Jae couldn't go by much but long pauses usually meant there was a deeper underlying meaning waiting to be read inbetween the lines. As much as Jae loved to get to the bottom of a secret she didn't want to pry into someone's closet. Especially since she had her own skeletons to hide. Jae was sure she would be killed if word got out about what she was involved in a year ago."I see..."She dropped the subject, elapsing into silence once again. Jae had long since shed her jacket and immediately she began to notice the climate changes. It was getting warmer and the air was getting a lot smoother. She really had gotten used to the warmth that Konoha gave off. It was the perfect type of warmth that she needed. Her thoughts trailed toward her last conversation with Noctis. He had brought up her mother which worried Jae somewhat. Did I endanger them? She hated herself for having to put them through this. Her problems were her problems. She hated that they ended up attached to the end of her chains. She was going to have to speak with the Hokage. He would know what she should do. He was the only one she could trust and rely on, especially after this. Jae stopped abruptly, pausing to catch her breath. As much as she wanted to keep running until her heart exploded out of her chest she knew that was partially suicide and she needed to rest for a couple of minuets at least. She hadn't paced herself correctly and had burned a good twenty minuets because of that. Veering off the main path she sat at the base of a tree, hugging her knees close to her chest as she caught her breath. Closing her eyes she rested her chin on the tops of her knees, seeming to be sleeping.

As Jae slept the wind picked up and leaves began to rustle. After the wind died down, shadows appeared on the tree's converging on Jae, soon she was surrounded. A loud voice echoed through the tree's."Hey girl, wake up! Give us everything you got!"

Jae stirred from her nap, opening her eyes to mere slits as the voice interrupted her solitude. She was no sensor but she had picked up on their presence a few seconds prior so she wasn't alarmed by the sudden voice cutting into the silence she had settled down into. Getting to her feet slowly she became fully aware then, staring up at the group that had surrounded her. Jae was in a bad mood. As much as she wanted to pretend she had stopped picking fights for no reason she was more than willing to oblige these strangers. Honing in on the one that had spoken up for the group she flashed him an impish smile. 'I'm warning you now. I'm not in a good mood." Jae said, being fair to them first. It was always polite to let her prey know their lot before hand. Rotating her right shoulder, like she always did, Jae widened her stance, allowing them the first move. "Well. We both know I am not going to comply so let's just get this over with, ne?" She taunted, being as prickly as ever. She just wanted to go home. What was with the universe sending unpleasantries her way. She didn't ask to be spied on back in Yuki nor did she want her parents to get involved. Her entire existence was teetering on an edge, one that could topple should the Leaf village decide they no longer wanted to ally themselves with Yuki. Despite pretending to be free in Konoha she was still chained and shackled to Yuki, a small fact she discovered for herself upon visiting Keiji the new Yukikage. Freedom was such a hard thing to grasp and as Jae suddenly recalled her trailing ails she got more riled up.

The seemed to be leader of the bandits smirked, though his face was obscured. He made a hand movement and suddenly all of the bandits began jumping down from the tree's charging at Jae.

Jae moved through her hand signals, summoning her BB's. She shot them out at her opponents, and followed after them, signing for her sword and producing it from her palm as she charge and moved to meet with the first of her opponents. Jae was quick in her movements, running her blade through her opponent with ease, his distraction with the BB's had caused him to react too slowly. Jae disappeared in an instant, the second of her targets having caught on to defend after seeing his partnered down across from him. Jae ran her sword vertically down, running this man through as well. Her hair was kicked up in a wave of strands, the pieces falling around her face in a messy manner, giving her a more demented feel to her. Jae's gaze was hard then, the little smirk she wore replaced with a scowl. The leader of the bandits seemed a little surprised by her quick movements and Jae watched as he appraised her. There were still two more to go. Jae looked at them both, sizing them up. She had places to be so she needed to get this over with as soon as possible. She directed the BB's at the remaining two men, the guys finally moving to par them with a few quick defensive jutsu. Jae summoned two clones and dispatched them to follow up. They slashed at the men with Kunai's once the barrier went down, the men easily staving off her mirrored images. Jae followed behind one of them, catching the man she had selected to go down next by surprise. Jae made quick work of him with the horizontal strike of her blade. She disappeared once again, appearing to the right of the man in a squatted position. She kicked at his legs, knocking him over. Using the blunt part of her blade she rammed it into his stomach with enough force to render him unconscious. "You are next." Jae had not even broken a sweat yet. Her training in Yuki's thin air had done her some good. Her stamina had increased as well.

