two x-mas ago my dad bought my Eerie Queerie 1. I started reading it and my uncle asked me what it was about and I told him as much as I knew...he didn't like it...he's really into his religion. I dunno if my mom cares...I still have to figure out how to ask her if I can buy Sensitive Pornography still...x.x oi...looking for the right words...and moment...but ya, she doesn't care. My one friend teases me. (my supplier XD) he's like "Aw man...what is with you people and yaoi. This one lady ordered a lot of stuff the other day." I told him it's because of the plot lines XD

They have a vauge knowledge of it and probably try not to think about it. xd
My brother seems to be the most disturbed of the three members of my family, but that's probably because he's seen the AIM windows, whereas my parents haven't. xd

My dad doesn't care, when he first found out, he just laughed. Though I think he twitches everytime I draw yaoi. My mom doesn't know, and I intend to keep it that way until I'm far away...and even then.

Chaotic Crescent They don't know I read/watch yaoi or shounen-ai. I think it's best to keep it a secret for now, or forever. sweatdrop yea, thats what I am and will be doing for the rest of my life. I willl take my undying love of Yaoi and Shounen-ai to my grave...along with a couple of Loveless pictures!! xd

My parents would die inside sweatdrop
My mom would probably faint, and then never look at me the same way again...>____<
And my dad would use it as another excuse to kick me out of the house, even though I should be moving out already anyway sweatdrop
Both of them are REALLY Christian, and believe homosexuality is a pure evil sin stare No matter how much I tell them it's not, they continue to be stubborn. Which is why they'll NEVER know I'm yaoi/shounen-ai obsessed xd
My brother would be worse though, but that's off-topic

My mom found out when she read an interview I did with the Boston Globe on this topic. She wasn't thrilled, but since I was over 21 and bought everything with my own money she really couldn't say anything.

Iras - Depends on the Parent
Oddly enough, it's my dad who is more tolerable of it then my mom. My dad says as long as I don't expect him to buy it every time you want some (which I pay for it 90% of the time anyway... the other 10% being Bdays/Xmas/friends who like it or are tolerable enough to buy it) he's fine with it... hell, his friends at work have read my R-X -Rated fanfiction... That's just how my dad is...
My mom on the other hand thinks I am in a phase and although she doesn't care if I own it, refuses to let me tell anybody except the close (my brother, her, dad, my grandma, my cousins) know I like it... why? I don't know, what's it to her. She was like this when I told her I was dating a girl too... well, I'll win with her SOMEDAY. (perhaps when I am 82 and still watch Gravitation at least once a month)

My parents do not know, and I'm almost positive they will never know. I have no intention on telling them, and unless they find out by themselves, (oh god that will be scary), they will never know.
