God yes, Radiohead rule!

Don't they just. (No pun intended)
Which albums do you know? I hope you don't only know OK Computer. Of course it's a fantastic album, but it's the one everyone knows. Currently I'm a bit in love with Kid A. They went all experimental after OK Computer.
I have all their albums except Pablo Honey (Apparently it's not very good) - namely The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief. That's in order of release.

Arh, I'm in too deep. I have a scattering of music files on my pc, well. Only two, but I love them with a passion.

Hee hee, yes. I could go on and on about Radiohead for hours, and you'd probably be very bored.
It's quite cool, I live in Oxford, which is where Radiohead come from, and virtualy everyone claims to have some link to them. I even have a friend of a friend or something who claims to have once had a brief fling with the singer (before he got married)

I love Punk too. It's just so much fun to be out and about on a summer's afternoon in Plymouth at the Punks Picnic, listening to "Bus Station Loonies" playing their set and being surrounded by all these fun loving, orange-juice swilling punks. They look kinda scary from a distance, but really, they're just big kittens, the lot of them...hehe...and of course, goth comes from punk, so they're like distant cousins or something anyway

I could go on, but...I wont, as I now have to go and hunt down a cup of tea.

was punk from britain? or the us?

and...couldn't help but notice but...no one's mentioned the clash?

you know...london calling...all that jazz..

Technically the US...~eyes stringedmessenger and makes "harrumphing" noises~ but to be honest, even though it may have possibly taken its first, gasping breaths in the US, it's British now, through and through, no mistake.

In fact, just have to say, any of you British Gaians out there who like Punk, you really ought to come along to the Punks Picnic this summer in Plymouth...it's going to be a great laugh, as usual smile

Whapcapn - You should try pablo honey. It's not as good as the rest but tracks 8 - 12 are worth buying the whole album for.

I probably prefer OK over all of them, though.

Anyone like the breeders? Pixies, for that matter? Interpol? At the Drive-in?

Interpol?

Interpol - Evil.

I've had that track on so much these last few days that you would not believe. It's the only Interpol song I have on my computer though, I need to find more!

gonk

Gah, I hate being at school. I can't hear my music.

I love Snow Patrol even if they're from Ireland. Also Mesh are awesome. I do love Oasis, Queen, The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy and a few other goth bands. whee

Also, punk was British, not American. >.o
