i think if we choose the musical art inspiration for the theme of the art contest more poeple would have a more creative oppurtunity to express them selves in a broder way. if they get to choose the type of music and evn the song and express how that song makes them feel your gonna have a beatifull piece of art!!! smile

I've decided to take a guild census for the most popular idea for our June contest! This may be how we decide contests from now on. By the end of the month, we'll tally up the votes and (hopefully) give you all what you want!

What I have planned for 2010

Each contest will start on the 20th of every month and will end on the last day of that month.

January: Animal
Completed winner was Aivrry

February: Seven Deadly Sins
Starts February 25th ends March 7th.... ended

March: fantasy
GP winner was Dark heaven crimson Rose

April: elements
GP winner was lea florens

May: create your own cartoon (As hosted by RzDz)
GP winner was Kitsune no Gatsu Mei

June: Couples or.. ?? (Up for vote)

July: fairy tale or nursery rhyme

August: Go crazy

September: wonderland creature

October: Of course some kind of halloween theme

November: chibi and/or fanart

December: Holiday theme


These are only ideas. They are all work in progress. So please if you have any ideas post them here. If you have a idea for a certain idea of a month please let me know what month it is for. Sorry if i have spelt anything wrong.

Do you mean zodiac? In that case, it could possibly be a zodiac contest for multiple cultures zodiac calendar. There's the Chinese, the Celtic, and the basic zodiacs. I will say, the Celtic zodiacs would be harder to draw, since they're physical manifestations are trees, but I think that would be a really awesome idea.
