ok so this new guy scofeild jenkins dosnt want to be an elf so i told him i would see what i could pull off as long as hes really active for a few days. do you think its possible we could have him sorted before term starts?if not i will let him know. he says the reason his he "hate anything and everything thats humanoid with pointy ears and pale skin." his words not mine.

That'd be unfair on every other gaian applying.

Okay! So I forgot (not really, but didn't have time before) that I would be the Editor for this issue!

Okay, so I'll only be able to do the Member of the Month, Special Announcements (which is Around Hogwwarts), and Note from the Editor.

Oshen, can you do an article on the New Years' Resolutions? Also, if you have time, can you do an article about Classes? I know you're teaching again, and I think a "What I enjoy about teaching" article will be great!

Lana, I got your Elf submission before, but I need you to resend it! What else would you be able to do?

I'm going to see if Amber can draw up a picture too.

I can probably whip up Just For Fun, and the answers for last month.

He has to be an Elf. It's part of the process here at HPGoG. It's stated in the Rules, that if you expect to walk in on your first day and own the place, then this guild is not for you. You work your way up. Everyone here has been an Elf at one point in time, including myself. It's a time to make mistakes and be corrected instead of punished by taking House Points. If he says in the guild and meets the requirements for Early Sorting, then and only then can he be sorted. Otherwise, he will have to wait until the next Sorting.

Those that need volunteers:
Birthdays (just follow Lyra's format! I need one of you to do this. Go to the birthday thread and find out who's birthday is on there. If there's not a post for it, don't worry too much about it. If need be you ccan make a thread in the Discussion subforum ASKING people if their birthday is in January or February.

That would leave 3 empty spaces. We can do horoscopes, recipes, or whatever.
