Okay, my entry is finally done! I decided to do the lines traditionally and color it in Photoshop. DOG: Chinese ZodiacPeople born in: 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006Dog people are honest, faithful and sincere. They respect tradition and value honor, and enjoy helping people. The Dog is very righteous, and always is the first to speak out against injustice. He is not good at socializing with friends, and rarely shines in company, but he is intelligent, caring and a good listener. For my submission, I drew one of the oldest and wildest types of dog; The Coyote (Well...a Coyote girl, really). It's part of the dog family, Its scientific name, Canis latrans, means "barking dog" in Latin.

Pandiecakes Okay, the sketch is finally done. This is not my completed entry, but simply my work in progress. I thought I would share it with you all before I colored it. Chinese zodiac: monkey and according to the first post, the element corresponding to it is fire ' earrings: fire (left), monkey(right) // i think those are in Chinese. in the fireball - monkey. the symbols around her are in Japanese (and i had a friend check ^^). These are the characterisics of a monkey (according to:http://www.whats-your-sign.com/Chinese-zodiac-signs.html ): Quick-witted, charming, lucky, adaptable, bright, versatile, lively, smart the symbols start from the bottom left and go clockwise and reflect the above mention'd characteristics (in that order) monkey physical traits: the two toned hair, the large ears like monkeys have, the tail, and the fur at the ankles and the wrists. because the element was fire, i colored the fur and hair in that tone. Also there are little spots of light kinda glowing around the fire-fur/hair to emphasize that it's flames. yes the outfit is self designed, and since the monkey is supposed to be clever, i decided to make it a slightly intricate outfit. The gold wrappings along the (your) right arm and leg are to add to the complexity of the outfit. btw apologies if i screw'd up the Japanese, i kinda eyeballed them when i was drawing 'em.