The leader sat on the branch while his men were taken down one after another. After they were done for and Jae had said that he was next he began to laugh. The laugh was loud and echoed throughout the trees. The man jumped down from the tree with his cloak fluttering in the air. After landing he removed it, revealing to be garbed in shinobi gear, even having a headband that was so throughly scratched it was impossible to make out what village he belonged too."Well well, feisty I like that." You could tell that this man was trained, he wasn't like those simple bandits.

Jae smirked in response to the rogue displaying his obvious Shinobi attire. "Can we just get this over with... I have somewhere to be." Jae had to be cautious now. She was up against someone a little more skilled than the practice dummies she had downed earlier. She had to assume that he was highly skilled and that he had Katon Jutsu. Fire. Her biggest weakness. She wasn't going to go down so easily if confronted with it. Her face was detached as she sized up her opponent. Letting out a small breath, Jae disappeared, reappearing behind and to the right of her opponent. The worst thing he could have done was give up the high ground and join her in the kill box. She moved through her hand signals using one hand and activated her chakra. She swung her blade with her occupied hand, in sync with the water that had suddenly collected and pooled around them. Her water transport technique was handy when she needed to use large amount of it at once. Moving her free hand again she was going through another string of single handed hand signs, activating her chakra she summoned Water clone Reflection which produced two clones that held 1/3 the power that she did. Needless to say they were more capable than the basic clones. They backed her up in case her foe somehow dodged her attack.

The man was pierced straight through with Jae's blade a look of surprise was on his face. But the look vanished as he smirked. The man face cracked as he exploded. The a laugh could be heard from the tree."You might be strong but you seem a bit inexperienced."The man said as he appeared walking on another tree branch in front of Jae. He then flashed through more seals as spikes of earth would move to pierce Jae and her clones if they survived the initial explosion.

She had gotten to restless and realized she had rushed in too quickly. She had to save her last Body Flicker so she improvised. Jae dispersed her crimson blade and used the opportunity of her free hands to summon her shields of wind and used it as a buffer to take the grunt of the explosion. Of course it wasn't going to defeat the sudden blast and as the last of the explosion got to the shield, breaking it apart, Jae was sent flying, or seemingly flying. Aside from her wind Jutsu Jae had gone ahead and activated a Genjutsu, her first time having to try it out. Jae summoned a simple clone that she swapped out for her. As the spikes erupted from the ground around her decoy, which was laying out on the ground trying to recover from the explosion, one of the spikes connected with her, piercing her through the chest. "Jae" lay still on the ground, motionless. This Genjutsu was used for artificial death and it was a powerful one.

Jae touched down on a branch across from the field, facing her assaulter. She remained hidden, hiding her presence as much as she could by staying will hidden amongst the leaves. The Kunoichi was slightly disgruntled, her silent scoff the only reaction she would give to him as he ranted about her inexperience. It wasn't Jae's inexperience that got the best of her. It was her temper. She remained quiet, thinking about her next course of action. It was probably time to use that Jutsu now. Especially because it seemed a little out of place for bandits to just suddenly pick a fight with her for her possessions. Bandits were cowardly up against stronger Shinobi and would not engage in a fight that was to taxing for fear of getting caught. She didn't believe this person was a bandit and she wanted to know what it was he really wanted from her. She waited, trying to see if he would take the bait of her fake death.

The rouge looked as it appeared that he killed the girl, but it seemed almost too easy as he jumped down to look at the body. He carefully approached, thinking about how she was able to dispatch the bandits so easy yet two c rank jutsu can do her in?

