Meghan said with a nod. She made a face and looked away, at the now setting sun. It was getting colder and she shivered.

Meghan laughed softly. "Well I figured that.. Considering you're the one who asked me." She shook her head gently. "We're basically just kids..." She pointed out. "Have you ever heard of people our age getting married? promise rings and such... yes. but not marriage."

"Then you could've waited..." Meghan pointed out. Not moving, she liked the warmth... but she wouldn't return the embrace. Not yet at least.

Meghan rolled her eyes and looked up at him. "You're stupid." She said flatly and walked over to the end of the deck, sitting on the rail, looking out over the treeline at the pinkish sky.

Nick was so overcome with joy, he hugged her tightly, pulling her down to the deck and smiled. "Thanks..." he said.
