Dear Maplers,


Early in the summer, we had scheduled to release the Cash Shop by the end of summer.

Unfortunately, summer has ended and we have not released the Cash Shop. It will be slightly delayed as it still requires some work and fine tuning.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and we hope you can lend us your understanding as we prepare new and exciting things for the Global Service.

We are working day and night on the implementation and we hope to have the Cash Shop ready for you soon.

1) A new quest is added - Cody and the Theme Park.
2) Removal of Summer Items from the monsters.

Users will not be able to play the game during that time.

Dear Maplers,

The service will be turned down for the preparation of upcoming new features from 2PM to 10PM EST, Wednesday, October 5th, 2005. The service may be turned up earlier than scheduled. We will update you of our progress through the notice board.

There will be no noticeable change once the service is turned up. We know our community has been extremely patience with us and we assure you that there will be major updates in the coming week(s). Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to bring you a better service.

The sever check will take place starting 3:30 AM EDT and will last for approximately two hours.

There will be no noticeable change once the service is turned up. This will only be a maintanance session. However, there will be major updates in the very near future.

We are proud to announce that Wizet will be working with NXgames starting next week. NXgames is the new US arm of Nexon Corp., one of the premier online game publishers in Asia. MapleStory will be its first product published in the US and NXgames and Wizet both hope to work together to make it a successful launch. Wizet will remain as the developer, and we envision that working with NXgames will give us more opportunities to provide you with more content, entertainment, and support.

We would also like to announce that The Cash Shop is finally opening. We understand that there has been a ''slight'' delay and we are extremely sorry for the long wait. We are scheduled to launch on the 21st of October, and for the first two weeks, we will be having a testing period.

During this testing period, we will be releasing a selected batch of great items to test at substantially discounted prices. Also, you buy at your own risk but you will be the pioneers of the MapleStory Cash Shop =) Please remember because we are dealing with Virtual Items there are absolutely NO REFUNDS for MapleCash purchased or items bought in the CashShop.

We apologize for the late update about the latest preparations, and we are extremely grateful for your patience and understanding. Thank you and we will try our best to make MapleStory Global more fun and exciting.

For now, users can only charge their accounts using PayPal. However, we are working on implementing a credit card payment method which will allow users not using PayPal to charge their accounts.

Due to the increase in traffic, some users will experience problems updating GameGuard and accessing the game.

If your game is not working after the auto patch, please do the following.



Please update GameGuard by downloading the file at the address below.

Run the exe file then select the folder that MapleStory is installed.
