For us, Sirius and Remus as a couple would be heaven; however, as mentioned in several posts before JK is already dealing with plenty controversy. She has certain church goers after her already with the witchcraft angle (not all church goers, but you can't deny the relegious aspect). My thought is though, that if she included Sirius and Remus as a couple in the beginning, there'd be just that many more kids not allowed to read it; while some parents can tolerate witchcraft, I'm sure some can't tolerate homosexuality. So it would be unreasonable, from a business aspect, to isolate more potential readers. Perhaps I'm a tad optimistic, but if JK was to include anything in reference to Sirius and Remus having a relationship, I would wait until the very last possible moment to put it in 3nodding
