius approve of someone then he knew that he would trust them as well.Marius then said to Awella."So Awella have you ever been to Tortuga?"

She looked at Marius then Lefty, only to nod back at his right hand man. Hearing the question she rolled her eyes,"As often as I've seen a Royal Guard whom wasn't a moron.", she said, and this translated into 'never'. Since she was away from the guards ears, she felt more ease to speak of how stupid they truly were. Leaning against the railing she ended up yawning again, before glancing up to the crows nest.
