i got Chalice by Robin McKinley for Chrostmas, so i'm into that.

it's fairly short, but i'm to the point where everybody starts to pick on her so i put it down until i felt stronger

what a wimp i am!

Very good book, and I agree, it is too short. I'm currently reading Perdido Street Station and many, many AP review books.

Just finished The Farthest Shore by Ursula K. Le Guin. It was incredible. That about sums it up, really.

i thought that was the best of the earthsea books, and was disappointed when she didn't write it into her compressed made-for-tv version (Sci Fi channel).

the Mountains of Pain!

what a fitting division between life and unlife.

I've really had no new books lately. But the last one I read is called Poison Study, and it is AMAZING. There's a second and third, but I haven't read them yet.

You're a part time lover and a full time friend

I recently read The Mysterious Benedict Society, and am starting on the sequal. The first was quite good, although the writing not THAT good - to be honest, it reminded me of my own writing. Bleh.

I've been working on "Assasin's Apprentice" by Robin Hobb.

So far it's been really good. It has it's moments where it seems to be painfully slow but the story is still good.

Chronicles of Ancient Darkness
It's a pretty simple series but it is still ok.

It's by Michele Paver.

Hmmm....I'm not sure it's the same one. The book I'm reading is by a female Irish writer about some messed up family and death things. It's awesome though! It's like Joyce's "The Dead" revisited in strange and even more disturbing ways.

Currently Wizard and the Glass, part of Stephen King's Dark Tower series. I liked the first couple books, but this one is really hard to get through. It's very angsty.

i am now reading "The Terror" by Dan Simmons.

it is an historical, but has a supernatural element in it, some horror, and compelling characters.
