"Written Comp. Pretty boring stuff. But eh, what am I supposed to do? I gotta take it for college 'n all." Lexi told him as they then approached a large steel gate. Reaching out of her car, she entered her pin on the small pan and the gates immediately began to open to let her through. She smirked before she went inside, passing many beautiful houses with "perfect families" strewn about on their lawns, mowing, playing in the sprinklers, etc. It looked like something out of a movie.

"Wow... some hood." Dill looked around as they drove. He would stick out like a sore thumb in this place. It was very high end.

"Eh, I guess. You should've seen the last neighborhood I lived in before this. This is considered a paradise compared to that hellhole." Lexi replied with a bit of a giggle as she glanced over at him. She then turned down on another street before she pressed a button on her car, unlocking the safety system in her house for her car to arrive safety into her driveway. With a sigh, she parked and cut the engine. Unbuckling and getting out, she then walked over to the backseat, grabbing her backpack before she slung it over a shoulder. "Alright, well, home sweet home. Welcome." She told him with a smile before she motioned for him to follow her once she was walked up onto the porch, key in hand.

Dill got out slowly still taking the neighborhood in. He wasn't sure what she called hellhole. He took his bag from the backseat and followed her. He suddenly was feeling very inadequate. To these houses his house looked like a shabby little hut. His mothers car a junker. And the feeling got worse as he walked into her house. To him she lived in a palace, and he felt bad for looking so much like a bum walking into it. Not like he owned anything he could wear in any of the houses on her block.

Lexi threw her bag on the couch before she looked around. Well, no one was home. But it was always that way, so it was nothing new. "Hey, you hungry? Or you thirsty? I can get you something..." She told him with a smile as she began to walk in the direction of the kitchen, motioning for him to follow her. She then walked into the kitchen and to the refrigerator, opening it and grabbing a Diet Coke. She then opened it and took a sip, a satisfied breath soon coming afterward. "Well?" She asked with a cute giggle, tucking a strand of her blond hair behind one ear.

"Ummm what ever is fine... so wheres this ramp of yours anyway?" Dill figured it would be best to focus on skating right now to get over the overwhelming feeling of the house.

"Alright, I'll whip something up in a bit." Lexi told him with a smile before she nodded. "Oh!" She then led him into the backyard. "There it is." She pointed over to the mini park that stood in her backyard. She then took another sip of her Coke before she glanced over at Dill, wondering how he was going to take the fact that she had a skatepark in her backyard. "My little brother is still just a kid, so he can't do all of the tricks on this thing. But maybe you can. I'm sure you'll master this easily." She complimented with a grin, chuckling under her breath.

Dill's jaw hit the floor. He thought it would be like a small ramp nothing big, but the girl had a dame skate park in her back yard. Now he not only felt inadequate but damn jealous. He turned to her slowly, "A ramp huh? You have a damn park." He was psyched and jealous and about a million other things right now. It was fairly simple but that so wasn't the point. He had a jump ramp he used for his bike as well and an empty pool in his back yard, it paled in comparison.

Lexi blushed lightly as she glanced down at the ground, trying to think. "Well, sorry. I've never been to a skatepark before, and Kyle just called it a ramp, so... yeah. That's what I call it when people ask." She told him with a sigh as she glanced back up to him, rubbing the back of her neck with her right hand, since the left was still holding onto the can of soda. "So, well, would you like to try it out? Since you are so intrigued with it?" She asked with a smirk, turning the conversation on him now.

Dill dropped his bag by the door. "Has this thing even been used? Theres hardly any wear if any at all to it." He was still amazed at the size of the mini park. He kept the comments about her brother to himself, he didn't want to step on toes by insulting the kid.

"Well, we got it re-done awhile ago. But daddy's been pushing Kyle to be a footballer and yeah." Lexi replied as she took another sip out of her soda, sighing as she lowered her hand from her neck to her hip. "Why? Something wrong with it?"

"Nah nothings wrong with it.... Kinda afraid to scratch it up now though." Dill mentioned dropping his board to the ground and placing his foot on it. He bit his lip a little and then looked at her. "Your brother isn't gonna be mad if I skate on it is he? Or your father for that matter?"

"Don't worry about it. Dad's out on a business trip to Japan. He won't be back for another week or two. As for Kyle, I think he would be more happy than upset. Like, he would want you to teach him how to get even better than he is now. You'd be like his new best friend." Lexi replied with a bit of a giggle, finishing off her Coke before she crushed it in her hand.

Dill smiled, "Then away I go." He skated off, taking things easy for a few moments to get the feel of things. Then he started with some simple tricks. He did a few allies and board grabs. He was in his own world as he skated the little park.

"Okay," Lexi began as she watched him speed off on his skateboard into the park. "Wow." She breathed as she watched him, sitting down on a chair on the outdoor patio. "He's amazing."