((This is going~ um well in my head It was like, rogue uses fire jutsu you freeze again, then Noctis jumps in and gets hit by fire jutsu instead, Rogue think's you got reinforcements and runs off. Noctis then concludes you're scared of fire and they talk and become BFFS!!!!!! Oh course that last part I'm joking.UGH The evaluations are so FAIL! its a like a written exam!!! I thought we were gonna be fighting and stuff!! ))

Jae took a small breath and then moved once he had begun approaching the downed clone. It disappeared the moment she summoned two other clones, stronger in rank. They only served to restrain him. It was all or nothing now. Both clones summoned the water whip that Jae was able to summon and cracked them at the enemy. Jae jumped down from her perch and disappeared. When she reappeared she was behind the rogue once more, crouched down low. With a quick string of hand signals she activated her bloodline. "Divine dragon!" Jae muttered, her blood pooling out of her in a large amount. A red crested dragon appeared, forming from the blood that Jae had summoned. It roared, it's cry silent despite the vibrations that seemed to pulse into anyone in close proximity. The dragon lurched for the man, aiming to enter at his chest. This was the strongest Jutsu Jae had in her arsenal and it was perfect for interrogation. If the dragon so much as touched him it was over for him. His life would be in the palm of her hand.

[ ooc : Like it would be that easy. Jae wouldn't forgive him, much less acknowledge him. He threatened her family, or so she believes because he tailed her. Family is important, Noctis should understand that. << Having a family [no matter how second handed it happened] himself. So PUUUUHH!! I know but it's mainly to weed out the no shows. XD We do get to fight. This is only the first round. ]

The rogue suddenly had has hands tied, he saw Jae appear in front of him. He struggled against the water whips. But what Jae didn't notice was a body drop down her left weaving through handseals as she did the man had made a clone to attack incase he got stuck. It unleashed a great fireball right at her as her blood dragon headed for the real one.

((Ok well first I was joking lol, Second Oh I wish she would say she still doesn't forigive him, he would have the best comeback ever. lol Family, he barely even took them as his before he had to go to that hell frozen over village! XD Threatened her family? Not like he was like Oh I'ma kill your family or something, besides not like the Yukikage would do anything be realistic XD))

As the fireball came barreling towards her a figure would appear next to her placing his arms in front of him taking the jutsu full on. After it was over, it seemed like snow began to melt from his skin. As Noctis stood up straight after taking that fireball on. His skinned had burns on it but thanks to his armor and natural coldness that reduces the effectiveness of katon. He wasn't too badly hurt. This left Jae to finish off the rogue.

Jae turned her head slightly, her body automatically locking. s**t. It took all of her will power just to turn away from it, her training only having gotten her far enough so that she looked away. She braced for being burned to death, getting ready to at least take out the rouge with her. It was then a shadow cast over her, Jae not even having to look to know who it was. She would leave him to handle the jutsu, she knew he could. She had seen it done before. She pivoted on her heel and continued to direct her dragon. The dragon entered the man's chest, immediately heading for his heart. The dragon's translucent jaws clamped over the man's heart. This was the first time she could actually feel her enemies heartbeat pound in her own veins and as she clenched her right first, the dragon snapped it's jaws over the rouges heart, instantly causing his heart to explode, killing him. Jae went to one knee, resting. She had used a lot of her blood for that one attack and it had fatigued her. Hopefully I can rest before the exams. She thought, feeling a little sick to her stomach suddenly. Feeling someone else's heartbeat was gross. She sighed and stood up, wobbly at first but instantly righting herself. Looking to Noctis she appraised his burns. She only wished she could have given them to him herself. That was twice she owed him and it was two mistakes she wish she had never made. She narrowed her gaze, her expression bleak. "Why the hell can't you just leave me alone?!" The small sensible part in her knew that she was being over the top and that she should be thanking him instead right now but she was still upset from earlier. Jae took a sharp intake of breath, her drainage was making her anemic and if her blood pressure got any higher she was going to pass out. "Who am I kidding. It's you were are dealing with. It's probably going to be some cryptic, depressing response. Forget I even asked." Jae cradled her right side, her ribs a little sore for the explosion. She needed to head out to the exam location. She had hoped to visit the Hokage before leaving but this had set her back.
