charms spring term 2011 class closed

"...I WILL get this! I'm not going to give up!" Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, she raises her wand again, "Expelliarmus!"

When nothing happens again, she huffs and takes a seat at her desk groaning, "That's it for now..."

"Right, back to work," Rachelle stands up, brandishing her wand.

"Expeliarmus!" The spell rebounds, hitting her square in the chest, knocking her over. From her spot on the floor, she groans. "I give up."

"Immobilise" Rachelle yelps as the spell backfires into the thin crowd of students, hitting one of them, freezing them to the spot. "Sorry, so sorry!" she calls.

((ooc they only back fire and hit other students during the final they back fire and hit you during the classwork xp )

"Let's try this again, shall we?" She mutters to herself before brandishing her wand again. "Immobilise!"

"That's more like it!" She smiles before moving on to the third and last spell.

"2pts for griffendor"

"Alright.." Rachelle sighs, standing back up.

"Expeliarmus!"

 

[Nite of Storms]

Sonas looks around the room after reading the lesson she takes out her wand wiping off some snow. She grins looking around for something to test her spells on. She decides to use Locomotor on Henry. She grins and raises her wand. "Locomotor."

She grins as a confused Henry floats up into the air before she sets him back down onto the ground. Henry baaahhs and Sonas pets the top of his head soothingly.  

[Nite of Storms]

Sonas approaches a dark corner set up for students to practise the Lumos spell. She raises her wand and clears her throat. "Lumos."

No light comes out of her wand and instead makes the surrounding area seem a little darker. Her mouth turns down and she prepares to try again.  

[Nite of Storms]

Sonas shakes off the last try and waves her robes a bit down her hand. "Lumos." She says more forcefully this time trying to get a light to spark out of the wand.

The spell fails completly and she grimances.

Feeling disapointment Sonas takes a deep breath than thinks about what she can do. More force.....

"Lumos!"

The spell fails again and Sonas stomps her foot. Fine I'll do another spell.

Sonas stays in her corner calling as Henry comes over. She doesn't want people to hear her croning to her little companion.
"Muffliato."

With a perfect casting she spends several moments in happy joy talking to Henry.

Sonas finally prepares to attempt her Lumos spell again.
"Lumos!"
