Lyle took the first bite and almost melted. It was so good, probably the best steak she had ever had. She didn't care if it was on steriods or not, it was good. After swallowing the first piece, she smiled at Skye. "Steriods or not, its delicious." She said with a giggle.

"The burger is damn good too." He smiled and took another bite. He was defiantly coming back to this place to try more of their menu. "This place is a defiant repeat... they have really good food."

Lyle nodded in agreement. She was so coming here again for more food. "I wonder what other places might have really good food." She said before cutting off another piece and putting it into her mouth.

"Well we have time to find out." Skye smiled and ate a few more fries. he looked forward to finding more places with her. He looked around the dinner a bit taking in the decor. It was a bit festive and old fashion, very diner.

Lyle smiled as she continued to cut away at her stake and eat it. It was so good, and she couldn't wait to order it again next time. She also couldn't wait to explore some more with Skye.

"So do you like have a curfew or something?" Skye asked. He didn't want to get her home late or in trouble. He hoped to make a good impression with her aunt, or at least not make her hate him with a fiery passion.

Lyle smiled and gave him a slight shrug. "She expects me to be home by midnight, so we have plenty of time to explore and hang out." She replied with a slight blush. Her parents, or so to say family, didn't really believe in curfews. They trusted each other enough to believe that no one would get into trouble. Besides, how can you put a curfew on a creature that practically lived two lives. Lyle was nearly finished with her stake already.

Skye nodded, understanding. He was close to finishing his burger and fries. He was getting full. "I can't believe your finishing all of that." He said, not trying to judge or anything.

Lyle blushed, she was no where near full. "I'm just really hungry." She said shyly as she continued to eat. Her friends back at home new how much she could eat. They never questioned her about it though, they just always thought that she had a really fast metabolism that required her to eat so much.

"Oh jeeze... I didn't mean anything by that... I didn't mean to embarrass you or anything. I'm sorry." Skye looked down at his plate. He felt bad for making it sound like he was judging her or dissing her or something.

"Oh, no it's ok. I just have a really fast metabolism that makes me hungry all the time. It runs in the family." She said with a small smile. She knew that he didn't mean it in an offensive way, and she didn't mean to reply like it upset her, she was just shy about her eating habits. Most people thought it strange, but she couldn't help it.

"Well that pretty cool." Skye played with a few fires. "Okay hating the awkwardness... how about you?" he asked trying to break the weird.

Lyle nodded slightly as she finished her steak. "Yeah, I'm ready to leave if you want to continue looking around town?" She asked, feeling a bit awkward with just sitting there as she stuffed her face like a pig.

"Sure sounds good." Skye pulled out his wallet to pay. He loved being in a rich family. They may not live in a big fancy house but they had the cash to do what ever they wanted. But he still hated flashing cash.

"No, let me pay." She said softly as soon as she saw Skye pull out his wallet. She hated when others paid for her, it made her feel like she needed to pay them back or like she was a burden. "Please?" She added as she pulled out her own wallet.
